I can not thank you enough for the inspiration you give to people, I am 67 years young, , can’t even draw a stick man, watching your videos have spoken to me, just try June, which I have done, and I am really liking this, no my pictures don’t look any where near as brilliant as yours but, I never thought I could paint a thing, and you have taught me I can, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
... your gentle voice, the thoughtful hesitations, soft colors placed here and there...and then the line work...and the gold. Wow. I was an art major 60 plus years ago, am married to an amazing man who is an artist, had an art gallery for several years, and dabble at watercolor. So glad I found you, your art and your video presentations. Thank you.
I know a lot of people say that you have a natural talent but I am sure that added to this natural talent is a LOT OF HARD WORK AND PRACTICE. I love your videosin which you share your art with us I can see your thought process in the hesitation when you are placing your brush. BTW I love the big brush you are using in this video. its' so lush and full and carries so much paint .*swoon*
So beautiful! Don’t ever regret not having a formal art education - your colour mixing & composition are wonderful, you just have a natural ability that can’t be taught in any college.
There is no favourite between the two. The favourite are you - BECAUSE - your soft and patient way to bring any of your little artworks to the most beautiful result motivates me, me who has years of artistic experience behind me, motivates me to just getting installed, grap a brush and the time it takes to work at your side just as if you where this friend that I always wanted sharing my passion. Your neet workplace with just the very few things required at that moment makes me feel good. Thank you dearest Ceecee
I have been following you for about 6 months now I have done some e of your paintings and made them my own. I love listening to your voice and music whilst watching you work . So natural and flowing
You have a talent that far exceeds any need for "formal" training. Your work is intricate and beautiful. I find myself lost in your videos. Thank you for sharing your talents.
I’ve been to art school and let me tell you that you’re not missing out on anything. If you’re interested in color theory, just print out and laminate the color theory wheel and put it right by your art area. Then UA-cam a couple of videos and buy a color theory book. You’ll learn more with those things than taking the actual class and you’ll save thousands of dollars, trust me. You are more creative and more capable than you think. Most professors aren’t even knowledgeable about the stuff they teach. I had a Digital illustration professor that slipped out and accidentally told me she had only been working Digital for a year. She only knew the basics and was still learning by watching UA-cam videos WHILE teaching a class. So basically, don’t live with regrets. You are saving yourself from dealing with so much nonsense and you get to create what you love and makes you happy now. THAT is art. And thank you for this tutorial. It’s beautiful. I am definitely going to try my own take on it.
I agree with you. I remember being asked to teach a subject that was new to me. The College's told me that I would still know more than the student - I was disgusted at their attitude but it is all too common.
I never went to art school, and had a typesetting and graphic design business for 35 years. Most of what I learned, I learned through books and from working with other designers. You are very inspiring and you really help me to look at things outside my box.
Your art is wonderful, and does everything you intend it to do. Every week I watch for your new video to appear on youtube and always find it inspiring. I have a degree in art, believe me that is not a necessity to making great art. You already do that. As far as color theory goes, there are some great youtube videos for that. I find them posted from many artists and watch them all because I find everyone has a different idea about mixing colors and I learn something new from each and every one of them. As long as it makes you happy, keep doing what you do. It makes my heart happy to see you create.
I am not able to decide for one which is more beautiful. Both are so elegant, delicate and beautifully composed. I really love your videos. They do not only teach me so much, they fill me up with some kind of approaching painting and doodling with a certain type of ease, what I often missed in my life, but what is inside me, too often still hidden. Thank you so much.
Frankly, I don’t have a favorite. I prefer brighter colors but the style you have is unique and wonderful. I simply take these ideas and then adapt them to the colors that speak to me. I must say however, you have given me a new appreciation for Payne’s grey and it is just a fabulous and versatile color! The Kremer, pigments........ the bomb! Thank you for those wonderful suggestions Hugs, ClaudiaSJI.
Another beautiful creation. I loved the graphite in the painting for its softness, sort of a reverse technique of putting that element in after you set in your colors.
