To reply to the three guitarist comments. That's Pat Smear, The original guitarist for the Foo Fighters, left in 97' I think. Anyway, he made a surprise appearance before the show, and Dave decided to let him play with them. There you go. Flame the truth.
I think it gives them a thick sound. They rarely all play the same parts.........pretty frustratating when trying to play the songs accurately! LOL. Good ol Dave staying faithful to Gibson........big fan
Why didn't they let Pat play? Another rhythm guitar panned left during the verses would have been very nice. He just sat there looking like a lost and confused child
