But for the best results, you do have to put in the effort of initiating every interaction, asking them out and so on, because most women don't want to do those things, and they don't have to. Also, a lot of women know their worth so if they are a bit below average and they see a really hot guy, they might feel insecure and be too afraid to talk to him. There are guys who think that if a woman doesn't show you signals that she is interested before you talk to her, that she is not interested but that is not necessarily true. The only way to know for sure is to talk to them and ask them out. However, one thing you don't have to do is try to win them over with money. Where I live, women will often split the bill and it's not because they expect us to stop them, but because they like to be financially independent. That does not mean that they won't try to screw you over during a divorce, but for dates and other spending, they don't expect you to invest more than her. So, in the end, the only thing you have to invest in more is your effort. Most women won't make an effort to approach, so guys who are expecting women to do everything will often end up alone for many years or for life.

Now I know that the only effective way is the pickup artist method of going out to where to hot women are, approach them and hit on them to get numbers, which leads to dates which leads to sex, which leads to relationships. The one trap you have to avoid falling into though is obsessing over what to say, because it has no impact on your results.
