I got burned out from this game also. I miss it from time for time but eventually i parted ways
Not surprising to me, the game is either too boring or too annoying. Nothing to do except login, sweep all dailies, and logoff. For the xhallenges you cant sweep rnemies now have higher stats than players are capable of getting, which makes it annoying to deal with when they 1 hit ko even your tanks.
The game is also too rng heavy. Bad rng stacked on bad rng, stacked on bad rng can keep you from progressing and lead to hating the game, it does for me at least.
Bad rng with summoning, bad rng with stat enhancements, bad rng with equipment enchantments, and bad rng with getting equipment you need (played for years and have not got a single Ragnarok for example other than the single freebie that was given in a recent event after I complained about certain equipment being far too rare)
Been watching your videos for a long time. I checked about 4 times today to get your input on the new banner. Was excited to see new video up.
I have been playing about 4 years and have got Burnt out a few times. So I can only imagine with all the time you put in.

The buffs are:
Gravity Control: +1 movement (doubles to +2 as you said after moving 5 tiles in one action)
Super Sonic: +1 attack/skill range (doubles to +2 if you attack without taking damage as you said)
Super Regeneration: recovers 20% of hp after every battle (doubles to 40% if you have 90% or more hp after a battle)
Hyper Sensitivity: Attack first if attacked (if you end your turn in danger zone, it upgrades so you can attack first when attacking as well)
High Frequency: Attacks ignore 15% of enemy defense (if you get a kill while it's active, it upgrades to ignore 30% defense)
In addition to unlocking one buff that's not currently active each turn, you also unlock an additional buff after completing the "mission" a buff gives you which allows you to unlock all 5 buffs in 3 turns rather than 5.

I’ve been doing a lot of just dailies too. The grind can be a lot.
As someone who started after the overlord collab I missed out on quite a few great collab unit that I would love them to rerun quite sad about that so as someone who loves the guyver series can't missed out. It's good to take a break every now and than because no matter how good the game is or how much you love it there will always be a point and time where you will feel burnt out after playing for a long time.

i understand your burn out. i kind of felt like that after that crazy period with mirror world, endless voyage and dimensional expedition happening at the same time. i barely played any pvp at that time because i was too tired and i barely touched story mode for a while. i will slowly catch up with the story now, because there is no need to rush anyway since the game will probably (and hopefully) be alive for a while. the game is very demanding indeed, i understand zlong needs to update it almost everyday to keep the game alive, but sometimes i feel it is too much, like the new casting and the ragnarok bosses. Good to know you are not leaving the game, i do appreciate your content. Get some deserved rest and good luck with the new content you want to do.
Yeah I still haven't finished Vidar or the latest Ragnarok stages, but those won't take too long when I get to them. Definitely not playing shit like Endless Voyage for a long time though.

I know I'm probably completely on my own with this, I would love to start completely fresh again (yeah I know, something is wrong with me). I started a little bit later than everyone else, and then took almost 2 years away from the game. I managed to get close on average power to people at the time but now I'm like 10k power behind coming back. It's hard to stay interested when you're playing from behind
Yeah, it all depends on your goals. For some reason this game has a lot of elements in place that try to promote competing with other people (rankings and achievements and stuff), but the key to staying interested in that kind of environment is to choose one or two things you want to progress on, and then gradually work at making that happen, whether it's Ancient Beckoning, a specific hard battle you want to clear, a character you want to build, etc.
@@Kongrisser Yeah, I think it's hard with what exists already to even follow your own goals, like resources u miss out on from not being placed in apex or world arena consistently stack up to a fairly huge amount over time, and ideally you want to aim for that consistent stream of income as fast and reliably as you can.
Then I also wish the game was a bit more helpful in building a team, like if someone really likes Lana and builds her up only to find out she's completely outclassed by any other mage in PvE and PvP it can be pretty painful, not growing with power creep can harm peoples experience or make them feel like they've wasted time.
Or if there's someone you really like (You with Transcender may not the best example since he was more supplementary than a first choice or decision) But their resources are finite since they started later, oof that would be a bit stinky.
I think there needs to be a better mix of like, more frequent events, better guides to team building, more powerful new player startups (althought the introduction of 2 heroes + cherie was good, it's still not amazing especially since the power creep of completing challenges ramped up a lot as well to match hero power). Anyway bit of a rant there, I still love the game and it kept my interest for a long time and it quite honestly is a very good game even if you don't spend anything. But I wish it had a bit more TLC, and getting 3 crafters hammers and 50,000 gold every time there's an outage or maintenance is so dated I don't even feel like it's worth the time to open my mail for
Should always make sure to put in only as much effort as you find enjoyable from the game. I still have a LOT of content available that I've just plain not done, and just chip away at it bit by bit when I have the free time. Hope you enjoy what you're doing, no matter what it is!
Hi Kong, don't worry, most of us all been there. There have been times I wasn't even doing all the dailies, just connecting , aniki gof dragons. No need to put pressure on yourself for a game.
As for content, try to do stuff you enjoy to do and see how it goes.

