He's got a case of isekai protagonist face
His younger brother looks older.
@@kasra8255 That's exactly what i said
Actually that's the 7th game Patches appeared in since he's from Armored Core originally, being an enemy sniper mercenary that's starting to beg for life and gives up the moment we barely damage him.
Armored Core, Demon's Souls, DS1, Bloodborne, DS3 and now Elden Ring. What's the seventh game?
@@TRSRM Dark Souls 2. Sure, he's a double characer in that game but Creighton and Pate are him if we think about it.
@@mareczek00713 That’s like me saying, your me if you think about, since you have similar characteristics even though we were created by different people.
@@WolfWood893 And they were created by the same person - contrary to us.
@@mareczek00713 Miyazaki was not the game director of Dark Souls 2. Why do you think it was so different?
Gawd damn, who'd know that Sellen is such a smokeshow under that mask? She chooses her bodies well lol
I knew. Soon as I heard her speak, I knew.
@@MarkHogan994 first thing you thought of ?
@@thotslayer9493 First thing I thought of was her literally pushing my face to the ground with her foot.
I thought the same thing, she’s fiine
Lanya and Sellen, MY TEAM!
Edit: Sellen’s og body/face is the one I’m referring to.
Spoilers!
Making Rogier so handsome and then killing him is next level of evil
Not only killing him but paralyzing him from the waist down.
Same thing with Bogart!
@@sugarhoneyicetea3040 yeah
IKR? The second I saw Rogier my mind went "holy fuck date me please, we can talk about sorcery all you want-"
I'm usually not attracted to game characters. However
D's younger sibling had a band called Nirvana. We lost him at 27 :(
I like how every npc requires some sort of unmasking to see their face clearly - except for Thops. what a loveable guy
Almost break my heart to give him the key…
@@rudeandinconsiderate9817 Don't. If Thops gets the key, he works hard and proves to all those snobs in Caria that he was right about barriers and they can eat dung. :p
This is so cool, I love how even the perpetually-masked characters have their own distinct character designs.
Sellens first face is incredibly cute.
And ensha looks almost exactly like knight Kirk from Dark Souls 1
I think Lanya is going to the win best girl award though
Lanya😍
Both Sellen*
Hell I might fire up a new character and make her lol
Selllen wears that Glintstone crown just so people can actually pay attention to what she's saying
😂
Millicent's questline has been my favourite of any soulsbourne game so far. Seeing her before/after in such immediate and stark contrast is enough to remind me of how awesome that whole thread was.
Anri's was always mine one of the few you could help especially if you turn away from the wedding
Varre's Tattoo is just his lord's, Mohg's weapon (and symbol of his communion with the formless mother). Cool.
Also didn't expect ensha to be old, I'd assume the resident edgelord was a young animu boy.
read the armor description you get from Ensha
@@KynElwynn Yeah but how the world works or rather barely works in Elden Ring it's hard to assume how old people really are with how death does not work properly anymore and such.
For some reason I always thought Ensha was a woman.
its cool though, i think it kinda implies hes been serving gideon for a very long time. plus the idea of an assassin who has lived long enough to grow old is cool
@@chillax319 I’d assume the physical age of people who are past their prime is how old they were when Destined Death was stolen by Ranni and given to Malekith. Their aging was immediately paused while people still growing up have their aging paused when they are at their physically most capable.
If this hypothesis is true and age isn’t just cosmetic, it’s extremely commendable for the characters in Elden Ring who are physically older - even the ones in their middle ages - to be surviving and even campaigning for Elden Lordship like Ofnir.
This is so cool. Especially D and his younger brother. They actually look like siblings with D’s brother sharing similar traits but an overall younger aesthetic. Cool as heck.
aren't they suppose to be twins?
Idk about "younger", definitely more rugged, since the twin is literally living like a hobo when you find him.
3:00 one interesting thing to note is that while combat refers to him as Big Boggart, the NPC map icon that was added in later actually does refer to him as Blackguard!
Now I know why Diallos was so bummed about Lanya’s death
It's kinda adorable how Rya shares the same hairstyle as her mother (Tanith).
Sorceress Sellen looks amazing, definitely didn't expect her to look like that
1:23 I knew I was right to fall in love
Ok honestly I’m very impressed with how flexible the facial engine is. Like, even the craziest and goofiest faces you can make somehow still look “pretty freaking good”
The software engineers and modelers should be proud of themselves
Diallos looks like he's about to ask me for my strongest potion
Fun fact, Castellan Jerren change his name to Joshua Tomar. Due to his interest in glintstones sorcerers and the magical ore they possess he sought out a way to design a grouping of emeralds that would provide him unmatched vocal properties.
Look tomar that's you
"Hey Tomar, what would you do if you had to swear an oath to a giant little character with aids and host a festival to have a bunch of other funny little characters to kill him??"
Thophs looks more like Tomar, tho.
He also decided to changed his name back after committing several heinous war crimes in the Lands Between under the Tomar persona
Interesting just how much thought they put into some of these, especially the ones wearing helmets. Dung eater looks exactly how I would imagine as well.
Dung Eater overal face shape gives me Wyald(character from "Berserk") vibes which alignes with his overall personality quite well.
One of the most evil character ever, I hated wyald lol
@@lotharschramm5000 Ironically he was one of the most "human" of the Apostles when it comes to his brand of evil. That's what makes people hate him even more because he does what would evil person do if they had the same power as Wyald has.
3:20 BAYLEEEEE
Its funny to see "Rico" and instantly think
CURSE YOU BAAAAAAYLEEEEEEEEE
Glad to see you back Zullie! Glad we were able to uncover Patches face. Was always a mystery to me
With how good some of these look, I wish we could have seen them unmasked in the game. Their looks have so much personality to them.
Hope someone makes a mod eventually
Half of them are literally unmasked lol.
Great work as always, thank you Zullie.
Dang! Did not expect Sellen to be Miss Lands Between 2022!
3:36 Actually I think this maiden is the dead one at the start of the game. The maiden in the crowd at the Radahn festival is Therolina
This game lore is so cool and unique I love the idea of d and his brother being one soul with two bodies
Finally, my D build can be accurate
Can't wait to see if Vyke got 2 versions of faces since you technically fight him in his prime as a Tarnished and him once he succumbed to the Frenzied Flame.
Technically technically, you fight him the exact same both times, since the latter is an invasion which would have to be either a remnant of the past or him spirit walking to defend the location, while the former is his real current body in prison
I so want to see vyke's face, like damnn
Vyke should've been elden lord not me :(
His prime is succumbing to the frenzied flame
@@milk-el8vq I wouldnt say that, he's much harder in the Gaol than he is during the invasion lol
Sellen actually looks amazing, such a waste that you never get to see her face in-game
Not sure this will be seen, but I just wanted to say thanks! Having this data really helped make better models for my characters and I really appreciate how helpful the data is. Sellen is my absolute favorite character and being able to see what she looks like was amazing!
oh my god, rogier is ADORABLE. look at that baby face!
Thank you for the sliders, Zullie! This will be of great help in the future!
I really really love the face designs they went with, almost all of them add so much personality to their character and fits so well with them
You are my hero for putting the sliders in. What a LEGEND.
0:32 Fun fact: It could be speculated that Irina is in fact Hyetta, since Hyetta only appears once you've completed Irina's questline.
Possibly something similar to how Shabriri takes over Yura’s corpse?
I would assume its the same thing considering where her questline goes.
Something something 3 fingers possessions
Speculated, but that doesn't explain why Irina's corpse remains while Hyetta is up and about.
Ah yes the "speculated fun fact"
I didn't notice this in my first playthrough, and at the time wondering why theres a lot of blind girls running around.
Everyone of them looks beautiful! From made an amazing job giving these NPCs personalities of their own by just matching the face with their stories. I wonder if we will see these unused NPC in the DLC.
Gawd damn Sellen looks good! On my way to make my character just like her
I have to wonder if a list containing the Dung Eater can really be called "Friendly" NPCs...
(For real though, this is fascinating, great job!)
he´s a misunderstood fellow ya know, had a rough childhood and so on
come on, he just wants to kill you and desecrate your corpse, defiling your bloodline for generations to come. Cut him a bit of slack!
I’ll be forever pissed that they hid Sellen’s face.
I have Platinum on Elden Ring Solo'd all Boss's and still had no Idea about the roundtable Mirror 😂😂😂 you learn something new everyday, thank you Zullie ❤
Thanks for putting up the customization stuff, now I can become patches to mess with my friends!
its surprising how much detail and thought is put into the faces when 99.9999% of players will literally never see it
also Lanya and Sellen are hot
Indeed they are.

