I'm a lamp/natural light girl. It just seems more calming. When my husband lived with us he was a big light guy like your husband.
My kids will be 20, 18, 14, 12, 10 & 8. I will have 2 adults! I still just cant comprehend it! I swear I just became a Mamma yesterday! It goes SO fast!

I’m such a lamp girl too I have lamps all over my house 😂 my over head lights are so bright I try to avoid using them! I also do my home refresh on Mondays too after the weekend it’s nice to get a fresh start. Loving all the vlogs!!! I hope and pray that bullying situation gets resolved! That’s something I’m big on with my kids teaching them about not to be a bully and to let me know if they are being bullied, it’s something I’m always worried about 🙏
I'll stand up so fast for my kids when they start saying something happened in class that seems wrong. A boy was hitting my child. The principle is handling it.

As much as I love the big two story homes with big garages, outdoor kitchens, etc etc. it is nice to follow someone without a walk in pantry or a bonus room. Yes!! I have the skip hop bath toy bucket. Its a plastic bucket that has holes in the bottom and it sits on a tray. So the water can drip down onto the tray and i dont have to wait for things to dry. I store it under my sink. Its a great size too, stops thr bath toys from getting out of hand lol

Marie, you can get washable shower liners at most houseware stores. They are more like fabric and not the harder plastic.
I have a fabric shower curtain but a plastic liner. I just throw it away after a few months. I'll look into fabric liners. Thank you!!

I am a lamp girl as well, and the dimmer the better, unless I'm doing needle work or writing. My husband, wants airport lighting, with every room lit to capacity. to be fair he has very bad eyesight, and I have very light sensitive eyes. the compromise has become lamps in very nook and cranny, but rarely overhead lights. I hate them, with the exception of the bathroom, we installed under cabinet lights in the kitchen to avoid the ceiling light. Of course as we age our eyes continue their path to extremes. Such fun! lol.
I wonder if our issue is that my eyes are sensitive and his have bad eyesight. That could be why!

Yes! I love crockpot recipes for the same reason! I honestly NEVER feel like cooking dinner at 5pm.
If I wait until after 5pm, I get more and more tired so I try to eat by 5-5:30 before I completely lose all energy. 😅

We do the same thing with bottles of water and putting the initials on the lids! If we didn’t, my son would waste so many water bottles!!! Lol! Great video!!🩷🩷
We had so many waters on the counter and no one ever knew who's they were, so I decided to start the initial trick about a year or two ago. It has definitely helped.
I only have one lamp in the living room on unless I'm reading or doing paperwork. I hate brightly lit rooms. If you put a damp paper towel under your cutting board, it won't slide around. You know, when I was 31 years old, I didn't have things together nowhere near as well as yours is, and I only had one kid. Lol.

We have been getting to the point where we don’t have just bath toys my son brings a couple monster trucks my daughter brings a Barbie mermaid and then they leave the bath with them
Before that we did a plastic container that I had drilled holes in for water to drain and I left it in the tub easy to clean 😊