Speaking from partial experience here.
I have a friend who does YT for another gacha game and he’s pretty much burned out and put an expiration on his accounts (deleting them and quitting).
I’ve been a fan pretty much from day one when I stumbled into the game and relied on your videos to learn and play.
I recommend branching out and trying other things but DONT chase the views like I’ve seen so many others try to do. Don’t get locked into a specific game and do what you love to do. I’m subbed to you and your personality not the game. If you branch out I’ll still watch even if it’s not something I’m actively interested in I’ll just throw you on the office tv and have you be my background noise
Yeah I'm definitely not here to chase views and have a UA-camr business-I just like making stuff. I rolled my eyes at some of the people I knew who kept trying to jump to the latest game (which they often didn't know or care anything about) just to "build an audience".
The trick to long running things like MMO’s and gachas is to go into coasting mode every once in a while. Grab log in stuff and low hanging fruit, and eventually you’ll feel like playing and log in to a pile of resources.

Well, my first summoning session ended with me getting The Golden Menace :P I want Sho, but I dunno if I'll have enough to get him.
Honestly its standard situation. Repeating same things over and over... pretty... exhausting. Sometimes you really need something diffrend and refreshing.

I can understand the burnout. I stopped for about a year and a half (like full stop) and just recently came back. Feel better now, been back for about 2 months I think (came back for Dragon mommy). The blue guy looks really nice for pve, I summoned for him and got him after 200 summons. The few times I do use Ryo he is very enjoyable so I can understand what you mean. Also....I always pictured you with a royal crown, my image has been destroyed lol.

To be honest, I have been feeling burnout on Langrisser for quite a while. Ever since the Golden Voyage became returned for a third time didn't touch it. Langrisser as game feels too much like you're dancing just to not get OHKO in the PVE stages and not really "fighting" the enemy. It doesn't really feel like a strategy game anymore. That aside, I like the characters, so I will stay around for a bit more time.
I'm going to summon for Guyver becuase they seem fun units to use, I hope I don't have to hit pity 4 times to get ONE unit like in the last crossover.

Wow! Those clips brought back memories. I used to stay up until stupid o'clock back in the 90s to watch guyver. I'll be trying for both characters, but i only have around 200 summons

I’m skipping this crossover, as I do with most. I just put everything I had into summoning Florentino for 3(3!) bond unlocks. Had a 10 pull leftover, so did it and got Rachel, which opened a bond for Landius. Yesterday was an excellent summoning day. I’ll just step away from the gachapon for now…
Sounds like you made some great progress! Yeah, unlocking a whole bunch of bonds for your actual team will go farther than collecting some collab guys you won't use.

I'm saving this month because next month there is ONE (maybe 2) banners I want to summon on. The Grenshiel and Sword of Light and Shadow banner (I want both but I'm ok with only getting one) Grenshiel for the Awakened One upgrade and Sword of Light and Shadow cuz I love this caracter (and I failed twice to summon her). The other one is the new caracter.
i have been playing in salrath since the server started before that i clocked 4 months in the CN server but i gave up due to language differences there. Thought of quitting the game after the best 4 players in my guild left for the strongest guild in salrath due to guild war mode but decided to hold on to the clan as there are still other active players in the clan. Nowadays i just log in once a day to complete the daily.
Thank you for the video and, no worries! It's good to admit you're a bit burnt out by the game and just taking some time off. I have my ups and downs with the game as well. The most important part is to have fun and make stuff that makes you happy!
As for the Guyver crossover, I tend to summon and build most heroes of time characters so these are some nice new options!

I dumped all my crystals into this banner, hoping for Sho since his buffs are exactly what I need to solve the level 75 missions, which are quite frankly rage inducing.

im collecting, i summoned and got both in about 100-120.
Have you started to use the delegation feature? It feels like a built-in macro-botting system to farm, but in a way better than macro-bot, because you can still do other things while it farms for you. That could help alleviate some time.
I find it kind of crap tbh. The game has to be open anyway, so I'd rather just turn on 30x CB and let it run in the background while I do other stuff.

