Remastered definitely but if they did want to expand on the story they should do a story about his death and end the game playing as Miles since it’s the ultimate version of spider-man. That was they could do DLC missions with miles connected to the comics.

Best Spider-Man game without a shadow of a doubt! It was the first video game I have ever played. And even after all those years, It's still my best of the best... Nothing can come closer to this masterpiece. I feel a deep nostalgia for it but still find it amazing just like the first time I started playing it.

I still remember, I was a kid, maybe 10-12 years old when I used to play this, used to turn on my potato pc (which I still have) after school and my mom had allowed us to only play for an hour, each time we would ask her to let us play for 5 mins more, and cause of this, birthdays were more special, cause on your birthday you would get to play for 2 hours. Today I could play this game in one go and can play for hours, but no joy would compete with that 1hr I used to have daily, only waiting for tomorrow. It was so much fun, I didn't knew anything back then, how to play or what to do, all I used to do was swing around the city and be SPIDERMAN. My brother used to do all the hard stuff for me, and I was so scared of venom that I used to run from him in the prologue. There was also a race with Human torch which I used to loose every time, it was so frustrating. As of today, I've completed marvels Spiderman, but no game could and will not compete with the memories I've of this game.

I would like to see how we would fight against Kraven, Doctor Doom (his embassy is in the game, and also the Beetle probably worked for him, stealing Osborn from the shield), Hobgoblin, Fisk, Scorpion, Morbius, I would also like to see other heroes like Strange, X-Men, Blade, etc.

Gotta give massive props to the devs, they were given such a tiny tiny budget and such little time (something crazy like 7 months), sure this is clearly not an AAA game but it wasnt supposed to be, the amount of quality, fun and soul they poured into this game made it an instant classic, now we're almost 20 years past it's launch and even though you can see some clear aging, the core of the game is still beautiful, this is fundamentally a love letter to comic book fans, this wasn't made for mass consumption, one of the very few times that comic book fans got a game made for them, that's why i want to celebrate this game. *Long live Ultimate Spider-Man!*

Man, we're built different nowadays. Imagine if Spider-man 2 comes out in October, and they don't ever once let us in the black suit, relegating it to a montage of cutscenes where we lose it and then immediately start w/ a fight against Venom.
The difference there is that this was a tie in to a comic, where that story had already been told. Insomniac's version is original, and that story hasn't been told yet.
This is the best spider man game, spider man is way better and more likable here than the new one and there are lots of characters and memorable moments on this game.
This was one of the first Spider-man games (and games in general) I ever owned. To this day wish they made a sequel based off the Ultimate comics. Hell, as much as people complain I'd wish they'd do a remake. I've seen some mods of the Spiderman PS5 in this style and, with some polish, it wouldn't look half bad.

Imo Edge of Time is also very iconic and extremely underrated. It has one of the best stories out of all the Spidey-Games

The game compliments the comic books, so the graphics can never really get old. It was an awesome move.