Thank you, Ceecee, for sharing your creative process with us. I find that very inspiring. I also love the Gavin Luke music it's so soothing. Joined together - a perfect chill out time. Thank you.
Beautiful! Sometimes a formal art education limits freedom. Self taught allows us to create accidents which many times turns out to be our own unique style.
Thank you so very much! Your mission to make people more creative is accomplished, at least in my case. I do love all of your art and I do love the way you speak about it.
When I first saw the image prior to watching the video I never noticed that you had not done specific outlines around each flower, I feel this is just as effective as your other one, thank you, art school or not what you do is amazing as well as inspiring for those of us who also have not had any major lessons in art xx
Both are lovely....self taught artists have a visually intuitive artistic brain that doesn’t come out of formal training but sometimes can be enhanced by it...artists tend to visually know the elements & principles of art intuitively
I LOVED David Cassidy too. I can't believe you learned English through him, but that is so cool. You are a DEAR for allowing us to watch you create and giving us such inspiration. Every time I watch, I go paint and doodle. You are The Best CeeCee!
I am 60 years old now, and I am at the last year of the high school (graduate) university of painting in Lisbon/Portugal. I went there with 57 years old ( at 2017), and I am loving it. It is never too late to went to sckool and learn what you realy like. I loved Partridge Family too and David Cassidy was my idol. I have all the records of him, still today at my home. I was devastated when I knew he passed away. Kisses
There are so many great ways to learn art. I didn't go to art school either and I am a perpetual learner. I havent been at it but just a few years and I love to learn. Thank you for sharing your art. Expressionistic art is my favoirte way to paint..
Hi CeeCee, thank you for yet another spectacular painting. I absolutely love your work. You have a talent that most can only dream of. Never doubt yourself. You are an amazing artist. I only started watching your videos since May this year during lockdown which is still in place in South Africa (since 27 March). You are the real deal and a truly caring person. The world is a better place because of you. Keep it up!
J’aime beaucoup ce que vous faites. Je découvre le doodling et c’est inspirant de regarder vos vidéos et relaxant d’entendre votre voix. Je suis de Montréal aussi. Merci
Wow! The color is mysterious and so pretty. It's watercolor, so it feels clear and clean. You are watching the work well. Please upload a lot of pretty pictures. It's difficult to draw, but it's easy to see and fun~
Hi CeeCee! I can't choose between the two paintings.. I like them both equally.. they're just beautiful! I'm definitely going to try to do something like this. Thanks!
Self learning is obviously your thing ... sooo impressive Your's is my fav YT channel because, apart from compelling viewing, they always encapsulate learning opportunities. Thank you sooo much for all your hard work & generosity ❤
Both are absolutely stunning! I really enjoyed you create in doodling, and you created something beautiful! My favorite is the one with reddish flowers, and I love the vase! I love the color red, that is why I chose the one with reddish flowers. You are a great artist! Thank you for your wonderful work.
Your art work is simply amazing and whilst you make it look so easy, its clearly not :). you have a beautiful style and a very soothing voice - a lovely watch on a lazy Sunday, thank you.
I just adore your style of art ! And the music is lovely also. I looked back in my daily journals, do you know I only discovered your videos late in April this year? I feel like I've known you forever..... so thanks for the inspiration!!!
Your art is beautiful. I love both of the vases. You are a true inspiration. I went to art college and learned how to draw but I was never taught about painting! I have taught myself over the years but have struggled to have confidence in my approach as art teachers frown upon tight work. Now that I’m 69 I can finally relax and do what makes me happy. You, along with other artists have made this possible.🥰 Thank you 🙏 so much X
Maureen Daunt Do what you are drawn to! I had teachers telling me not to do this or that. When I did this or that, it was my best work! Follow your internal inspiration...
I only discovered you recently but I'm working my way through all your awesome videos. Honestly, your work is breathtaking. I've been doodling with watercolours for a long time but never on this level, and you are inspiring me to try tools and techniques I've never even considered before. Thank you so much for helping me to find my mojo again!
I love your painting from last time. Having the flowers different is what gives it a look of nature. Nothing is the same and that's what makes it all beautiful. So if a flower needs an outline to give it definition in your opinion then go ahead and do it. Just let your doodling flow. Thanks for answering questions. I learnt some stuff from your answers.
