Thanks so much for tuning in as always, if you enjoyed the video, hitting the like button is an easy way to help support! 🙏
Always do
Nice hot tub on the new whip. Prob keep greenbacks alive for 10 days plus!!! Lol
Dude, your boat is absolutely PERFECT.. I LOVE IT.
You have captured the ability to be entertaining, interesting and relaxing all at the same time. Your boat is awesome dude. Way to go on the unique design!! As always, great content. Keep up the good work. 💯❤️🙏
haha well I like all those things! exactly how I'd like my life to be, thanks so much for coming along 🙏
As a person who has commercial mullet fished I for sure get the front console. A lot of guys where I’m from rig there boat’s the same way.
then you know!
When I first saw that new boat I immidiatly thought about old mullet skiffs.
Thank you for the video señor!!!❤😊 The boat is growing on me. You happy, i am happy!
haha love to hear it!
"it's not your boat, it doesn't bother me". Great response, loved it. Another great video brother!!!
haha
I hope you don't let people bother you. Your boat fits what you do and that's all that's important. I like the boat and understand why you built it like that. Great video.
haha I wish you knew how little it does, if you let peoples opinions upset you, you'll have a tough time on UA-cam. I do appreciate the positive feedback!
@@KeyWestWaterman good attitude
Hey man, I know the new 18 is rigged a lot different and heavier in the water than the 16 you had before, but I was just wondering if the stability on the 18 is better than the 16. Like my 16 a lot for here in FL, but getting older at 68, and the 16 is not as stable while fishing as I might like, my balance is not quite what it use to be, ha. Thanks, looks like you have a good thing going down in the keys for sure, enjoy.
Gotta love Will ! I love all of the spearing and underwater stuff you do however it’s cool to see you beating the mangroves with rod and reel from time to time.
glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Aaron for taking me & us into your magical fishing world! Truly appreciated!
thanks for coming along!
" ..but it's fine, it's not your boat, doesn't bother me"
-Mr. Waterman
😆
haha
Having the helm at the bow of the boat seems like a good idea to me for the area. Any storm, Cuban debris, or hidden shipwrecks could create a day ruining situation for the gheenoe.
not different than the old Gheenoe other than I can see it coming now.
You're the boys, Aaron and WIll. Love watching your content homie, I look forward to hitting a charter with ya.
thanks for watching!
First biggest most . Same deal
With my sons and fishing buddies. Biggest is the most coveted trophy, so congratulations Clams
haha been doing it since I was a kid! love it
Great video Aaron! Lol. Will. Just make sure everyone knows I caught the biggest fish. It’s great that your live well worked so well for you.
Thanks for sharing!!!
haha glad you enjoyed it!
My fishin' trips in the Keys as a kid always began with a stop at the bait shop for live shrimp. Our live well was just a box built into the raggedy boat we rented. If we caught a few keepers, we were happy. Your bait-catchin' and live well are quite an upgrade.
haha love that!
Turns out your a great boat builder, good on ya brother. Glad you love it, looks great.
Keep on keepin on...
thanks for watching!
I love that boat, it looks like a great setup for you and your needs!
its a blast!
Love the new boat , thanks buddy for sharing your videos
thanks so much! 🙏
I didn't see the boat reveal but man do I love that setup. Well done
stoked on it!
love the forward console, I hate sitting and driving on the flats
Good to see the new setup and it’s always great to see you and Will out together. Thanks for sharing!
🙏
Super bad ass. Fiberglass construction seems top end like the pools I am installing in Michigan but built in TN. Front driving column is genius. I like how you roll with contributing to the build. I respect you and how you roll. Do you man. Besides getting into mahi for one trip mangroves always got me fired up.
🙏 appreciate it!
Fun watching ! Appreciate it
glad you enjoyed it!
Super cool man! Keep the big pump! Bigger is better! 💁♂️🤣💁♂️👌👍👊🤭
🙏
I really am liking that rig more and more everytime i see you fishing in it. That is one nice baitwell you built and perfect for your needs.
haha it'll grow on ya I promise! thanks for coming along 🙏
Love the boat. It fits the mission perfectly.
🙏
Absolutely sick dude. FL is a culture, the Keys are a way of life.
def is!
Still, love the backyard fishing sometimes, real peaceful out there, loved your day guys!!!
never gets old
Space is precious on a boat getting the console out of the way by putting it in the front so you have more room to navigate was an excellent choice. I love to build it Looks great
indeed it is! love the set up!
Thanks for taking me along! Best, ~Stan
Glad you enjoyed it!
Idk about y’all but I’m LOVEN all this content the last few days normally I have to wait a week while going back and watching older vids.
Thanks Aron I know it’s hard work bubba. 👍🏽
haha love to hear it!
Just wanted to say iam from Maryland i enjoy watching your videos keep up the awesome work
love to hear that! 🙏
That baitwell is slick! Great video!
happy with it!
Your piloting station reminds me of the commercial fishing boats that were, and occasionally are today, common on the waters in the Stuart area. Enjoy.
yup they have their place! thanks for watching!
