Oh I loooooved Our Share Of Night! Definitely recommend giving it another try. I was also incredibly impressed by Natural Beauty-I felt like it accomplished what Rouge was trying to do but much better and more stylishly.

I also adored Natural Beauty and thought it was probably the scariest book I read this year. Lone Women is also excellent if you find yourself in the mood to pick it up in the future 😊

Our share of night is amazing but not in the audiobook format =) I hope u could read it with your eyes because it has so many creepy details, the characters are so well written & the demonic story evolves pretty nicely. But u need eye--silence-brain-concentration, and of course, patience :D

Silver Nitrate was watching paint dry, absolutely. So dull. If you weren't captivated by Our Share of Night in the first part, then it's definitely not a book for you, although try the physical copy if you can. You're not the first person I've seen try to read it via audio book and it ended up not working - I thought it was a captivating story from a character perspective/deep dive. It's not a particularly horrific or scary book and there are very few high octane moments.
Natural Beauty is a HUGE win for me and easily among my top books of 2023, I'm so glad you loved it too! How to Sell a Haunted House was also a big win for me, but I can fully see why people wouldn't be as into it, it's certainly a niche book.
As you can see I am a horror reader lol so I am glad to see you have a dedicated horror vlog. I think House with Good Bones is pretty similar to How to Sell a Haunted House in terms of humor and is even less horrific, but it is definitely a haunted house, so if you're in the mood then it's a good one. Our Share of Night was my favourite horror ever! I think because it covered so much of what I love in books, and in horror. The pacing I think it’s to be “enjoyed”. Reading it was an experience as well. Just overall impressed with the achievement of the author in it.
I did love Silver Nitrate but I love everything Silvia writes, it’s not my favourite but I loved the relationship and the cult/occult part.
I also gave up on Our Share of Night… but to be fair, I’ve never read a vampire story I liked.

I don't feel like I've seen anything positive about Silver Nitrate 😬 Our Share of Night was so good but it definitely is a slow burn. It picks up towards the end and I loved it but I am glad I listened as an audiobook due to the length. The audiobook narrator was fantastic!
Lone Women was 5 stars for me!! ❤
how to sell a haunted house was my least favorite grady hendrix book, that shit was wackkk