Thanks for all these great videos of lovely doodles with soothing background music. I was a fan of the Partridge family and other shows like Flipper or Bonanza, or Tammy the girl who lived with her grandfather on a houseboat and David Cassidy too. Ah I just realize that Mark Hamil, Luke Skywalker of Star Wars has also these beautiful eyes. Of course I'm a Star Wars Fan.
Well your mission has been accomplished with me ❤ I never ever EVERRRR thought I'd get into painting, certainly not Watercolours, and you, specifically and only you, are the one who has inspired me and enabled me to begin this journey. Thank you so much for what you do, and how you do it all ❤
Fellow Partridge Family fan here 🤚🏻It’s so funny that that’s how you learned English! 😂 I’ve heard from many people I’ve met while traveling that they watched American shows to learn English, and I was advised to watch Telenovas when I wanted to learn to speak Spanish. Thanks for sharing your talents with us - I hope I get a chance to meet you sometime when I’m up in Canada for business (someday!). Have a wonderful week, Steph
Amazing how you learned English............not sure I could ever learn French............well done. I love the colors you chose and I don't think I would have ever tried that :). Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I like the sense of decoration of your work. It is very good and beautiful. It is also very clear to see your drawing process. Thank you for sharing! 👍!
Thankyou Thankyou! I was in a real slump for over a year 😔. I was browsing on UA-cam and your work caught my eye. You were very instrumental in helping(98%) me become motivated again and renew my love for creating through painting! I’ve watched almost every video and have done my own paintings from your teaching! I can’t Thankyou enough! Your work is beautiful! Mine is not even close but I love it and will keep painting!! ❤️😊
You asked which we liked the best...frankly I like the first one better, not bc of the doodles, but bc of the colors and it has more contrast in the values. I like the second bc it has a different feel. But I love the colors in number one. I love your channel and love watching you create paintings from start to finish. Thank you for listing your supplies...that's really helpful ! 😘💕😘💕
Both of these are so gorgeous and it's hard to choose between them. Today's is my favorite for two reasons.....the blue color and that the flowers were not outlined! Your art is uniquely you!
Love your videos! Just happened upon them a little while ago! I live not too far from you, in Baie D'Urfe. I also LOVED David Cassidy and the Partridge Family! Learning a lot from your videos about painting with water colours. Art journaling is keeping me sane during this pandemic. Thank you.
Ceecee i so enjoy your voice it’s soothing and even if I’m not doing the same doodle I relax to the music and my new joy in painting. Doodling has freed me up to not strive for perfection which I have never achieved and still just have fun. Thnx Marcia b
Thank you, CeeCee. I took three years of French in high school, it was my major and on my NY State Regents Exams I scored 95 out of 100...but regrettably, I never used it. I wish I had. I love that you are self-taught and I appreciate you sharing here. You do give me inspiration. Merci beaucoup. (PS: i had a huge crush on David Cassidy, too 😍!!)
Hello fellow NYS regents taker I took french for just 2yrs in highschool but also 2yrs in college and yes Friday nites was totally saved for David Cassidy 👍😊
They’re both just gorgeous, would look fabulous framed side by side on your wall. I’m always attracted to the earth reds as my preference, with the black vase. Those would be amazing as prints to buy ❤️
Hi Cee Cee, thank you sooo much for such a beautiful video as always. It was wonderful hearing all your answers. I love it when you talk in your videos, you have such a wonderful sparkle within which shines through in your voice and of course in your art. It is amazing that your native language is actually French and that you learned English later on. You speak English so well, just like a native speaker and your English accent is just beautiful. I love both paintings, they are gorgeous, but my favourite is the blue one you did in this video. Thank you so much again for sharing your beautiful art and inspiration.
I had a go at this after watching your video. Obviously not as good as yours but am quite pleased with it after 7 attempts. Love your style and am watching all videos.
thanks so much for this beautiful tutorial, I recently subscribed and love your style and talent, such beautiful results Im totally amazed at the end results
So beautiful! I just found your channel. I am also self taught and I do realistic acrylic on canvas. I need to step out of my box and I just love this. I recognize a french Canadian accent. My parents are both from Quebec, I'm first generation born Albertan.
Oh Ceecee! You are so good /precise with your drawing..i am in kindergarten in comparison with you!!! I am wishing so much to be more refined in my technique..sometimes i think that you are just a much better artist than i am..... Don't worry i will not stop doing art because of this...it brings me too much pleasure!✌💜🤹♀️

