    Thank you , a great help, and an illustration of how VW like to make things as complicated as possible! I wonder if you save any money doing it yourself, after buying the special tools. The Ford Ecotech engine, also DOHC, is a delight to work on compared to the VW TSi. Pity that they replaced it wit the French, much more complicated engine, complete with 2 belts in oil!
    Well done, I`ve checked out your other videos, which are equally good. Could I suggest an introduction describing the job though?

    Could you please post a link to buy the blue tool to lock the camshafts.
    I am not able to find it in the Euro Car Parts web site.

      Can you support the engine from the bottom using a jack with a log ?or it must be supported from the top ?