Nice trip captain
thank you!
I like this camera angle, putting it up there is working out great. You can get good video while being hands free. Seems like you are enjoying the new rig. thanks for bringing us along for the adventure.
still getting her figured out! but happy with it for sure.
Sweet boat and a great video yall both are so funny
haha thanks for watching!
The hell what other people feel about your boat! As long as it’s what you want, all power to you. My family in Big Pine, has a family boat for normal use and he has his seat up front too! For bully netting lobster it’s the best!!! Keep up the good work sir and as always thank you for brightening up my day with your vids!!!!
appreciate the positive feedback! thanks so much 🙏
Other day I was telling my buddy I want to build a gheenoe and now I come across this one, this things badass!
Awesome set up. The sound of the running water from the well drains is pretty soothing. Love these vids
haha I honestly like it
Was really fun towards the end...wished the end was the beginning.
haha right
All ya need is a couple Mangroves to make a fishwich''Oh well''
Thanks for watching!
Aloha, love the boat and the camaraderie!
glad you enjoyed the vid!
such an awesome new set up!!!!
Thank you!!
I use the same livewell and put a 8 inch stainless hinge for the lid, works great!
not a bad idea! appreciate the tip!
Instead of a tuna tower, you got a bait tower and that's awesome!
haha right!
Your videos are great. I grew up in North Miami and my parents had a home in Long Key in the town of Layton on Zane Grey Creek Drive. Unfortunately it is no longer in the family but I spent a lot of time down there growing up. My question is is your home insurable these days. Florida windstorm, flood etc. Great pleasant personality. Very enjoyable. I was an offshore sport fishing captain for years in North Miami. My boat was in Keystone Point Marina in North Miami.
love to hear you enjoy the vids and yea we are insured. but its not cheap
Great work on the live well.
🙏
Will winner winner chicken dinner. Nice day Aaron
Thanks for watching!
Awesome build on the new boat . I can't believe how well it sits with the 90 on it.also Would love to see you and Sam restore his Dad's super Gheenoe. I think it would be great content for your channel.
Thanks for the great Gheenoe content .
thank you! stoked with how it came out! I wish we had the time. so many great boats Harley made.
Fun being with you out on the water!!! Also, you do a great job helping your viewers with the expectations that it takes longer than we realize to get bait and find good fish. How you share your struggles, timeframes, and successes is really helpful!!! Why? Because we have slow days too and wonder what we are doing wrong. Haha
haha love to hear that! I'm just doing my best to keep it realistic! thanks so much for the positive feedback
I think that boat is set up perfect for what you are using it for.
🙏
Love the new boat AND the live well! :)
haha thank you!
Gotta say I’m sold on your new boat layout, was a little sceptical at first with the bow mounted console but after seeing the video with it on the plane I really get the practicality and it’s even aesthetically appealing 😊
haha i'm stoked with it, perfect for what we do
😂👏🏻👏🏻congrats, Will. I think the boat is super cool and, looks like there’s room for Madeleine, too so, perfect and efficient. Well done, Aaron.
haha def is! will got it done for sure, thanks as always!
I like the live well, and the boat,I think everything you did was really smart and practical
🙏
Enjoyed the show. Congrats on the baitwell! It’s a really nice boat, practical for what you’re doing. Looking forward to viewing your next show!
thanks so much!
That new boat is beautiful, driving it up front standing might look like a mullet boat Lol. But that set up for fishing the flats and seeing everything was a great idea for fishing the keys. Nice job
haha just like one, very happy with how it came out.
Wow! I love how you designed that live well. Very cool!
🙏🏻
Here in Louisiana, many of the commercial fisherman put the controls up on the bow, leaving the back for production purposes. We use welded aluminum boats which aren’t as pretty as yours but can take the abuse they see.
yea I see them quite a bit! love how it came out.
no nonsense fishing thanks good fun...
Glad you enjoyed it
My wife and I will be in key West in a few days would love to meet you as always keep up the great videos
i'm around the boat in the afternoons! hope yall have a great trip!
Such a sick setup!!!
love how it came out
These fishing vids are my favorite to watch
🙏
The new ship needs a name on her transome. Maybe us followers can throw some ideas. I suggest "Mind Drain". Twofold meaning...form came from draining your head, but when out in it, you ain't thinking of nothing but the what's in front of you.
haha I def should name it! appreciate it!
Will got the biggest fish🙌🏼good stuff
haha thanks for watching!
Love the boat!
me too! thanks for watching!
nice tank simple and practical
thanks!

Looking for bait for an hour....
That is just one of the reasons I only fish with lures. Keeping in mind, my catching "needs" are much less demanding than Aaron's.
I do like this live well. I like to cull fish..... So I can keep the best fish and release the others.
NOTHING is dying in that live well. I've had a 30-gallon well with a 500 gph pump. NOTHING ever died in it. I've had 10 trout and two reds swimming just fine.
Awesome boat!
Great video!
Glad you liked it!
