Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in this world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

Walter was the only man who never once tried meth and yet he was the most addicted to it
Could everyone stop commenting this please.
Pretty sure he's not the only man to never try meth but whatever
@@unvaccinated6467 hahahah your sentence makes 0 sence
@@doggomemememedog8346 OG said Walt was the only man who never tried meth once, and I said there's many people who have also never tried meth what's not to get?
@@unvaccinated6467 I live in a house
This show is the only show ever in history to be 99.1% pure.
Couldn't agree more
-Not the only show, no. The Wire and The Sopranos are both in the same league.-
@@Radimunto you missed the joke
@@SIGSEGV1337 I did, indeed.
The remaining 0.9% is the scene of Skyler singing happy birthday to Ted.
8:04 Walt is such a generous guy. He sent Jack and his crew and also himself off on a trip to Belize.
And to think he didn't wanna bring Hank along...
But he left Jesse, the snitch, right there. Good choice.
What a wholesome ending. Bravo Vince!
One of them first class tickets to the resurrection
whos billy?? sal said hank should go on a trip to billy's??
Now that I think about it, I really felt bad for Walt Jr, he literally had the entire plot about his dad’s business and actions along with his uncle’s death revealed to him in like 30 minutes while also witnessing his entire family fall apart. Ozymandias was devastating
How highly he talked about his dad throughout the whole show too it was heartbreaking
FUUUUUUU WALT JUNIOR HE JUST WANNA EAT BREAKFAST
No
Ozymandias is like walt’s nightmare, a nightmare he could maybe be dreaming back when him and skyler 1st bought the house. and, dreams come true. including nightmares.
yeah the poor naive guy! What a great actor too. It is hard to believe he was that naive but if in some kind of real life he wouldn't have been able to face any truth until he absolutely had to. I loved when he finally attacked Walt and protected his mom. That is a son every woman should have. I know I consider my son my hero.
When Andrea is killed and Jesse cries, that IS the hardest scene to watch in the entire show.
Yes
Yep😢
It's so swift too and isn't overly gory or dramatic that it almost feels like a liveleak video which adds a scary sense of realism to it
@@swaggydivorced it does feel super real :(
no it’s skyler’s birthday singing
I’d like to think that in his final moments, Hank kind of forgave Walt, or at least finally understood who Walter White was. Walt valued Hank’s life more than his $80 million, which Hank probably didn’t think at all.
This wasn't showed and underlined enough in the show...
It's kay they'll both meet in hell and they be bro af
for eternity
@@_anlim309 why does Hank deserve to go to hell?
@@GiantsFan1734 because he was a manlet
6:18 "Remeber there's still the kid"
My gosh
What happened to Brock? I may have missed something?
@@MindMonkye Not really sure but i think Jesse sends him a letter during El Camino. So atleast he's alive i guess?
@@raindropsdown7338 yes he is alive
Andrea getting killed was the only scene in the show where I had to pause the TV and say "what the fuck" to myself like 5 times before continuing
And that'd why I'm happy that Jesse made sweet, sweet love to Todd's neck with a steel chain.
Yeah that was hard to watch…
Imagine how Walt's family must have felt after finally hearing that he was truly dead. After all this.
I don't know if relieved or sad tbh
It’s a tv show and not real fyi
@@mattsupachat5962 yes doesn't mean you can't feel for it.
@@mattsupachat5962 "Lmao it's a show you're not supposed to feel any emotions for any of the characters!"
Flynn will deal with it the hardest. He lost the two most important men in his life. He will never truly recover from it. 😓
that "WE'RE FAMILY" still give me chills
The fight scene between Walt and Skyler in Ozymandias, is my favorite of all the time
It's just... His entire fall... The rupture whith his family... The consequences of his monstrous actions... So heartbreaking... Masterpiece...
WE'RE A FAMILY!!!
So perfect
They act like crackheads towards the ending that what the writer was going for
the acting was a masterpiece itself
And when Junior drops his sticks and throws himself in front of his father. He spends the entire series up until that point blissfully unaware of Walt's crimes, any wrongdoing.
walts family are truly the bastards in this, sure he didn't do a damn thing for them but he would never have hurt them
The shot on 6:24 is a nice bit of cinematography.
