We live in Jersey - we have six flags literally 10 min from us! We love holiday in the park! They do an amazing job!!!! How fun!
Love it. When my kiddos were little we baked and decorated cookies together. Miss it so much, but hopefully I’ll be a grandma and I’ll be able to start again. I usually just bake by myself. Still enjoy it. We used to do the gingerbread house on Xmas eve just to keep them busy for a little bit. They would be so excited for Santa to come that night. Merry Christmas to you and your family
I couldn't help but laugh when you were trying to figure out how the painting went. Lol. Brings back memories. I have one more Amazon package coming tomorrow, and then I'm done shopping. Except for groceries. I always loved going to school when my son was in elementary school for his programs and his parties. One year while they sang a Christmas carol, they were doing sign language. I had no idea he could do that. Needless to say, I was a bit teary-eyed. You all did a cute job with the house and cookies. Merry Christmas🎄❤️

Hey Friend, Happy Thursday. I love your earrings and the kids painting, all three are so cute. ❤ I always enjoy going to Cracker Barrel or another restaurant around Christmas time for breakfast it’s a tradition for me that I started in 2021. I love how your kids want to help you bake cookies that’s such a great family tradition. I used to help my mom bake cookies when I was a kid as well and I still help her on holidays. We make Christmas cutouts with our own homemade cookie dough we got the recipe from my grandma Rachel who passed in 1997. ❤

So you need to make your own cookie dough if you don’t want them to spread. It should not matter how thin or thick you roll your dough . There are a lot of recipes on Pinterest for non-spreading sugar cookie dough, and they’re not hard to make. The kind that you used is meant to just be cut off the roll, baked and eaten.
