Luongvek Era, the Khmer kingdom from 1527-1620.

In 1526, after overthrowing King Korn who was reigning during the Chaktomuk era, the capital of Luongvek was established, creating a new era called the Luongvek era. The Khmer Kingdom continued to face successive wars, both internal conflicts among the Khmer themselves and invasions from Siam's Ayutthaya. Eventually, the Khmer monarch decided to turn to ally with the Annam dynasty to seek support in resisting Siamese attacks. What events occurred during the Luongvek era? I like your narrative on this part of the khmer history very much. However, was it true that when a Siam or Thai ethnic group started to rebel, then the king of the khmer Empire sent his daughter to be married to the head of the rebel in order to calm him down?👍
