- From North Dakota, J. Gresham Machen sent his last telegram to John Murray back at Westminster in Philadelphia. It read, “So thankful for the active obedience of Christ. No hope without it.” In this message, Dr. Sinclair Ferguson explores Machen’s friendship with Murray, the final weeks of his life, and the weight and beauty of this final theological confession of Machen.
This message is from our 2023 Winter Conference, Machen’s Christianity and Liberalism: 100 Years Later. • 2023 Winter Conference...
Dr. Ferguson is truly a top rate theologian. Dr. R.C. Sproul called Dr. Ferguson as his favorite theologian. And he is a humble man of God.
Great teaching about the “ perfect obedience of Jesus Christ “, our great Savior and Redeemer.
Really "active obedience of Jesus Christ" . Yes, it is perfect!
Thank you Dr Ferguson for sharing🎉 39:20 withus the gifts God has given to you to feed his sheep
Repent Sinclair for fellowshiping and praising Tim Keller
Not everyone is perfect.
@@petercollins7848 it's not about perfect, it's about if you're a believer that your conscience is conflicted and you know who is or isn't to be in fellowship with do to there words, works and fellowship themselves
Shame on you, Eric!
Actually tim keller is great. Lol maybe take a breath.
Has Tim Keller done nothing worthy of praise? I regularly criticize Keller, but I don't doubt he's said true things and done good things at points
