You are a smart guy. I look forward to learning more stuff from your channel. Maybe long winded sometimes. But I can just add you to my sunday lineup where I just sit back and watch and learn from some channels. Mustie1 and Zeducation are some of the safer channels that don't disappoint. Although Zeducation seems like they are going to sell out any day and start telling us his pronouns.

Very interesting. Because the ball goes around the track at a constant speed, would it be possible to have both, or even more, balls in motion on the track? Would slight differences in mass cause them to move at different speeds relative to each other? What if there was a way to vary the voltage applied to the coils, would that affect the ball's speed?

Glencoe, I thought I said in this video that I had tried two balls and they gradually migrated until both were adjacent to each other; maybe I forgot to mention that.
Yes, differences in mass of balls will change their acceleration due to their inertia being inconsistent while the thrust from each coil is constant.

I found this very interesting. I'm curious if it would work hanging on the wall, or on an angled display stand.

garybrown, I tested my device in this regard. It would NOT start up in any position other than flat or nearly so. But if I got it started laying flat, waited for the ball to get up to full speed, THEN tipped the device up to about 45 degrees, it kept running, and indeed it would also keep running with the device fully vertical. If you could arrange one of these with a pivot, allowing it to be temporarily reoriented for starting, then I think the answer to your question is YES.

I don't know what this has to do with a cyclotron. A cyclotron has a magnetic field at right angles to the plane of the racetrack. And the moving particles are injected into a vacuum at the very center. And the particles spiral out from the center, gaining speed and momentum. Really nothing at all like this thing.

georgegonzalez, did you just read the video title but not watch it?
I say within the first two minutes that this is NOT a cyclotron, and that therefore I disagree with the name that the maker/Amazon seller has given this product.
In the video title, I enclose the product name in quotations; that is the product's name, but it is inaccurate.
