5 underrated Japanese Cars from the 90’s that I think Deserve More Shine

This is 5 Japanese cars we feel didn’t get the shine they deserved. Over shadowed by many of the other popular JDM cars. Some I’m sure you’ve heard of, others you may not have. They’re not the most powerful and some may not even have that much aftermarket support but they’re still cool cars. We plan on doing videos like this every so often with different kinds of cars. Japanese, American, sleepers, all sorts. This is our first video. Let us know how we did, and if you agree 👍
The eunos Cosmo was like the king of the 90s jdm car, its just that its not as well known.
Another 2 cars I think would deserve to be on the list are the Celica gt4 and the Mazda 323 gt-r
I was talking with another guy on here and I thought about doing a separate video talking about more of a rally side of cars and the GT4 I have written down and the 323 gt-r would also be on there. I didn’t think of the 323 gt-r but yeah you’re right you don’t hear much talk about it.
The cosmo reminds me of the old school Mazda 929

I actually didn’t think of that but yeah that would make sense.
The 3000GT and 300ZX are cars that I was shocked to see, however, although I've seen 2 of them. Then the Mazda, have heard of the older brother but didn't know they had a newer variant.
Yeah the eunos Cosmo is pretty cool. I’m trying to find one around Houston to do a car review on.
I came for the Cosmo, really love them. Reminds me of the Toyota Soarer. Also another car that deserved to be on the list are the Celica gt-fours, really underated imo.
Great point. Totally agree. I thought about maybe doing a rally type video or something like that with the gt-4, lancia delta integrale, escort cosworth RS, 22B….etc. Things like that. I’ll come up with something. I Love those cars. There’s tons but we picked 5 to start.
Before it even starts I want to say the one that’s slept on was the mx6 turbo. Same as the probe turbo cars were fun. I’m sure you guys don’t talk about them.
Well the probe is on another list I have and so is the mx6. But yes I agree. I just picked 5 to talk about today because it was our first video doing like this.
@@shaneomatic91 good stuff haven’t been on UA-cam a bunch watching was a good watch learned stuff today. To me those weird window Subarus are ugly lmao. Use to see them around town and wonder what type of idiot would waste money on a car so ugly. But I guess people actually like them
@@underfedcoyote5.022 they’re weird looking that’s for sure. Idk man, in stock form yeah they don’t look great. But lowered and the right aero I think they look pretty good. It’s just different maybe that’s why I kinda like it. 🤣 I don’t think I’d buy one tho.
The cosmo is clean! But I gotta roll with the pulsar. Cool little video.
That thing is pretty sick. Trying to get one on the channel. I know someone that has one, trying to line up a video feature.

Cosmo and Pulsar are underrated the others are kind of ehhh. Cosmo if you can MT swap it is probably the best on this list by a mile. Someone should put a BMW 7 speed DCT into one and modernize all the bits of it that it was ahead of time on.
Yeah that actually would be cool with a DCT. I would still rather have it manual but you’re right. That would modernize it and keep it more on the luxury side.