So beautiful! Don’t ever regret not having a formal art education - your colour mixing & composition are wonderful, you just have a natural ability that can’t be taught in any college.
Lovely to watch you painting and answering questions as well .😊😅

Your eye for color and composition, plus your skill with the brush, amazes me!! I try to copy, but it's nothing as pleasing to the eye as yours!

I admire the way you used the dots and the gold rim to define the vase coloured flowers. They’re both beautiful pieces!
Wonderful as ever! I can't decide which of the two is the best, I love both flower vases! Thank you for sharing 💙
You have made my year. The year has been so much easier because of you. God bless you. Mary
Thank you, Ceecee, for sharing your creative process with us. I find that very inspiring. I also love the Gavin Luke music it's so soothing. Joined together - a perfect chill out time. Thank you.
Love it Ceecee! You are truly an inspiration and the reason I have ventured into watercolor. Thank you.
Beautiful! Sometimes a formal art education limits freedom. Self taught allows us to create accidents which many times turns out to be our own unique style.
These are stunning, CeeCee. Thank you!
thank you. Glad you liked the video!
Thank you so very much! Your mission to make people more creative is accomplished, at least in my case. I do love all of your art and I do love the way you speak about it.

I love this composition. Thank you for sharing your art.

Both are lovely but I gravitate to the left one as my favorite. Thanks for another wonderful video, Ceecee. Thanks for sharing.
Oh my! David Cassidy fan here, too! Too funny. The Partridge Family was one of my very first albums. Got it for Christmas when I was 8 or 9!
Your art is so beautiful and inspiring. Thank you for sharing

Wonderful!
So enjoyed your paintings ...thank you Cece.
The granulating paints are really lovely texturally.
You are so sweet; I enjoy your stories about your life. Thank you for all you do. I love the music and I appreciate your every effort....

Beautiful 🙂
Yesterday painted similar in neutral colours, looks amazing in blues as well 🙂❤👍
Wow! The color is mysterious and so pretty. It's watercolor, so it feels clear and clean. You are watching the work well. Please upload a lot of pretty pictures. It's difficult to draw, but it's easy to see and fun~

Your art work is simply amazing and whilst you make it look so easy, its clearly not :). you have a beautiful style and a very soothing voice - a lovely watch on a lazy Sunday, thank you.
Relaxing isn’t it, watching her
Thank you so much 😀
Thanks so much for what you share. Hearing your choices and chatter makes this creative type more comfortable in her own skin.
Both your paintings are very beautiful. My favorite is this week's painting. Love the softeness and I love that you didn't draw around the flowers.
Wish I had your ability 😔. I can’t tell you how absolutely breath taking your work is to me 👍🌻💯
Absolutely am inspired by your paintings.
I just adore your style of art ! And the music is lovely also. I looked back in my daily journals, do you know I only discovered your videos late in April this year? I feel like I've known you forever..... so thanks for the inspiration!!!
Amazing piece of art
Your art is beautiful. I love both of the vases. You are a true inspiration. I went to art college and learned how to draw but I was never taught about painting! I have taught myself over the years but have struggled to have confidence in my approach as art teachers frown upon tight work. Now that I’m 69 I can finally relax and do what makes me happy. Maureen Daunt Do what you are drawn to! I had teachers telling me not to do this or that. When I did this or that, it was my best work! Follow your internal inspiration...
Wow! I am thrilled to have found you! Such talent. Love your style!
I only discovered you recently but I'm working my way through all your awesome videos. Honestly, your work is breathtaking. Superb. And that voice! SO relaxing I fell asleep. Thank goodness for rewind

Terrific!! Will be looking for the posca markers. Never heard of them. Great composition.
Both stunning. But the blue one captures my heart!
Well your mission has been accomplished with me ❤

I agree with everything already stated..I am loving learning from you..you exude confidence and freedom of colour and form.
Beautiful. Both of them! Thank you 🌺
Absolutely beautiful! I love your tutorials xx
Amazing how you learned English............not sure I could ever learn French............well done. I love the colors you chose and I don't think I would have ever tried that :). Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Love your work and I really don’t love abstract but I do love watercolor and pen together.
Ohhh another David Cassidy fan, how nice! Great times! 😅😂🎶🥰
Loving your art! Thank you! 🤩😍

I love your negative space doodling techniques, you have a wonderful style, I love it
They’re both just gorgeous, would look fabulous framed side by side on your wall. I’m always attracted to the earth reds as my preference, with the black vase. Those would be amazing as prints to buy ❤️
Mention of the Partridge family brought back happy memories. Thank you. Your videos are very encouraging and peaceful.

I had a go at this after watching your video. Obviously not as good as yours but am quite pleased with it after 7 attempts. Love your style and am watching all videos.
Thank you that was really beautiful and very inspiring.

I cannot possibly choose one over the other. They are so different yet so Ceecee. Absolutely beautiful.
Love your fun fact about how you learned English. Your creations are lovely.
So beautiful! I just found your channel. I am also self taught and I do realistic acrylic on canvas. I need to step out of my box and I just love this. I recognize a french Canadian accent. My parents are both from Quebec, I'm first generation born Albertan.
Absolutely lovely. Thank you.
Oh Ceecee!
You are so good /precise with your drawing..i am in kindergarten in comparison with you!!! I am wishing so much to be more refined in my technique..sometimes i think that you are just a much better artist than i am.....
