Damn! I could have swore it said two hits on the reference card. I also understand we were playing the Fate cards wrong by drawing Event cards during the Fate card turn. The correct way would make the game a bit easier; I'm shocked we actually won once! ~ Jeff
@@Thegaminggang Its a great game but man it pushes me on the administration and housekeeping front! Not easy to play solo but like you said and I've told folks, "The game works really well IMO"!
Great review. Looks fantastic! And preorders are still open at my favourite game store. I'm going have to keep an eye open (hopefully not an eye out!) for Dawn of the Zeds too.
Well, it turns out that we were drawing too many event cards according to Hermann, so the game would end up being far easier than we experienced. Funny, enough here's a variant gamers might try: roll a six sided die when you need a random fate number. Then anytime you have to draw a Fate card look to the bottom and draw an Event card if it says to. That's actually what were doing (minus that die rolling) rather than only consulting the yes/no draw Event card after a player performed a follow action. It made the game pretty challenging! ~ Jeff
Thanks buddy - really nice video and review!
Of course my friend! ~ Jeff
I believe a 'Critical Hit" is one hit and earns a re-roll.

What do you think about the difficulty? Bgg has a lot of complaints that it's too easy.
