True story:
I watched this video for half an hour trying to do this. I couldn't do it and when I got out of my room, my mom said," what were you doing? " and I said," I'm trying to cuff them, do you know what pinrolling is? " " let me see your leg" she said. I put my leg on her knee and in one minute she finished both. she said," back then, we used to wear them like that. huh, guess they're bringing them back. " I said, " wow I spent 30 minutes of my life doing this. Thanks mom. " she said," no problem, you look really gay tho for your information. " me: ._.

Man I've been doing this back when I was on high school maybe 2001 time frame. When we uses to just used to rubber band it or personally I would rock a sweat band in place in place of the rubber band... Man, how times come full circle again.
You from Cali? I remember back in 01 in Nor Cal everyone was rocking rubber bands to cuff their jeans and Jordans or skater shoes with socks under the tongue to stuff the shoe. It's crazy that over a decade later this is what everyone's doing.

u dont't really have to pinroll if u are wearing a skinny jean...just roll upwards and it looks fine...this pinroll method is more suitable for straight fit jeans i think..

Make sure to roll them pretty tight.
back in the 60s and 70s we would use a paper clip. Do the first fold, paper clip it vertically, then roll up twice. Make sure you use a paper clip as tall as you want your cuff.
Ah, practice, my young millennial apprentice. If you do it right, the paper clip just holds the cuff in place and disappears when you fold the denim up over top of it.