The wooden pillar in the room is in between Walter and Skylar, reflective of the literal divide between them at this point.
It's to show their relationship is as solid as wood 👍
@@monke980 bravo Vince!
The best part of the last episodes, at least to me, was when Skyler, Walter Jr and Walt fight. In the frame where he is holding the knife, them being scared and Walter Jr. calling the police, made both me and Walt realize that that was the end. No more family, everything was destroyed.
One familiy ripped apart by a guy who wanted the best for them. All three of them are shocked, terrified and afraid, one would think their emotions are similar, but somehow it feels that they are as different as emotions can be.
I have no idea how to describe that, but it is fucking awesome. One of the best TV shows ever.
The scariest part to me is what might've happened if Finn didn't jump in. Walter gives a little look right as he takes over like he's going to do something he'll regret
WE ARE FAMILY!
@@TheWyman55_ I can't understand what are you talking about, you really say Walt capable to hurt his wife?
@@obamavrat671names absolutely. Walter White is a character who makes rash and quick decisions under stress and anxiety. As smart as he is, he doesn't always make the right choice. In that scene where he clearly has lost all power in the confrontation, something that he needs and craves, I could see him making a bad choice if his son didn't step in to help
@@TheWyman55_ Walter never hurt his family directly and intentionally, and he was confused and annoyed every time Saul offered him to kill one of the members or leave them and go avay, same goes for Jesse, who he consider as something of a son. Even in the end when he saw it's Hank, who come to arrest him he called Jack and crew off, because he'd rather go in the prison than kill his family, and believe me this was one hell of the stressful moment
Ozymandias is on the Rushmore of greatest episodes of dramatic tv ever. People know where they were when they watched it.
To this day, it still holds a perfect score of 10/10 on IMDb
Season 6? something I don't want, it's as perfect as it can be.
I thought it was something about better call saul. I guess it was a typo
😂😂🤣
@@idiotbrownie1525 no, some people consider the 2nd half of season 5 as season 6
@@PotatoPizza420 ah I see. I just thought the official channel wouldn't title it like that. I guess they consider it its own season aswell.
Maybe the last three eps are like a sixth because most of the other seasons just had thirteen
That no no no I tried to save him, what a line
The domestic altercation between Walt and Skyler is so genuinely distressing, feels so real
fight
@@Micasaidwhat sure, if you have a limited vocabulary
It fascinating to me that without context this scene totally looks like Walter is a victim here. Just a father trying to protect his family who gets insulted, assaulted and then framed by his insane wife and son.
Masterpiece
There's one scene being missed. The one from Granite State.
Describe it
@@doshiluck Is it weird that that scene is super cheesy to me? It feels so unfitting
@@nekozombie what's so unfittting anyways?)
@Generaloberst Heinz Wilhelm Guderian
I like that you feel that way, but the scene makes me cringe so hard. I laughed out loud when it first occurred.
Why do you like it?:3c
@Generaloberst Heinz Wilhelm Guderian No no, I very much agree with you in that sense. Narratively the scene is great and pretty badass as you say. My issue has to do with the presentation, especially the way they used the intro music in it. I just wish the scene didn't include the music and put something more fitting [for my personal taste].
Thanks for sharing why you appreciate the scene, it means a lot:)
7:25 Never noticed how defeated Jesse looks in this scene. He looks scared and his eyes are screaming for death. He looks ashamed. So sad to see how he was when it first started to becoming that.
See now Todd had all of lalo’s sociopathy but like zero charisma. That’s why it’s easy to hate him and like lalo
Todd isn't a sociopath he is pure psychopath. Even when Uncle Jacked died he felt nothing.
Lalo felt rage when his house workers died and legitimately cared and feel for his family
The greatest tv show of all time, changes your perspectives of life, has you gripped with every twist and turn. Just pure GENIUS from Vince gilligan and Bryan Cranston. The final scene of heisenberg dying of a 50cal bullet wound rather than the cancer or arrested is somewhat even more heartbreaking. Forever number 1 BB.
Small correction the M60 uses 7.62mm not .50 cal.
he never did die confirmed by the actor there are rumours they will bring it back
The sopranos was better.
