Hmm...I think I will try for Tyrantel but not going crazy for him. They announced the Captain Commando collab and that really picked my interest, so I'm going full saving mode.
Unfortunately for me, I was gonna consider skipping but then I heard Tyrantel's voice.

Was hoping for Tyrantel, but pulled 2 Tabres on about 80 pulls. Time to save everything for Lanford’s heart of desire. I think I have all the resources ready to go for the SP upgrade (which of course means that I’ll realize I’m missing something at an incredibly inopportune time).

Does the tyrantel possesion just clone him or does it only give his skills + talent to the target? Couldnt test this out in his trial thing since the failure condition is him dying.

How would she work with building Frigg stacks?
Her only ranged skill is Air Slash, so... very poorly. Her talent just ports her into range before using a skill normally, so that would only count as 1 range distance for Frigg purposes.
4 times tabres before getting tyrantel... Time to save up again I guess

Kong, after having played the last Apex season, I think you & Tristan may have prematurely quit Apex/game in protest to the META change to OP Rush teams. I'm still a bad apex player, but a lot of the new OP heroes kind of cancel each other out. Admittedly these new OP heroes do dwarf many older heroes that you've already built, but that's normal for power creep. Did you watch Zebito's MythosZ's apex season? It was pretty entertaining because he forced Angeliina pick 1 every battle & still got top 124. His gimmick apex adventure was entertaining to watch. As for me, I was able to squeeze top 512 in gold 3 tier, and i'm much worse than you & Tristan.
I didn't quit Apex/game in protest to the meta change to op rush teams. I famously play a lot of non-meta heroes so the meta changes don't affect me much.
@@Kongrisser Well, Tristan quit, and it seems your enthusiasm for the game has dwindled, and I was suspecting it was partially due to your bro quitting. I mean, you didn't play much apex i reckon, since you didn't review this past season at all.
Powercreep is a real problem now, and after Isolde banner the game is pretty dead balance wise. Im going to try Time box next season and play bronze games, seems way more interesting
@@nolopongo684 Yeah the way to have fun now is to find a gimmick that brings you personal joy, especially for people who aren't spending to keep up month to month.
More a dps that can guard than a real tank. Ok for rush boxes but meh for tank push, so easy skip. And now saving for Captain Commando 🎉
I'd still consider him a real tank. He has DR in his talent, a revive, his 3C is a 2-range guard with distant counter, DR or -crit% in his heart bonds, can reduce magic dmg with Tiamat, has a slate of tank troops, and his aura protects nearby allies. That's the full tank toolkit. If he's meh for tankpush it's mainly because everything is meh for tankpush now. Can't wait to see what an OG bulklord like Will_ does with his.
If you want to push, you need a lot of utility (like Tyr), or if you want to endure against rush, you need to go full tortoise, which means you're probably bringing a second tank anyway.

If dont kill your own unit, then its just a 1 life tank
Easy skip although I had a luck-streak and still have 400 tickets left (F2P) I don’t care enough for pvp.
You're going to be in good shape for next month's new units in that case!
