Been trying to find a way to lace my shoes for ease of putting on/taking off my shoes for TSA. This is SUPER helpful. Also if you don’t tie into a bow and just make a knot with the laces going towards the toe it’s not uncomfortable
I used to tuck the bow behind the tongue like that when I was in high school back in 2005 on my uptowns. Used to be annoying if the knot touched my foot. Especially on the low tops

But its ugly when u see ur lacies hanging on the side of ur shoe so thats why i clicked on this video. I was trying to find it by myself but i couldnt qiet find the way for it to be comfortable and has clean look at the same time. Ty for ur video.

Nice tip, Devan! Here's how I fixed the lace problem where the shoe insole is glued down. I just put the lace nicely on the insole and place a comfy shoe insert on top of it. Extra comfort from the insert and hidden lace. Pls like or pin my tip! 😊 or comment if it helped any of you. Thanks!

guys this is noob solutions, you have to tie a simple knot behind both holes where the laces go and cut the rest of the lace. then use lighter to make the cut smooth. these solutions in the video just makes the shoe more uncomfortable.
Finally, someone who isn't just repeating the same nonsense but offering sensible advice. Shoehorns can extend the life of all your footwear. Thanks to a full length one I can slide into my Blundies as easily as my bedroom slippers.
I've been doing this since the 90's but never thought of placing them under the soles, I always go the uncomfortable-bow-route which always untangles itself. The benefit however is that it always holds the lip in a fixed position.
Thanks I do need to get me a shoe horn I have leather boots and a long shoe horn will help with putting my Boots on. Thing I like about my brown Thorogood Moc Toe boots is I can put neutral clear shoe polish on them if I want them to look dressed up with dark blue jeans with a vest people will think I'm dressed up. If my boots go dull from working in them it's okay to because they look like work boots when there dusty and dirty. Some shoe soap wip them down re-wax them look all good again or get a horse hair brush to brush the leather on the boots.