@@Helmuesi911clown take 🤡
I always read the scene where Walt tells Jessie he watched Jane die as retribution for betraying him and this moment, but now I see it also as Walt giving Jessie something to hang onto, revenge. Why I love this show so much, just layers and layers of possibility and meaning. Shakespearean.
I think he also did it because he blames Jesse for Hank’s death
Walt denied all of his responsibilities at that point. He blamed Skyler for tearing up his family. He blamed Jesse for Hank’s death and Jack for killing Hank. He blamed everyone but himself.
That’s why Jimmy left him. Jimmy want out but Walt was so delusional at that point to think that Jimmy will magically save his ass the way he’d done throughout the show.
Jimmy literally forced Walt into a situation that “I don’t save you. You save you.”
Maureen your theory doesn't work. Walt just gave up Jessie for execution. Why would he give him a sense of revenge to hang on to as he was about to die. Nope it was evil Heisenberg wanting him to go into eternity tortured. Dustin Hoffman did it to Bruce Willis in Billy Bathgate. Had him thown overboard alive with cement shoes while he was banging his wife so he could hear it. Bad movie. Great acting and chilling scene.
I don't see it like that. Felt more like Walt was rubbing poor Jessies nose in it at that point because Jessie would just be thinking about what could have been, knowing that it wasn't a tragic accident after all.
@@nont18411 Wait whos Jimmy now
The last look Walt and Jesse give each other in the finale is one of my favorite moments of the show. They both know its over, they know they’ll never see each other again, and they both know they destroyed their lives by working together. Yet they still have a companionship, they still have respect and love for each other for everything they’ve gone through together. That one last look says a million words that dialogue could never say.
This show never seems to decide whether it’s Season 5B or Season 6. Personally, I’ve always thought the former, but it keeps being called otherwise
5B it is to me. Always has been.
@@Radimunto true. An 8 episode season that doesn’t even end off properly doesn’t make sense to be called season 5. Its Season 5 and Season 5 part 2
Def season 6 2 me
@@PotatoPizza420 You have a good argument.
what do you mean by season 6 or 5B?
Walt was genuinely Heartbroken by Hanks death.
just to set everyone straight who might be confused, the final season was broken off into 2 parts. the scene where hank was on the toilet is the last scene of season 5 part 1. then there was a long hiatis and season 5 part 2 was aired and closed out the series.
How is the two best hitmen west of the Mississippi not here
When Walt said "we're a family" it broke my heart
The final sequence and song always gets me in tears
God, that last season was so depressing.
while all this is happening Tucker still be digging his hole.
The greatest show of all time. Period
didn’t know about this show until about 2015(yeah i know i lived under a rock), but i was hooked on the first episode and binged it like crazy till i finished it. took me like a week to watch the whole thing. such a masterpiece. ppl say “you don’t want to wait for a week to watch another episode” but i absolutely do want to. that’s how great it is, whether you were there from the start or from the dvd/streaming part.
2015 ain't bad, I didn't watch the show until 2021

Woah, a week?? I was hooked and took me a whole month
I honestly hate seeing Walt Jr say that Walt had drawn the knife and all that when it was skylar
He was right, Skyler was right, Walt was dangerous for the family.
Skyler was protecting the family from Walt, was Jr supposed to be on his side?
Yea
@@Whosaskin yes!
Yes
I watched it on Netflix, and it's all like Season 5, or on some sites, 2 parts that together make up Season 5, but I've always called it season 6 hahaha
nice i just watched all the compilations rather than rewatching the whole series

This is truly the moment that Heisenburg became the corpse of Heisenburg
Aaron Paul bro oh my fucking god dude, what a fucking actor man
Nice to see new content coming from one of the best series tv ever saw.
This show was such an emotional roller coaster dude 😩
I love the shot of Skyler walking towards the phone and the knives. Initially you think she's going for the phone since she's done it before, and the audience goes "OH SNAP" when she grabs a knife instead.
i ended watching all the breaking had scenes in this channel and brought me much nostalgia
What a hell of a show it was, absolutely great
I got so excited I thought another season just got released then I realised it’s season 5 part 2
Why would they ever release a another season?? That literally makes no sense
@@PotatoPizza420 One more season to show how Walt's meth started the zombie apocalypse and tie it into the Walking Dead. Tell me you don't wanna see that 😂

This is Season 5B, There was no Season 6. It was advertised as "The Final Season" when coming out but it is still part of Season 5
Pinkman suffered so much damn
yeah that's why it is so hard to watch the movie "El Camino" where it shows exactly what he went through with good old Todd and his crew.. It was actually a little too much. Jesse was a fav but he was so dumb sometimes. He could've gotten away with the vacuum guy but instead he chose revenge that is what happened to him that led to the HORRIBLE things that almost ended him.

