There's nothing stopping Alan Tudyk from winning with his talent level. He surpasses every expectation in every endeavor he chooses. I freaking love that guy.
I had never heard of this show until I stumbled across it on a local TV network's streaming service . I watched the first two episodes last night and was hooked. I have set aside this weekend to binge the first two seasons . I LOVE THIS SHOW !
The scenes where he shows an unhealthy love for Jerry Orbach always get me laughing! The scene where he learns English from Law and Order was great. Alan Tudyk is great in this role
The comic Harry Vanderspeigle is like a completely different but still just as interesting character. I really wish the show could've somehow also done justice to the comic Harry
Max the kid steals his scenes, which is saying something when the costar is Alan Tudyk. I’ll be interested to see what he does as he grows older, cuz he is a great comedic actor.

The show is funny, but I hate that they made harry a stereotypical "Kill All Humans" alien. It makes me upset, because Harry's an awesome funny dude. They Merged the Mayor with the young deputy, and just so many changes that it's almost not even the same thing.
Yea, episodes 2 and 3 are more different than even the first episode. It’s definitely something different thats loosely based on the comic. I would bet Harry comes around to love humans. Still nothing like the comic but I doubt he destroys the earth. Thanks for the comment!

Its designed to traverse light years thru the rigors of outer space. Theres no reason why it would be vulnerable, except for weak writing, weak story lines, to enable him to have to interact with the humans.
Yea, I think it will all converge. I think it might get a big dull without all the side stories. Hopefully Harry will decide Earth is worth saving after all!

It's not aliens it's that a really big bolt can and does vaporize the steel.. just like in Star Trek nothing is left. First appearance of Resident Alien was as a short story in Dark Horse Presents issues #18-#20. I happened to get them....can't remember why I bought the book but the Resident Alien stories were highlights.

ALAN does such a great job in everything he is in loved him in this tucker and Dale vs evil and rouge one like this man can not do no wrong even loved him as the pirate in dodgeball he's such a amazing actor and one of my favourite comedic actors.

Interesting, I enjoyed ur show. A lot of people say Umm, Ahh, And over and over. Proper public speaking is so important, it’s a huge pet peeve of mine. I’m going out to r local comic book store and buy these. I was into TWD then the series came out. There’s a good 1 but I never finished them is The Last Man On Earth, that’s a rest read. I’m hopeful some day it to will turn into a series. U have a Podcast? I’m going to find them. Your voice is radio voice. It’s very relaxing, and soothing. The lady reminds me of an old SNL skit, the 2 lady’s on the radio interview Alex Baldwin, very funny. But she reminds of that. Tell her to say “Sweaty balls”! Why is there a problem with umm or ahh? It's a normal thing that people do, it's just filler words while people are thinking. I don't think that's valid criticism at all. Some people have anxiety or just can't find the right word, are you going to berate them too because it's a "pet peeve" of yours? What's important is the substance of what they are saying not any quirks that they may have to their speech. Sorry I know I might be coming off as harsh but your first sentence was a bit unnecessary and pushes this idea that a person has to fit this certain mold to be "perfect" or "proper" that just doesn't exist. Besides they aren't giving a speech to the whole country, its just two friends talking about stuff they enjoy.
I like the comic so much more. How they got to dopey comedy I have no idea. The show is ok, but, such a waste. Haven't watched any more since the girl power episode. Ugh...
It is amazing to me how the comic that probably has a budget of less than $30k per season has better coverage of the plot holes than the TV series that costs millions per episode. How can writing be the cheapest part of TV and movies, and yet is always the weakest part? When was the last time you saw a sci fi show with great writing and crappy CGI? Stuff with crappy CGI almost always has even crappier writing.
I don’t think the writing is bad. It’s just different from the comics. There are more differences than similarities. There are a few movies and shows that come to mind where the writing was good but but the cgi was bad: The original stargate movie, Season one of Travelers on netflix, Firefly, terra Nova, seasons 1-3 of sliders.
