Sorry for the delay! YT... hahah Anyways, left a little note in the description if you have time! Also don't forget to like this video! It helps us a lot!
Hey fam. I think it would be interesting to address modesty from the male perspective too. Chad kind of alluded with the watch but I've seen a ton of immodest dress from men at church as well - even pastors. Men can wear low cut tops to show their muscles or chest hair. Men can wear tight pants that show...things. And I think it is sometimes dangerous to ONLY focus on female modesty as if women are the sole contributors to lustful thoughts or pride in their appearance. I don't think you meant it this way at all - just a suggestion to diversify the focus of where modesty lies.
Can I just say, I think I'm a bit older than you but truly look up to you, especially Tori. You have a true anointing into speaking truth into the heart of women.
Love these: -“Don’t dress in a way that seeks love from others because you are already loved by God.” -“You should focus on changing your heart before your outfit.” -“I wanna represent heaven when I’m dressing myself.” Thank you❤️

@Sofia Sofi The body is the temple of the Lord. In the old testament, whenever god wanted to visit earthlings he descended onto this thing called the tabernacle which is a heavily holy place no Normal human is allowed to enter. The tabernacle was considered holy because God himself descended and resided there. Similarly if the human body doesn't have a living soul in it, it's not worth anything.
Aww thank you a ton, Bella! This means so much as we want to share real experience and thoughts on this topic but we also don't want people to walk away from this video and feel less than
It is also important to not think badly of your friends who don't really dress modest (in your opinion). I struggle with this one sometimes. I never say anything judgmental, but I always feel guilty when I realise, that for a second I thought higher of myself because I was "more modest" than sy other around me. This is not a competition! :) The moost important thing is to love people around you even if you don't agree with them.. If my heart is pure, I am not angry when other girls dress/look sexier than me, I am not missing out on anything good being modest. (The right guy will notice me anyway)
We are all made in the image of God so there’s no need to compare with others. And there’s really no need to show our body parts to other people. It’s a very real thing among women, but God made everyone different and God will bring the person that He intended to be your spouse and that person will know how to love you for what you have to offer him rather than what he desires.

Lol Reka, i see your shoulders exposed in your profile pic! You are not modest! Oh no! Im “stumbling”! Smh the whole conversation around modesty is just a pissing contest that ends in women wearing burkas
You've probably heard this a million times, but it is so inspiring that you actually engage with your viewers beyond the videos you make for us. Getting the little hearts can make somebody's day and replying back makes us feel like you're actually listening to us. It looks like you're even taking the video requests to heart. And it's even more special that you can find the delicate balance of staying serious and being fun (you have some pretty funny ideas here in the comments alone). Peace be with you both and I cannot wait to see what's in store for the new year.

@@starhunter9085 wow you totally missed the point…. she said our body is beautiful not disgraceful when we dress modest doesn’t mean your hiding your body because is disgraceful, but sin did enter and now its viewed in a lustful way, and yes clothing can cause bad behaviour because men think totally different to women and are turned on Visually.

