Welcome back to the Sith List UA-cam channel! In this reaction episode, we're diving into the intense events of House of the Dragon Season 2, Episode 7, The Red Sowing.
House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 6 "Smallfolk" concludes with Rhaenyra (Emma D’Arcy) receiving the shocking news that the dragon Seasmoke has found a new rider. Earlier in the episode, Rhaenyra attempted to pair her “dead” husband’s lonely dragon with Ser Steffon Darklyn (Anthony Flanagan), her most loyal remaining Kingsguard, who had a Targaryen great-great-grandmother. This attempt failed. Instead, Seasmoke chose Addam of Hull (Clinton Liberty), the secret bastard son of Lord Corlys Velaryon (Steve Toussaint). Unaware of Addam's true lineage, Rhaenyra only knows that Seasmoke has a rider, and it’s not the one she selected. The new HBO preview for House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 7 hints at a tense confrontation between Rhaenyra and Addam.Dance of the Dragons. The early episodes of the season have seen the Blacks and Greens inch closer to war, beginning with the brutal events of Blood and Cheese and the duel of the Cargyll twins. The full-blown war erupted in Episode 4 with the Battle of Rook's Rest, an epic aerial confrontation where Aemond and his dragon Vhagar killed Rhaenys and Meleys, and severely wounded Aegon and Sunfyre. As we move into Episode 6, expect more intense drama and escalating conflict as the Dance of the Dragons continues to unfold.
House of the Dragon takes place two centuries before the War of the Five Kings, focusing on the Dance of the Dragons. The show is based on George R. R. Martin's Fire & Blood, along with the novella The Princess and the Queen and the novelette The Rogue Prince.

Jace's concerns are valid
Absolutely Valid. Makes total sense why he’s concerned.
Aemond made a terrible mistake by burning Aegon and injuring his Dragon
Ofc, since the beginning it was stupid to do that but everyone was calling him the real strategist of war of the greens, he can´t compare to Aegon as a ruler. big idiottttt
Totally agree!
It's his mistake but ultimately ulf of white nd hugh hammer both will be joining hands with aemond
@@amritpatanwala5108 not really, ulf and hugh have their own designs, they’re more a pain for the greens than a help
@@methuselahh_This fr lol they might become "greens" by faction but they have their own agendas lmao
What a scene at the end! I had goosebumps too Iraj.
@@Rachel-we8ey definitely goosebump worthy
The dragon that ulf claimed was silver wing! She was known as a docile and friendly dragon 😌
yes they did a great job with her! such a sweet old lady
Really! I didn’t know that. Thanks for that info. 🙏 I was a little worried there for a sec.
And will the son of the young Oscar Tully who we see in this episode end up being Hoster Tully who we briefly see the funeral of in the GoT series??
@@costco_pizza no, this show is 172 years before the main series
Vermithor: “A meal AND a new dragon rider?! this 2 for 1 meal is gas.”
Vermithor just got a happy meal!
Vermithor got a barbecue buffet! And his last rider's grandson as his new rider. What could be better?!
THANK YOU! I thought I was the only person who even knew there was a Grey Ghost lol. George short changed him and the cannibal both in the book so I hope the show does them justice lol.
Syrax be like : YASHH THATS RIGHT!!! BACK OFF OLD GRANNY
I loved Vermithor, Syrax, and Silverwing talking shit on ole granny Vhagar at the end when Aemond turned around.
Haha! They were definitely running their mouths at her. Back off old lady.
The last shot was amazing
So cool!! Truly made my hair stand up
Episode 7 was amazing! thank you!!!
Thank you for watching!!!!
Daemon was not tripping in the scenes with Oscar Tully, they are real
Ah ha!!! I knew it.
I LOVE OSCAR TULLY.....AND SILVERWING!
He was a little bad ass!
Alicents kids are 50% Targaryen as Jace and his brothers. Alicents kids were just lack to have silver hair. Silver hair does not make you a Targaryen. In the books Rhaenys has black hair because her mother was Borathean and she wasn’t a bastard. Jac is highborn on both sides no matter if he’s a bastard.
Well said.
WOW!!!!! What an Episode
@@johncullen7337 Right!!!!! So good. It’s going down
Dragons bond to one person, which is why Daemon and Rhaenera can’t claim another dragon. Laenor died off screen.
I thought Laenor died off screen! Thanks for the info 🙏
Jace is right about how people see dark haired Targaryens as less when in fact has nothing to do with that.
Seasmoke would NOT have gone looking for a new rider if Leonor was still alive.
Oh!!!! That’s a really good point. Good call
I am glad they give Nettle’s position to Rhaena’s, You can see she wants to be more useful for Rhaenyra because Lady Jayne Arryn was supposed to send 15,000 soldiers for the Black’s cause for large dragon with a rider for protection to the Vale, Rhaenyra send two but still hatchlings, so she wasn’t satisfied so Rhaena is determined to become Vale’s dragon by finding the dragon in the Vale (Sheepstealer) and tamed it, Then the Vale will finally send their soldiers for the Blacks just as Rhaenyra requested in their deal
Vermithor is the 2nd biggest dragon in the show currently right? Only vaghar is bigger.
Vermithor size was impressive, I can’t imagine Vhagar enclosed like that down there.
Lady Jane of the Vale Kept Joffrey as Ward and his dragon not the other or the eggs. They went to Pentos
I appreciate this info, I didn't pick up on that while I was watching. So lady Jane let the other 2 children leave?
Guys, I think you are maybe putting too much emphasis on Laenor's part in the future. Keeping Laenor alive is just the show's way of mot making Rhaenyra and Daemon into total monsters. They showed Laenor as a good father and a supportive husband, we liked him and thought he was a good partner to Rhaenyra (though he wasn't in the books, not as much anyway). Who would still be rooting for Team Black if we saw that Rhaenyra and Daemon had cold-bloodedly contracted his murder in his parents own hall during the gathering for his sister's funeral?? We would have HATED them, we'd have denounced her sons as bastards, and EVERYBODY would be rooting for the Greens.
Since this show centers around Alicent and Rhaenyra, the showrunners and the writers have to make changes (where they can) to make both Alicent and Rhaenyra the kind of characters the audience can empathize with instead of the heartless, scheming harpies of the books.
@@Skye_Writer Well, that makes a massive difference. Thank you for the info, him being a live probably isn’t crucial given what you just dropped in here. Thanks again 🙏
You guys are tripping, not Daemon.
Totally agree with you on that one we are definitely tripping! That’s without question
SPOILER ALERT
Vermithor and Silverwing turn team Green
💚
And do you happen to know if the son of the young Oscar Tully who we see in this episode end up being Hoster Tully who we briefly see the funeral of in the GoT series??
@@costco_pizza Holy crap how many times are you going to ask that question over several videos and ignore the people telling you no.
@@costco_pizzano, hoster wasn’t born for another 100 years or so.
@@dominiccastro6483 not really. ulf and hugh are team ulf and hugh, they were more hinderance than help to the greens
I think its his son or grandson. Im still trying to figure that out myself.
