I was so surprised to see your cabinet behind you with your Old Country Roses pattern how much beauty they bring to your lovely kitchen. That’s my China pattern as well just stands out
Sometimes, even when you follow mom's recipe to a T, it STILL isn't quite as good as mom's! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe! I'll certainly be whipping It up!!
My mama, being Italian, never made this and neither have I but I'm going to try it because my American friends say it's delicious. It LOOKs good! Thank you for sharing your mom's recipe. Subbed and thumbs up!
I plan to cook this for my husband & serve with juicy tomatoes for a quick and easy meal! I've have made something similar, but this has everything in it to taste good! Thank you!
What Classy lady! Just as sweet and pretty as she can be! Mom used to make corn casserole, corned beef casserole and she might of had a few others. I think Mom used milk or cream in hers but not sure. At any rate I'm making this one sooner or later.
Love your cooking videos and have learned a lot. Also love the tips you give us. My cleanup has been so much easier using the wax paper and zip lock bags. Great ideas. I, like many others want very much to see a hair tutorial by you or your stylist. If you would share how you put your hair up it could change our morning routines. I am sure you have it down to some easy steps. Keep the cooking videos coming PLEASE consider a hair tutorial. Thank YOU
Thank you so much! As far as the hair goes, it's literally in a ponytail. My hair is very fine so it's light and stays in place. I just pull it on the top of my head and let it fall. Thanks so much for the compliment ❤
I would have mixed it up a little better to make sure all the dry cornbread mix got moist. Many recipes indicate to add well-beaten egg to the mix. But my Mom, GrndMom, and GGreatgrandMom would not call this Corn Pudding. Corn pudding is like a custard with ground smooth fresh corn, butter, salt, milk or cream, and 4 eggs, cooked into a beautiful custard pudding. Served as a side dish for Thanksgiving Dinner. It's the best.
Susanchase7880: this recipe is an all time favorite of mine. However, I LOVE a good custard like dish! Yours sounds wonderful! Do you happen to have the recipe you spoke about? I’d love to make it! If you do, would you mind sharing it? Thank you so much!❤️
Don’t you just love how all families/communities have their own deeply cherished recipes?! These fond memories are dear to all of us and must be respected and honored. Thank you both for sharing your memories with us! Have a blessed day!
@@camillerivera6642 The recipe she uses is (or was) on the back of the Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix box. She also posted it in the video description. Search: “Jiffy Spoon Bread“ The only difference I noticed was she said she baked at 350°F for 40-50 minutes. The box says to cook at 375°F.
one other way you can make it is to leave out the sour cream, add 8 oz. block cream cheese instead. you have to heat it slightly to soften it so it will mix better. whip it up first then add the eggs and cream corn. they will help to thin it out. add all the other ingredients don't over mix. cook it the same way.
I love this recipe.Came across it from a church member about 15 years ago.
Thanks for bringing back memories of my mom....I miss her so much. God bless you

I love my china. It was my grandmother’s. Such a treasure❤️
I have been making this for years, but I had about a cup of shredded Parmesan cheese into the mix before baking. It’s really delicious.
That sounds delicious! I’m going to try it. Thanks for the tip❤️
Thank you, for sharing your recipe of your creamy corn pudding . 🏡🦃🥰

Kathy called it a Corn Pudding Casserole, which it is. I made this recently and it is superb! Thanks Kathy!

You can over mix cornbread . It supposed to be mixed minimally fyi
Thank you
Can I make it ahead of time. Like the day before Thanksgiving
Absolutely! I’m sorry I’m just now responding. We’ve been off grid for the last few days. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving ❤️
@kathyssouthernkitchen302 thank you. Yes we had a very nice Thanksgiving

2/$1 two years ago for corn bread mix. Today, Thanksgiving holiday time 2024 1.29
You are so right!!! My, how things have changed 😢
You should beat the eggs in a separate bowl
Sniff the green part it'll still grow just like that and then put it in your eggs or whatever attractive do you have
No sugar??…
There’s sugar in the Jiffy Cornbread Mix
I use ricotta cheese instead.
cAN'T HEAR YOU!!
Turn it up, lol. She's perfectly loud enough, but she does have a soft voice.
3 for a dollar where? Lol.
That was 3 years ago when she posted this. Prices have jumped in that time.
Just tell the recipe. Not so much talking extra
I’m sorry❤️
Just give the recipe. To much talking in between.
@@janicemcguire5839 thank you for the comment❤️
You lost me at sour cream!! I don’t like sour cream
Use mayo 1:1 or cream cheese.
Your audio was not desirable 😢. I stopped listening and watching.
Kinda harsh. It’s not as bad as you claim.
So sorry❤️
I didn't find anything wrong I liked it the recipe sounds good😊
😮 If u don't have anything nice to say, don't open your mouth. There is nothing wrong with her voice
I heard her fine. Could you not turn up the volume?
