Thanks for sharing!
The chase plane is a T-6. That makes me so motivated!
Are you sure that it is not a" mentor " in the picture you know a T34 .
@@philliplopez8745 definitely a T6
Are these new build airframes or upgrades of the E-2Cs?
o som desse motor é lindo demais.
They seemed to be concerned with the structural integrity of the vertical stabilizers on the preflight....have they had trouble with them coming off? Or is it just that it “feels good” to tug on the airplane during the walk around? I remember doing that on Cessnas.
Upgrades. notice the eight bladed prop plus it has updated avionics
They should have done a wing fold when they finished the flight.
What’s with the siren noise?
this is not a "Fighter" plane, so the speed is not a very important issue. Is good enough for what the plane is expected to do
On the Hawkeye, it's endurance that's the big thing, it's an AWACS, the eyes of the fleet and carrier group. I saw another video where they were testing the refuelling boom and refuelling from a F-18 Hornet tanker, pretty strange looking.
haha the civilians are like "F**k it shorts and t-shirt on the flight line."
If I ever get into the navy or reserve this is the plane I would want to fly, I find 2 eng props such as ATR 72s and Q 400s very interesting, just 36 more hours to go until my private pilots license. Maybe by the time I get into the navy (I'm 13) they won't be using this.
Aceorbit Gaming -nope, they will probably still have the dogbone in 5 years! She’s a wonderful high performance twin turboprop Aircraft, a crucial part of NavAir ops (don’t leave home without her) and shots & traps like a dream. Study hard, stay focused and don’t quit. Do that and you can make it!
Update?
YAY! Boeing can't find a way to put a 24-foot radar dish on top of an F-18 Hornet! GRUMMAN FOREVER!!!
greenseaships would defeat the purpose of the F/A-18 being a strike fighter. The E-2 can orbit longer in a surveillance mode with the turbo props. Besides Boring already have AWACS aircraft, twin jet and four engine models based on the B707 platform. The F/A-18 radar is powerful but the design is for more targeting (Air-Ground) and interception (Air-Air). The Hawkeye and other AWACS versions are longer range surveillance to assist the fighters and also provide more early warning to protect the fleet.

Pretty sure greenseaships meant it as a joke lol. I hope, at least...
