Steven Lawson: No Hope without It: The Life of Christ

- God requires us to be holy as He is holy. As sinners, we deserve to be eternally punished for breaking God's law. To satisfy our guilt before God, we need a substitute not only to die for our sins but also to fulfill the righteous requirements of the law on our behalf. We need a mediator to succeed where Adam failed in keeping God's commands. In this session, Dr. Steven Lawson details the significance of the active obedience of Christ in His role as the second Adam and explain why there is "no hope without it."

I look to the Cross where my Savior died and I am saved from the Judgement and Wrath of God. The Cross of Christ represents the only means of Salvation for all of us. We cannot change God's Plan, we can only accept it and abide in it. What a mistake it would be to miss this great truth that God has shown to us.
Great biblical message by Dr. Steven Lawson. Thank you. ❤
We are truly saved by works. Not ours though, but Jesus'. Well said! He by His obedience worked out our salvation. Praise the Lord.
It's so mighty and truthful yet you have to spend your whole life making people believers of what is already true.
I. Love. Awe. some. Lawson. What. Truth
Amen, because of Christ's obedience to the law, we are totally redeemed from the curse of the law.
that was truly i think one of the best sermons of the Gospel i have ever heard
I found one thing common among cults is the denial of the imputation of Jesus' righteousness onto the believer by faith.
What a heart for God's Word!

God Bless Dr. Lawson💙🙏🏾☺️
11,000 views and only 11 comments. That's rare. Usually people have a lot to say about topics like this. Guess the law did it's job and left every mouth closed and everyone accountable to God.
I completely agree. Usually when I hear grace messages like this I get ready for the anti-Christ comments saying we must obey God and grace is a license to sin etc. Like people in grace doesn’t want to obey God and sin all day long
I love this message, thank you brother Lawson
wow. Thank you so much. I want everyone I know to hear this
you should change your name to Harry Preach then :D
An absolutely wonderful video!
James, the brother of Jesus, tells us: 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. (James 1:22-25)
Amen
Thank you so very much
Pure christology!
The life and death of Christ. Amen.
How can four people hear the Word of God and not like it
They’re dead in their sins (Colossians 2:13 & Ephesians 2:1) They need to be made alive again by the sovereignty of God to have a repentant heart.
You preach better when you're without your sermon notes 😂😂😂
