I’m not sure this is an Aprils Fool video. Most of it seemed 100% accurate to the real world.
Is it April Fools Day? I thought this was a real documentary. I also worry about Sam and his dressing up habits.
Whilst Sam’s silly videos are not personally to my taste it cannot be denied that they follow the great British tradition of taking the absolute mickey out of every single situation possible and aside from making the best UA-cam reviews for English model railways Sam excels himself in that great British tradition

Not only does it uplift the audience's mood, it does so for you too. Science has even proven this, they tell me. (Full marks for coming up with that as a research project and again for getting it fully funded!!!)
The practise of this is withering on the vine because of today's "lest we offend" mantra and needs a bloody good kick up the arse to umm... to reboot it.

These get weirder and weirder every year 😂 and yet somehow the more ridiculous they get they haven't gotten any less accurate. The most pain you can feel while laughing uncontrollably!

The overall quality of this full fledged comedy show is impressive.
I was quite surprised at the start of this, however I quickly became very impressed, Sam. So well done, subject matter was right on, excellent editing and effects, etc. Kudos to you and your staff for creating this instant classic. 👏👏👏

Honestly, I think Martin Martmartinson has knocked it out of the park with their Jubilee Range! I was particularly impressed with how the model's square wheels (truly an innovative feature) meant that it ran for a whopping 30 seconds! Such brilliant performance clearly justifies the £120,000 price tag, I don't know what those 'critics' were talking about.
I honestly can't wait to preorder my ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo models. The detail and quality on them is absolutely outstanding for their size and I cant wait to run then on my layout!

Two weeks ago I binge watched the whole of series 2 of Hornby a Model World while i was unwell- this was an absolutely fantastic parody of the whole thing!
14:49 the fact that it's on the side of a cattle truck makes it the more funnier 😆
For what's seemingly an innocuous model train review channel, our host has a surprisingly strong acting range in comedy.
I'm more of a train sim than model train person, but this could easily be about a company like Dovetail Games as well. Especially Dickie's last statement xD

The possibilities on the royal train are endless. Imagine how much more profit can be made once Dickie realises he can just change the colour and make it into a Charles III coronation set? (Available in time for the coronation of William V).
I will be sure to purchase an OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO scale class 47. It looks like a great and detailed model, and those Mk1s look like they have full interiors. Man, who knew you could fit that much detail in a tiny model.

Excellent. I haven't watched the Hornby train wreck but I can only imagine these parodies are uncannily reminiscent of certain people on the show.
Also that "jubilee" model is the perfect blend of hideously garish and quite lovely.

THIS IS WHAT I NEEEEEEEEDEEEEEEED O MY GOOOOD. God. This applies to all this industry, not only for the UK market. This is genius. I thought about ACME all the time. Who's ACME? An Italian H0 scale producer that has about 3 to 4 years delays on it's catalogue items. Some items are present in catalogues spawning from 2019 to 2023 and still didn't reach the market. When you buy something from ACME expect faulty or derailing wagons, if you buy a set of 3 passenger cars expect 3 separate headaches and have things fall off the models when opening the box. BUT HEY! They are the only ones that produce some highly detailed specific rolling stock pieces so people will buy, wouldn't they? :)

I'm not a model manifacturer, but this looks pretty accurate. Love the fact that the Heljan 136 aka "the most expensive paperweight in the world" is classified as vandalism.
I figured MMM would have taken it apart and cloned it; a perfect addition to their magnificent range.