@@angeldream1 the fact that most girls who are not modest want attention. I just restated what they said and gave my opinion on how beautiful I believe modesty is :)
I’m not a fan of that cause it makes it seem like ppl who arent dressing modestly are doing it for attention from others when in reality if u speak to ppl who dress that way it’s because it is what they feel confident wearing, and they Acc hate when ppl give them attention for the way they dress. Modesty is important but we can’t just assume why some ppl don’t value it, if it matters to you you need to speak to those people to get an understanding why and not assume. Of course reasons can vary from person to person but generally that’s what most people say
I'm not going to lie but I kind of rolled my eyes when I saw the topic of this video. Dressing modestly is something that I have been struggling with and I was afraid you guys would be a bit judgmental. I am so glad that I dared to watch it because I learned a lot. Thank you for always being transparent with us ❤️
I’ve struggled with modesty too! I could write a whole long story in the comment section about it, but I’m sure you can guess my story haha. my encouragement to you from my story is that modesty can be a slow sanctification process. God changed my mindset and personality, and my outward appearance (modest dressing) followed my heart change. My modest dressing only followed my newly more modest character. It will happen! Be patient with yourself and know that God loves you and cherishes you.
Agree! I’m going to be showing this to my teenage daughter. This is the kind of stuff she needs to see from these types of people. So happy I found your Channel today and binge watched a ton of episodes.❤️
I love how sweet, gentle and genuine they were expressing this, and I know it's gonna reach many people's hearts. And they've both got such beautiful and infectious smiles! They always manage to boost my mood. Wish I had have know about this a few years ago, but since then I've felt convicted and changed up my way of dressing a good bit. There are so many ways to dress beautifully while being modest, and Tori's the perfect example of that! Also, Chad's jokes always make me crack up, hilarious. Sending love xx
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I feel like this is so in line with you guys and what you want us to get from your videos - heart posture! I think it's wise for all of us to take an inventory of our hearts in so many areas but in this topic too. Love your note about cherishing our bodies because they were bought with a price and not cheapening that! I want to echo that and say we need to remember that we are temples of the Holy Spirit and that's another reason our bodies have value. Tori, like you, I've learned a lot about what modesty means to me over the years. I used to want to dress a certain way to get people's attention but as I grew closer to God, I naturally started wearing that clothing less and less BUT became more confident in who I was - Praise God!! I try to remind myself that I'm not any less beautiful than others just because every man in the room isn't staring at me. In fact, I don't need the attention of every man but the right one!! I'm not here for everyone to see anything but Jesus. Love you guys! Surprise headed your way soon.
This was sooo timely for me. And also refreshing to know that I don’t need to wear the best clothes, have a nice body, or look a certain way for people or guys to love me. But the most beautiful part of me is that it is Christ who lives in me, and no longer I who live. So that’s what people see in me!! And Christ, He is so beautiful. I really love this perspective so much because I’ve been struggling with feeling insecure especially around guys lately, tied to my appearance and not being good enough, and I kept asking God for help especially this morning, and this video popped up on my feed!! Also it’s so refreshing to know that there are people out there who would love you and see you for more than your body. ❤️🙏 God bless you Tori and Chad, I just wanted to let you know that I’m praying for you guys. How special is the favor and anointing that God has graced you for this UA-cam journey. This channel has been a huge blessing to me, and actually I always feel more drawn to Christ after watching your videos. It is amazing how I can firsthand see the Spirit leading your words and giving you His wisdom. He is so evidently living inside of you which means you shine so bright in this dark world. Thank you again, I love you two so much!
Thanks for sharing that.. I know that must be hard... Thanks for praying for us and I just wanted to respond and let you know how much your comment means to us... I really appreciate that your insight comes from a place of honor and positivity- however, I do think it’s important to distinguish that no matter how a woman is dressed, she is not responsible for “making” someone fall into sin. No one is responsible for the thoughts in someone else’s mind, and lust is entirely on the beholder. It’s taken me years to recognize that I am not responsible for men leering at me in the grocery store when I am wearing jeans and a shirt that are contemporary but completely modest. To put that responsibility of others on ourselves leads to shame and confusion about our beauty. That being said, we should not dress in an attitude of wanting to entice others- but everything else after that is on them.
I agree in part. The bible is big on both sides being accountable. Like Jesus said the men who were lusting after people need to be responsible for their thoughts. But also the women need to dress modestly and with propriety. So both parties need to do their bit. Of course it's not anyone job to control another person's thoughts- it's called self control for a reason :)
I just want to say that first off, thank you! i love that ya'll are not afraid to talk on these very very controversial subjects with respect. what i see a lot of today is Christians being pressured into being accepting to everyone (which is in some ways great. Jesus ate with sinners. we're all sinners) but there is also that aspect of we can't get comfortable in our sin because if we want to grow in the Lord, we have to let Him change us. not saying i'm perfect in this area (not at all) but i just find this very encouraging. also ik a lot of your videos are about marriage and relationships, but im subscribing as a teenage girl because ya'lls relationships with the Lord are so refreshing to see. sorry that was a long rant but i really appreciate you guys!
