  • Dan and Charles from Gear Diary got their hands on a bottle of Bib & Tucker's new Double Char Bourbon. They decided to put it up against a sub-$20 bourbon and Bib & Tucker's 6-Year old offering.

I’ve tried both and def like the regular 6 year. Also like the viscosity of Bib and Tucker. Ice cube and it’s easy sippin. Find myself going back to it more and more. I paid a little over the price tag but was well worth it

I bought the 6 year and to your comments, it's hard to drink neat in my opinion. Much better shaken (straight up) but still don't like it nearly as much as other aged bourbons. Doesn't compare to most others I've tried or have in my bar (9 year, 10 year, etc). As for everyday drinking, I'd much rather drink traditional 3-4 year bourbon. And for sipping, something aged a bit longer.