すごい
The best finale of a story ever.
I guess some people can think of it as season 6 because of season 5 having more episodes than any of the previous seasons.
or because the first 8 episodes were released in 2012, and the other 8 in 2013
@@tornadogamah that I didn't know, thanks 😅
I do not understand the comments of people who say that this season is the worst. It has some critical aspect, but it is perfect. I understand that Jack's gang is generic and that many think they should have ended the series with season 4. But season 5 is the best for me. It is the most epic and I like how they close the series.
I'm glad they didn't censor this video
I did not know about this show before 15 days and now im a hugest fan
Walt JR is the biggest disappointment of a son anyone could ever have
What?
It is so sad to see how in the end, his biggest believer, Walter jr, betrays him.
Breaking Bad and BCS are the best cinemtic experiences we have ever had, these two shows are emotions for us, the way Vince Gilligan got us hooked to every characters, it is recommendedable. We don't want to try any new shows or stories and even if we do, all seems blatant in comparison to BB & BCS , After watching the final scene of BB, I litterally sat stunned for 15 mins, with laptop on my lap, playing the final song, "Baby Blue", in the background, tears were all over my face, i can't even explain that feeling, it was like i lost something personal that day and i know everyone of you felt the same, this is called cinema, this is called direction, you become the part of that story. While BCS coming with last season we just hope Vince comes with another story like he did in EL Camino. Think of Mike's story, Hank's story just come with another show Wince, We want this experience to go on forever, and this story to never get finished, Never!
One of the few shows that had a good finale
Just wondering:
Between "To'Hajiilee" and "Ozymandias" how did Walt manage to get
his glasses back on?
The upbeat music in total gruesome ending is just wonderful. It works so well. Reminds of No Surprises by radiohead.
Walt checks out a step ahead of the boys in blue, again and this time without Ed's help.
Might need to have a binge again 🤔😁
Perfect song at the end 👌 Vince Gilligan has done wonderful job no complain 👏
Man this brought back some memories ;_;
Just finished this masterpiece now and I can't express myself 🥺😭😌
i was so confused i thought ‘is this a season 6’ i never knew about??’
Masterpiece
Andrea’s death scene genuinely makes me feel so awful and sad. Everything about it just tears my heart out.
the LMG scene here is one of my favourite "action" scenes in the whole show, it lasts for so long in such a good way
does the “I watched Jane die” in this video sound different than usual? I feel like the vocal quality and line delivery is different
Can't believe 'Uncle Rick' was Tommy in the movie 'Valley Girl'...Holy balls!
7:07-7:19… Brilliant acting! The eyes! Don’t know how he did it but you literally see the split personality…Half here…half elsewhere!
The worst thing about this show is that it ended!!! The song choices, everything really. It is true all good things must end , this would have been my coronation street.
Watching the first couple scenes of this:
"What happened to being 'the one who knocks'?"
First in the desert, when he wasn't.
And then in his home, where he said he was
Walt could control any man but Jack. Just him. Yeah, now say my name, Walt
Simply the GOAT!
Both Jack and Hank’s last words were interrupted from a bullet to the head. Interesting detail.
3:55 Walt can’t resist coppin’ a feel
This probably is the greatest show of all time
To think, this almost went down the drain because of a writers' strike.
The official youtube doesnt even know there are only 5 seasons.
Best show ever
When i first saw this video in my notifs I thought it was BCS Season 6 compliation lol did a double take for a second there

If Walt met mike and Todd in season 1 episode 1, he'd be Heisenberg by end of that episode
How do you leave out the sequence when Walt actually takes Holly??
Season 5 is my least favourite. Not because it's bad, it's just so depressing. Especially the last few episodes.
