I have seen other videos where they use a memory saver cable, Am I at risk if I don't use it? I have kia soul wave 2022. I appreciate any help on this matter.

I put in a Delco battery a tiny bit bigger than the jacket so I did not put the jacket on, is that a problem? It seems to work fine. Thank you for this video!
