You can get a decent perfomance boost on Mario Kart Wii with MMJR (1) instead of MMJR2. Also, there's some tips I left on the RH T618 compatibility list.
This is an amazing video, but just so people know I’m pretty sure these are on default settings and you should be able to get most of these games playing at 100% by using underclocking, especially Mario galaxy I found a guy on UA-cam that does a ton of videos like this and gives you the settings to set the games up
Thanks! Yeah I tried a couple of different settings, and usually the ones that made it to the video used the best setting. Although 100% I might just not find the perfect settings for some of these games
My daughter plays just one game: The Munchables. There's an underwater scene that's pretty laggy on her PC. Do you think you can try that game out on the Retroid Pocket 3+?
Try call duty black ops 1 wii zombies It used to work for me 100% smooth on mmjr2 vulkan but stopped one day duno why it still runs at 90% in mmjr1 for me
It's a shame you take so long to make this tests and they end up not being representative of what the rp3+ can really do. It's as simple as using the best emulator with the right settings. I still apreciate your videos and the format is great.
@@monospacechannel In you have a Desktop PC at home, you can play these games on there and test them out. Once you've found a scenario that is more demanding you can actually make a Save State. Then it's a matter of drag and dropping that Save File to your device. You can then quickly test that game title in that scenario, against three different emulators, and do so within a few minutes. You'll then establish which emulator works best, then look to get more hands-on and obtain footage for the channel.
@@monospacechannel It depends on the emulator. I've had some issue in the past with those MIPS-based ones. But with Android, it's pretty easy to drag and drop, I've done it heaps of times when upgrading phones.
This channel has been doing god's work
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Great content! I’m really glad that it can play Tatsunoko vs Capcom smoothly.
thanks! appreciate it!
Hi! I've got a question about the graphics settings- were any special graphics settings used to improve speed, or is this the stock dolphin?
Mostly I only used the stock/default settings and only tinkered resolution
these vids are brilliant, please keep them coming!!
Thanks!!

Thanks for the suggestion! Might as well take a look at that
Please test Rune Factory Frontier and Rune Factory Tides Of Destiny too!!! Both are wii games
How I wish you get a gpd win 4 dropped in your post box so we can see the same tests on them! Good set of videos man!
I wish GPD would send me one lol. Thanks for watching!
Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of the Moon how it works on it, please tell me.

@guscrist9710 can you tell me the name of the guy?

You can always count on this channel for true emulation results.
Great video bro!
Appreciate it!

I cant get tatsunoke vs capcom to run as smooth as you? What settings are you using?
Only default settings to be honest. Try another version of Dolphin!
dammit, the wii its very hard to emulated in rp3+ but, where super smash bros brawl?
BEST Smash Bros.
Great video but which emulator u use, I mean which dolphin emulator, there's 3 of the dolphin emulator
Yeah forgot to mention it. Used the MMJR2!
@@monospacechannel ohk that’s great
Tweaking settings might improve some of these yes?
Definitely, not too much though!
@@monospacechannel I tried frame skip to one and that helped with army of two on PPSSPP
How's the battery life when emulating exclusively Wii games? Does it last 3 - 4 hrs?
The retroid always has great battery. I believe would last 3 hours for wii emulation, although I did not record how long i tested these games
I missed Castlevania Judgment and Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth on this list
Can you test if you can play multi-player by using a Bluetooth controller?
The RP2+ works with 2 Bluetooth conteollers. So the RP3+ should too!
Omg trauma team runs beautifully!!!! I can’t wait
How about monster hunter 3

If only I could split my self into 3 I would be able to test the 3 different versions of Doplhin without adding extra hours lol

@@ekinteko That's actually a great piece of advice! I wonder if transferring save states works for other handhelds too. But will try, thanks!

Super Mario Bros Wii ?
Super mario galaxy 😪
I don't think 15fps is really "playable"
❤️
Okay I’m going to say skip wii on this thing lol
Bro u choose the corniest of games to test 😢
Mostly chose games that wouldn't be too difficult to play without a wiinote!
Uhuyyy
