On topic: I'm a beginner, and when I look at the cello playing, I see something very very technical. I always had the feeling that the measure should start with a down bow. Off topic: do you know if the NS Design WAV4 can be played using headphones? I couldn't really find much info about it.
You can buy a preamp or even a very cheap headphone amp that works with the wav4. (There are a lot of these for electric guitars. They differ in quality, of course, but they're usable.)
I'd like to research this school of bowing further. How do you spell the name of this school or can you provide links?

The CR series has a Headphone jack, not the WAV series, because of the active pickup.
My electric has a low f and a high e, Bach cello suite is one of many places it is helpful
