- Software update 2021.4.18.10 dropped on 06/29/21 and it brings back few locked features with the new tesla model 3 and Y without radars. summon for FSD and emergency lane departure is back and the speed limit on auto steer bumped from 75 MPG to 80 MPH which is a welcoming change. The release notes only mentions about the minor bug fix and emergency lane departure but while reading through several posts I found put that there is a new animation screen update which can now detect cats and dogs and show on the animation screen. Also the sentry mode is said to be fixed but I have not noticed any major changes in my car on santery mode.

Yes, this update finally fixed my sentry mode.
Lol.. love the driver nags telling you to put the phone down lol. That’s the most amazing demonstration I’ve seen so far.
Ya It was funny but appreciate the feature so can keep the eyes on road also I need to invest in car holder and gopro for recording while driving
Have you experienced Phantom braking? Do you know if this update or previous fixed that?
Yes Phantom breaking is still a thing even without the radar and i have noticed more when you are getting over from a bridge or if there is a dip in the road, its kind of hard to explain but when i travelled from Indianapolis to Chicago and back in same day had at least 4 phantom breaking events before the update. I am planning to drive now for little longer starch on 65 and will let you know if i get any breaking event.
@@SSB Yes, would like to see if its improved, on a 300mile journey I did also got 3-4 phantoms - with no cars or trucks near me or in front of me.
Ya so I went for 35 mile drive and found the phantom breaking happened again on a patch of road near a rail road crossing
@@SSB For me the Phantom braking makes it too dangerous to use, people in Florida like to tailgate and if I get a phantom brake, they will ram into me, so will wait for this to be fixed.