Gonna keep this one for later, I'm pretty sure I have yet to meet half of them in their masked state.

Lautrec, I require your ring, a siegbrau, a +4 Shortsword, and a LOT of dung pies. No time for questions.
We Undead have nothing to give and way more to take.
Not that i would do such a thing, of course.
Sir Sephiroth Ofnir, the All knowing
Good grief, Nepheli is such a beauty. I’m so happy I can give her the happy ending she deserves.
I can't wait to see more of your Elden Ring content! The game is blowing my mind.
We want Vyke! We want Vyke!
And other invaders too if it isn't a hassle. Thanks as always for the work you do Zullie, super cool.
I love the quality in this new character creator, From Software really did an amazing job with it.
3:22 CURSE YOU BAYLE
I like how all their faces look exactly how I imagined them. Fromsoft did a good job expressing their character's appearance with just their voices and personality.
3:42 edge, lord
This such a great resource to have! I gotta appreciate the amount of time it must have taken to get the data and display all of them like this.
The map marker patch shows us D's bros name on the map as 'D, Beholder of Death'
Zullie, I just wanted to thank you for these character sliders. I have been addicted to doing cosplay playthroughs and having the character sliders has been so helpful, so thanks!
I love D as a character. I'm tempted to take his armor and sword with this character setup and do a run as him
The maiden at the Radhan Festival is named Therolina, you can summon her during the fight. She is actually sent there by Selivus, as you find her in his basement and she's one of the puppets you can get from him.
Nephelli is an absolute beauty!!! I think I like her face model and Sellen's the most ❤️

Coming back after the DLC, and damn, that unused NPC’s clothes are Igon’s clothes, how cool
I like the trident mark on Varre's head. Very cool.
Patches being jacked is surprising.
