GPNVGs, UTVS, multiple teams of guys rolling around. I legit will never be as cool as you guys. Can't wait until I can afford to drive down there and take a course!
I set up a light LBE, slick carrier, and a micro rig. Distributes weight all over, to fight fatigue, and no matter what I'm running, it's the same muscle memory. A few HSGI pieces, and a bunch of Beez.
Could y’all do a video on starter coms setups and maybe some in depth gear stored on a chest rig. And at some point some budget buildouts rifle and pistol.
Any progress on the community finding another range? Also some thoughts: If we don't know the IF, When or what level something might happen, seems like a slick PC with a macro chest rig (carries 6 mags min) is the way to go? If I need to go on patrol 4miles+, I can carry PC in pack until I get to said place to check for food/meds/etc, then put the kit together before entering said place that may have what we are looking for and may also have someone who we are not looking for. Asking for a friend.
You are touching on a paradox of austere environments. In the situation where you may find it prudent to hide your kit, that situation is where you need your kit donned and ready. If you are patrolling then you are either the acting or competing force of authority in your territory. If I see you in the territory and I am the reason for your patrol, then I am engaging/capturing you regardless of what posture you have. If you are raiding/scavenging (depends on a person’s perspective), then you having kit on or not would only impact the decision of a lesser armed or motivated entity. Appearing unarmed invites yourself to be assailed. If you have business being there then you need to be armed. If you don’t have any business being there then you shouldn’t be unarmed. Even somewhat benevolent actors will waylay and challenge you in an austere environment. Being unseen is more important than seeming to be unarmed.
I don't see a situation where you'd rather have armor over less weight and more mobility that don't also involve State-level support, like a military gets. Armor doesn't make you bulletproof, it just increases your survivability so that you have a better chance of reading the trauma center. If you're in a situation where you're patrolling domestically and it's for anything more serious than "mostly peaceful" demonstrators, you're either enjoying that state level support (a la Ukranians getting guns to fight the invasion) or you'd be better served moving light and fast in a chest rig doing guerrilla sh*t, knowing that you can't rely on the trauma centers if you get hit because that's where "they" will be looking for you.
After working an ECP in Afghanistan outside all day I realized i needed to have the Velcro covered mag pouches. Otherwise the mags get sooo dirty from dust, rain, snow
Listening to him explain why he has that scarf made me realize that he just thinks he looks cool like SF. That’s the only reason. Given that if you kept it in a cooler for any amount of time, it would warm up fast as hell in the desert
Bro you gotta chill with tryna finish his sentences. Eventually you let him do his thing but this is consistent in many videos. Let him explain his thoughts dude fuck
just a heads up for those that care, Toor knives makes really cool fixed blade knives. But I've handled two of their folding knives and I'd take a gas station knife over them for the price. And if you think the knife you buy off them is special or "limited edition" get ready for them to release 16 other knives in different colors are call them limited editions as well. I like my fixed blade from them but for the money there are better knives.
Wow they charge a lot for a basic folder! Just looking at other CPM154 options in that 3-4 inch length, it looks like you could get a Hogue automatic and still have enough left over for a high end Kershaw.
In case you didn’t know, and I’m sure that you do, but I gotta say that your intro video is absolute fire.

Currently building out a TAPS rig for SHTF use. Plenty of space for mags and pouches.
Same here. I just got it in today.
Hard to beat to start with. Easy upgrades to make it more comfortable.
I used one for a long time. It's a solid rig.
@@freddyt86 it’s legit comfy. I know the harness sucks (easily replaced), but it gets underserved hate, imo
@@ryno9677 agreed. Throw some pouches on it for medical and skittles. Call it a day.
Personally I believe a sharpie is a must for putting a time stamp on a tourniquet when you apply it.
Naw just write it with blood.
Absolutely love my Velocity systems/Mayflower UW gen 4.
Shoulder mounted knives are in the perfect spot for sticking you in the neck with your own blade
Mayflower velocity systems UW chest rig is sweet too. Been running that since it came out
Carcajou makes awesome chest rigs. Currently my favorite for setting up a split rig
Would love to check out a ghost rig. Any chance for a restock soon?
4:16 What are those cummerbund clips that open and close so easily? Are they also available on the website?
Damn you guys make me want to train and spend money.
Any videos on the spade 7 ROCR 2 coming?
Carcajou Tactical makes solid stuff. Just found that guy recently. A carcajou is a badger apparently.

Love my Ghost Placard 🔥🔥
UFPro makes the best combat clothing. 💯
Way over priced for polyester. NYCO blend is vastly superior.
The UFPro Striker X combat no melt, no drip top and bottoms are second to none.
How is that m and p holding up? Would love to see a follow up video on it.
I have (6) 20-rd mags, an IFAK, a map of my AO in a ziploc bag, and a compact pair of 8x binos.
Platatac Mk5 for me... I love that rig for my types of use.
I’m looking for a 8 mag in the front and two large saw ish size pouches on the side or one saw ish pouch and one radio acceptable pouch area
Yooo when will there be more chest rigs on the website??

FAIL. Two columns of molle is not enough. The first company that comes up with four columns will make a fortune.

Where do you keep your nods on your kit?
Inside of my general purpose pouch or in an my helmet inside my assault bag

How well does the harness work with a ruck?
Why don’t you carry water on your chest rig?
