My dad owned a Harley shop in the 70s and 80s. This video is called “The You g Matador” and is narrated by William Conrad. I watched this hundreds of time. Harley had several videos and you watched them on a suitcase projector. Check out Daytona Bound 1978. This is a pretty good quality. Brings back great memories.
Here in York, PA....Springsteen is an icon...a living American legend. And a wonderful guy in person. Always has time to talk and enjoy the simple pleasures.
Thanks for sharing in 79 I was 17 lived in San Jose never missed a mile . Steve lived two blocks from us he got a black 1980 Ferrari 308 with plates Eklund 1 he also had a big dump truck and pulled a big backhoe he moved dirt in the off season rip
The rumor with the Springer was his nerves really ate him up reason for the stomach issues. The mind can really be horrible to a person Chris Carr, he was another H-D racer. Excellent rider and champion.

I enjoyed watching this video. The narrator sounded like William Conrad. Does anyone know if he is. Jay Springsteen is one of my all time favorites.
maby. Dave Despian ????
That was the 1975 Indy Mile. Roberts won on the TZ750 Yamaha. The footage is the same as on "Take It To The Limit" by Peter Starr.
I’m sure God sees to it every human soul experiences at least one life that is centered around motorcycle racing. There simply is nothing like it.
Yes, The Racer's Racer
