Other champs have the luxury to back off when they begin to make a mis-play, but Briar doesn't. You need to extremely confident and competent to play her correctly, because you can't mess up
as soon as briar was released my thoughts were "its just better tryndamere. i love tryndamere". and i was right. shes busted af. and the entire time people were crying about how bad briar was, i knew they just didnt understand her weaknesses and how to play around them. thanks for these tips. some of them ive figured out on my own, while others i never even thouught of but makes perfect sense.
Most people think that briar is braindead easy champ just because you don't need to autoattack by yourself But that's exactly opposite, she is harder than people think just because YOU CANT AUTOATTACK BY YOURSELF People need to release that frenzy is briar's weakness, not advantage
@@ethanlee4910 Every other champion gets bonuses on his abilities without weakness, except blitz with his slow on w You have to keep in mind that briar is not a champion without her W stats, so you basically always have to be in frenzy mode Wich is a huge weakness
@597 Right.... its such a weakness shes been in a 50%+ Winrate after about 4-5 nerfs now. A lot of champions have a niche to that they revolve around. All jokes aside. its a double edge sword. Its on a short cooldown, and can be managed very well once you understand the champion. More so that it turns to more of a strength over weakness. A champ that has a strong weakness, isnt viable for nearly half a year. MS, AS, Heal/Damage off missing HP, AoE. Is not something to scoff at. I have no issue with briar playing vs or with. And find her as a fun champ. But her self taunt is not JUST a weakness. All memes aside.

I don't see the point of complicating the "frenzy flash" when you could just have easily flashed over the wall and then W'd after the flash. You're also gaining distance from the dash this way. I don't understand the necessity of the second tip.
Yes I completely agree, 99.99% percent of times flash then W is always better then trying to W flash. Also flashing before the W dash ends, just cancels the dash. I dont think it is a useful tip
There's a few small to medium % gains and I'll explain them! Now lets talk consistency, if you were to do some of the tougher wall flashes (huge walls) 100 times, how many times would you get it? 80? 90? This way you start with W and can react to complete the play by flashing. The risk is a lot lower to try W a huge wall rather than just raw flashing it! Secondly, Flashing then W1 flat out takes longer so you give the enemy less time to react. Could be the difference between a kill and not! Sure, in MOST situations just flashing then W will get the job done but that doesn't mean it's perfect play!
@@L0ganJGs yeah I checked it out a few times, and its easier than I thought. So you are correct that makes sense. Getting closer to the enemy with the flash part can be better and also if W fails at least you didnt waste the flash. thanks, sorry for doubt

Looking forward to it.

Eh, its a doubled edge sword more than being a weakness. You still get bonuses for being under it and have the ability to cancel it via E

From these tip videos the two biggest tips are the q to allies and the range your w can travel through terrain.
Wow I just thought briar couldn’t defend towers. That too about Qing the minions is super helpful I feel so silly.

If you Q a minion, you will reprioritize once all the minions are gone!

She isnt a braindead champ but she could have some more mechanics just to not be fucked over by nerfs because of low elo 24/7
she gets nerfed every game that has a hard cc champ or a champ that might lose simply due to healing, so they purchase heal cut.