Whatever content you make, I'll continue to watch it. Appreciate the work you've done to keep the player base in the know in an approachable way. I definitely have been burned out since the last DE and Mirror World. Too much too fast; not enough novel content. Much like you, I didn't finish Endless Voyage and haven't touched the new story content, but have kept up with dailies.
We must get LLR Imelda... cmon... banner will be like AO, Wettham v1 and v2... We MUST save on her

Dont worry about game/content burnout. Take as long a break as you need. I enjoy your videos but completely understand what its like to have a lull in that excitement. I myself took about a year long break from the game and now after coming back its much more fun. So you do you.
Now on to Guyver, I actually enjoy Sho a lot more then I thought I would. I really like his upgrading mechanic. Its like a little mini puzzle, but not to complicated. It feels just the right amount of complexity. Its pretty neat. Also after seeing that clip, I want to watch the anime again, I have the original OVA on DVD.
I am only disappointed that the S3 animation isnt from the Guyver 1 form, from the OVA anime. It looks so much cooler when he reaches into his chest with his hands, and pulls open the MegaSmasher. That and I wish I could pick what the battle sprite looks like but still retain the stat boost. I much prefer how Guyver 1 looks over Gigantic Exceed.
100% agree, I wish we could have original Guyver 1 in the field instead of the ridiculous gigantic forms.

The burnout is definitely understandable, I even took off two months myself and ended up missing quite a lot, but that's okay...though I did miss out a Golden Sea which is always going to be my favorite mode that I will always come back to...
Now as far as this banner goes, while they aren't meta, the fact that they're collab characters does give a strong incentive to try and summon them both...for all the bad reasons... I'm sure many people who still play this game has noticed, but they have basically stopped doing reruns of collabs, which means that once they're gone you'll never have another chance of summoning them ever again... They have been focusing more the Langrisser side of this when it comes to both story and originality, and thus the collabs have been getting the poor "backburner" treatment...which does make me sad as there are a couple of characters I wasn't able to get (Few are even meta, like Gintoki)... You would think that they could at least put them in shard bags to allow those that missed out on them to just buy them and add them to their collection...but no they never did, and it safe to say that they never will...

He's good! Hard to say exactly how meta box composition settles down that far into the future, but he has PvP promise, partly because he's not locked to just being a one-trick tank (he can contribute offensively too).

What about the free unit? Is he any good?
I'm not convinced by his kit. He builds up talent stacks, kind of like Altemuller or Hein. When he has 3, he gets +mobi, and when he has 5 he gets a retreat after battle like Leon. But it takes time to build up those stacks, and you need to get kills to extend their duration. A shame, because he's cool.
I was worried you would start burning out when you started that Heroes of Time account - you should ditch that. Two accounts is a lot as is.
I'm not so worried about them. I'm totally fine missing dailies on them if I get too busy. It's more a combination if other things like being busy at work, having packed weekends, being bored by the new non-Lang characters they keep releasing, seeing how checked out the Zlong community managers are, etc.
Sho needs kills. Hence he is not used.

Wow, Guyver was one of my favorites...in the 1980's. I didnt think anyone even remembers it, as the anime series never completed. Only in the manga...and it was drawn out far too long. Cool these characters are in the game. But Archanfel can supposedly destroy the whole planet...so....overpowered?
Imagine if the third pick was Tetsuro and he was joke character like Jogurt in Shining Force.
I return for this event, 3 months ago. First game with guyver characters.
There was a Guyver remake anime that came out in the 2000s. It goes farther into the story then the 90s OVA did. I dont know if it covers the whole manga though.
@@ZillaTheTegu The newer one doesn't cover the whole manga either, but it does at least introduce the gigantic forms and Archanfel.
I myself have been playing since launch, but this last month ive lost interest massively, in saying that, im definitely skipping this one, also you have to do what feels right for you ❤
They need to make major updates for joined battles, new maps, better rewards, no Guardian summons, challenges that require teamwork but not too impossibly hard, that itself would make the game more fun.

Count me as number 3! I loved FF11 but I never played 14. Perhaps I will check out the next MMO they release, if they do.
Try out new stuff, stretch those legs. This game isn’t going anywhere. I drop this game every 2 months for a month, but i always come back to watch your videos to check if i should play again. You could do the same, let it rest and jump back in if it looks like cool characters or game modes are out.
The completely uninspiring characters coming out for the next 6 months is definitely part of it lol
