“I love you Dollydrops “ brought me to tears, my daughter is 5 here in New York, I pray she loves me like Bobby Moore daughter in later life, Thank you for sharing this documentary on my late father’s favorite West Ham player , all I remember is watching VHS 📼 as a kid with my dad of west ham , Liverpool Fulham and That smile of Bobby Moore , he had to be the best looking man ever, Golden smile he had , him and Sean Connery were the best looking guys in suits I’ve even seen , Rest Easy in heaven King Bobby , what a beautiful man, his daughter broke my heart, the poor thing had a spiritual bond with her Dad that is once in a lifetime!!!!
We don't get football captain like this anymore Even football players they do work themselves right off back then Should be like this for every team instead of pushing and grabbing each other
Thank you for sharing this video , Bobby Moore was my dads favorite, this brings back my childhood memories from Ireland, my dad when he was living in London used to go to The Boyleyn ground just to see Bobby!!! Thank you for sharing this fantastic documentary!!!
No defender ever timed his tackles better than Bobby Moore. He would take the ball away before you even made your move. Exquisite timing and technique, and he played the game as clean as a whistle.
At the 1998 World Cup the world’s football writers chose the greatest 11 players in their positions in the 20th Century. Bobby Moore was the only Englishman. Bobby was a great great player. RIP.
Im a NZer and proud Tottenham fan . I am the child of brit immigrants to NZ . I am also a big fan of the England football team. when I was a young lad our local football club Albany FC was started by 2 ex pat brits. the first player we were told about was Bobby Moore . Bobby was a sporting icon that was treated so badly by the English FA. The only world class player to ever play for England. There will never be another Bobby Moore !!
The greatest of all-time, the one who Pelé stated was the most dangerous player he ever had gone up against, and a gentleman/good friend AND teammate of Pelè in the U.S. A "brother" to Pelé. Both are seated on the Mt.Rushmore of greatest of all-time.
It really dawns on me how long ago it was that England won the WC when you see the queen. She looked so young. I’m not sure football has changed for the better, too much grandstanding and fake injuries has almost ruined it for me.
Harold Wilson used to watch Huddersfield Town every week in the 1920s before all the team were born, so he knew about football. The Devaluation of the Pound was 1967 - after the World Cup. I think he's talking out of his hat
At 1.25 Stephen Spraggs is the man laying flowers. I was with him & Bob Young on the night Bobby Passed outside the Upton Park gates until 2 in the morning.
Thank u for uploading this. I'm a huge fan of the 1966 world cup winning team. Can u upload more videos if that team & sir alf, please? Professor A.G.Hag
You know absolutely nothing about football or how great Bobby Moore was ….. Watch England v Brazil in the 1970 World Cup group game, then you may change your opinion………
@Lord_Hillcrest02 I would say if he had left West Ham say in 1970 I believe he still could have continued to be a high class defender, but many at West Ham began to suffer and that’s why Jimmy Greaves retired after the 1970-71 season because he did not want to be there and in later interviews he regretted retiring and not going to Derby County and working with Brian Clough. Bobby Moore had an opportunity to go to Man Utd ……. Sadly from 1974-1977 was with Fulham and his last appearance at Wembley in the 1975 FA cup final with Alan Mullary, I think he still had it in the 1970-71 season but he slowly began to fade and lost his England place in 1973 and began to decline. He was so wasted by the FA and it’s sad that he did radio commentary for £50 a time …… An outstanding world class defender and captain. a working class hero …..
The king today! Says I'd like to represent englands miad up football team of foreign players 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 even their managers are foreign 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 ! ?.the BRITISH fans would support the nazes if they were playing for England 😢. I stopped following sports decades ago when money became more important than the fans having a proper national borne Britain team! I remember when George Best cudante possibly played for the England team? And all sorts are following the same way! What the working miad popular the greedy rich came along and destroyed 🖕!?.

Captain, my Captain. What a man. What a hero. He was treated disgracefully by West Ham and England. They should be ashamed 😢
We don't get football captain like this anymore
Even football players they do work themselves right off back then
Should be like this for every team instead of pushing and grabbing each other
In the early 80s he and Harry Redknapp were thrown out of Upton Park for not having a matchday ticket.

Captain, my captain… beautiful.. it’s like that movie line was written for him 👍

I honestly thought he was overrated as a player especially post 1970 . But , he sounds like a great man .
where do you keep YOUR world cup winners medal ? 😂

@MarkMeade-e1y Mark I said post 1970 . He was magnificent against Brazil during that world cup . From 70 to 75 he was in a decline .
