I have that cam with a D&D billet cat. I enjoy it. The idle is great. I do seem to have some reversion noise at lower rpms and was curious if that is something you guys experienced as well? Thanks for the video.
That torque dip early on is what i hate with these cams on a m8. Seems like they all do it . I had an ultra limited stage 2 that also would lose power before 3k rpms.
No, they are really nice pipes but short pipes in general tend to have that torque dip. Not all cams, pipes and air cleaners work together great all the time. We’ve had great results with HPI pipes in other combos but it just work as well on this setup.
@@TuckerSpeed477 You don't understand what I said? I don't want to hear ANY music. get it? The reason to come to a video about Harleys or cars is to hear the Harleys and cars not music
@@TuckerSpeed477 I'm not angry at all, just disappointed that you think music is a must to a Harley dyno video. Don't worry I won't be watching your videos any more. What is it, you take a class before making utoob videos and some hipster millenial tells you you have to have music to make it cool? Hahahaha
I find it laughable people are worried about "peak" numbers, when they ride in the 2500-4000 rpm range.😅
Enjoy your videos!
Very true. Thanks for watching!
Sorry but hot rodders always love peek numbers but you don't see me driving down the road at 7500 rpms
@@martamus65 LOL, no bench racers love "peak" numbers. Hot Rodders/Racers make the power usable. Between bikes and trucks, I got 80-85 dyno pulls
@@01Lightning NO THEY BUILD THE ENGINE AND THEN MAKE EVERYTHING WORK AROUND IT
When you see bike is capable of good power everywhere but the limitation is exhaust it has to go for another pipe that hits hard everywhere.

The 22XE seems to make better torque down low.
@TuckerSpeed477 my 114 with 22XE made 130 hp. 137 torque. No dip. Bike pulls like a freight train
How notable is 12 ft lbs of torque when riding on the street?
It definitely makes a difference. Especially in the lower rpm’s.
So, the HPI pipe is crap?

Goes to show that $1200 HPI exhaust good only for wide open throttle
It's more a problem with the pipe length and cam combo, all short pipes have a similar issue. The full length HPI pipe performs beautifully.
Why do you people always have to add crappy music to your videos? You think it adds drama or something? No it's irritating
Haha finding royalty free music that we are actually allowed to use in the videos is harder than you might think.