Kudos on the new boat! What works for you man! Looks great and good idea with the live well, looks like it’s going to work out for you
stoke about it!
If you put the outlet hose at the bottom of the livewell you wouldn't need two outlets at the top. It's about water pressure. You can regulate the outflow with an adjustable valve. It's still awesome thought. Love the steering up front.
then it would be draining into the boat, I had to raise them to get it over the rails.
Yes. You are correct. That is why you are.......Aaron Young!
Great content as always. Just want to say, Will caught the biggest fish :)
haha he surely did
Great video as always. Wohooo Will 🎉 lol finally got biggest fish 😂
haha
New rig is sweet ! Would love to see a Tuna video.
love how it came out! and we will be after them when they get thick in the winter!
Fed console makes sense for what you wanted.
🙏
Hannibal Smith: “I love it when a plan comes together!” No dead baits in 5 hours, in June, is awesome! It’s really a great design and I like that it can be removed. One thing I would add, just my own opinion, would be a latch or some kind of leash for the live well cover. Objects on boats that aren’t attached have a way of going MIA. I’d hate to lose that cover blasting across the flats, even though it’s recessed into the top of the well. Murphy is always a stowaway on my boat.😂 Good luck on your next trip!
haha not a terrible idea! def still have some mods to do!
It's much harder to sight fish and navigate from a sitting position. I dig the new setup and it will serve its purpose for you. Fish on and stay safe 🤘
indeed! thanks so much
Nothing better to watch at 12PM 🔥
🙏
Love the content! New Subscriber! Been watching for a while!!! Thanks for dropping the knowledge 💎 in the videos!!!
love to hear it! welcome to the channel 🙏
Happy to see the boat is shaking out. I must admit that I would do a double take if I saw a guy driving from the front. But if it works, amen! Gheenoes are super boats, I have one in New Hampshire, you should see the looks I get trolling for lake trout from a 'canoe'.
haha def not something you see every day. glad you enjoyed it!
I agree, function is the most important. Doesn't matter if it looks unconventional.
🙏
Always enjoy your videos, they are awesome! Thank you!
Glad you like them!
I think the simple live well is by far better than trying to get fancy. As for people questioning the helm placement, why do they care??? Like building a pool and a neighbor asks why you didn’t use green tile instead of blue. Loving the new baby boat.
😂 seriously though. makes me laugh.
good evening guys!..
thanks for tuning in!
i really love the layout man, its just so unique
love how it came out for sure!
I have officially watched every video on your channel. Thank you for teaching me so much. I just started spear fishing with a pole spear going after Mangroves in the Stuart area. I am getting there slowly. If you ever want to forge a knife or go fossil hunting I would be glad to teach or take you. That is what my channel is about. However, you are the guy. Your lifestyle is what I want so bad. I will be at Cudjo key for the week before and during mini season. I hope I run into you. I will definitely be spearing mangroves that week and cannot wait.
can't thank you enough for that, and its what its all about for me. Learning. I love every second of it, the unknown, the lessons. good and bad. I really do appreciate the offer! I started 10 years ago as someone who wanted a different life. today I do exactly what I want everyday. it's possible just takes a bit of time. best of luck to you.
I have those quick connects on my Wakesetter rear Ballast Bags.
they are sweet!
Love a good snapper video. Thanks Aaron.
thanks so much!
Love these snapper trips!
🙏
Looks like Will’s getting chauffeured in an amphibious Stutz Bearcat!
haha
Mush!
@@CookingWithClams Haha! Love your channel too, Will!
What i was thinking. Will did a Jedi mind trick.
Nice video! I need more Warbaits in my life
Glad you enjoyed it!
I love people having negative comments to say about it well people I think that's why they call it a custom-built but if you ever did one a little support up there you could put one of those single pole drop-ins like on the bass boats and as far as you saying you're not going to go out and Heavy Seas I've been to the Keys enough time to know you can be in a flat calm next thing you know it's turned a night and it's dropping Rain by The Bucket
its the internet I don't let it bother me! haha thanks for tuning in
I would maybe consider making the live well drains a little longer and closer to the water so it’s not so loud, love the boat and channel man. Keep up the awesome work!!!
I enjoy the sound honestly, and any longer and they will splash the person in the back pretty bad on starboard turns
setup is sick and exactly what you need for the keys, some seadeck would be all that's needed
yea I've considered adding some but we will see
@@KeyWestWaterman not only will it help out with the knees but it’ll keep that banging of the cast net leads to a minimum, I have it on mine and I’ll never go back 😂
Thanks for the videos man! They are awesome!
🙏
What a beauty rig
🙏
You keep him busy I’ll catch some snappers 😂
haha
I loved the line when I heard it,,, lol
Only way to catch any fish when Aarons got a line in the water
Try slip corks 3"-4" you can set your depth. Get a small rubber band cut it tie a knot around your line snip the excess split shot and a hook. That way you can leave it in the same strike zone longer , you can surf it with current. Just a suggestion. Keep up the good work 🤙
thanks for the tip!
Fine job Will 😂
haha crushed it!