This was so inspiring to watch! It makes me so happy when you upload videos, like, I'm literally smiling the whole time! And I come out feeling encouraged and inspired! This topic reminds me of last year when I started going to church and feeling God's love, I was still struggling with myself. And one day I wanted to feel cute for some church guys and wear an off shoulder shirt. My roommate told me it wasn't appropriate and I quickly changed. It made me realize I was dressing for guys and not for God. However, a couple weeks later, the same roommate went to church with an off shoulder dress and told me she was really interested in a guy at church and it was okay because she's a Christian and baptized. For someone I looked up to at the time, it was incredibly hypocritical. Sadly that friendship didn't last into 2021, and I know I only need God's approval, but I wanted to let you guys know it helps me a ton to watch your videos!!
Thank you for taking the time to watch our video and give a nice comment! Also thankful you shared that story... Sorry you had to go through that though... that is tough.
i ADMIRE the way you two can cover such controversial topics with such love and truth, rather than being judgmental. it's so refreshing and really shows your intentions are good. 💗💗
I love the way you guys are approaching this topic in such a gentle and non-judgemental way. What i would say is that i think that there is not a ‘one size’ fits all with modesty, some of my Christian friends would maybe be comfortable wearing a certain piece of clothing that i wouldn’t be and that’s okay, because I think that convictions can be personal and that the clothes that you were, in my opinion, don’t necessarily reveal who you are/your walk with the lord. I think that mentality comes from the narrow minded Christian attitude of you can read someone’s heart from their clothing, 1 Samuel 16:7 - “God does not see as a mortal, who sees the appearance. The Lord looks into the heart.”. I 100% agree with what you said about where we get validation from, like are we wearing revealing clothing to get attention or is it because it makes us feel beautiful and we feel at peace with it. Also what you said about context was beautiful and what we’re representing because as christians we definitely do have a responsibility to present ourselves, including what we wear, in high regards. I would recommend watching the UA-camr, God is Grey’s video on Modesty, she is a progressive Christian, which I am not one and do not agree with a lot of what she says, however, her video on modesty is really eye-opening to the damage of modesty culture and the damage that the church has caused particularly young women to feel shame about their bodies and that nobody talks about male modesty because some women are also visual, like men. She also talks about the very real damage the way in which some people talk about modesty in justifying rape culture, with the idea that if a woman wears a particularly piece of revealing clothing then she deserved to be sexually assaulted. But i really appreciate your video on this topic, you guys approached it with such grace and purity, i love you guys and hope this hasn’t come across in an argumentative or rebellious way at all, as i agree with a lot of what you guys said, but i also think that there is a lot more depth to this topic in terms of what i mentioned about. Always praying for you guys! Big love!❤️
Aww thanks for typing all of that and taking time to encourage us and point out the scripture and other youtube resources! Not sure if you watched the full video, but Tori literally said what you are stating in this comment about how she is not going to say "don't wear this, or wear this" hahah. She said modesty is about context and she mentioned wearing different clothes for different situations and body types etc... So we don't receive this as argumentative at all! We are not experts on this and there is always more depth then a 22 minute video! Just like every video we post there is always a ton more to say... Thank you for praying for us! We definitely need it!
Now, this is high-quality youtube content! Thank you for sharing your beautiful views, I hope it helps others to blossom. I love this! Especially the part of being led by conviction, listening to the Holy Spirit and God’s nature. He is Love. He says these things to protect us not so that we miss out. So good!
To be honest the topic of modesty is a very touchy one for me. And I went into this video very guarded. I grew up in a family where modesty was taught from a bases of fear. That if I dress a certain way then I’ll get raped. That’s just what was said and I soon accepted it as such. But this video helped me to come to a better understanding of Godly modesty and I’m writing this from a bases of being someone who has been a Living a Christian lifestyle for 2 years (I accepted Christ when I was a freshman in High school but genuinely started living my life as God called me and still does call me to about 5 years later). This definitely helped to bring better perspective and understanding to how God calls us to live and dress as a Christian women. Definitely one of my favorite videos.
Thank you for this video although it’s from last year I’m only watching it now and it’s so relatable and important to not shy away from these topics even if it’s controversial nowadays God gives us wisdom and as brothers and sisters in Christ it’s helpful. I like when you talk about how we can be modest dressed differently according to the context (like church vs beach) and also it evolves in our walk with Christ and the season we’re in but the most important thing is always keep in mind and in our heart Who we represent : the Lord, Most-High, Holy and Worthy. 😊
I loved how you said you don’t want others to sin, and I know a lot of people hate hearing that when it comes to clothes but it’s true!! In the Bible it states that if you are doing something to cause someone to sin, Don’t do it! And people need to know that dressing with little clothing or anything too revealing causes lust, and that’s a sin. So we got to be careful in all things we do to help each other, not make people sin unintentionally.
I have to wear a garbage bag over my head when i go out cuz im sooooooo beautiful it causes every man on the street to immediately tear their clothes off and then they cry because daddy is gonna torture them for all eternity💅🏼💯❤️✌🏼

@@starhunter9085 it was actually after we sinned and the curse of sin was shown. Yes we were created to be nude but we also were originally created without sin. Thank you so much for your amazing advice and inspiration I really look up to you two.
From a male Christian Perspective: Modesty is not a dress code, Modesty comes from within, from the Holy Spirit. His fruits will convict all of us how to dress, how to conduct, how to be humble from one another. We could wear nun clothe that covers from head to toe and still be in lust, fornication, adultery, and involved in sexual sins. Type of "holy" clothing will not save us. Only the blood of Jesus Christ, believing in Him, and obeying his commandments ( John 3/16/ Mathew 22/40) will truly save us. The more we all draw in His presence and put all faith in Him, the more He will transform us. Keep up the great work guys. (Philippians 4:13) 💙

Another awesome video! The part about cursing really hit home, I have been trying to break this habit for so long. I stumbled upon EPH 4:29 yesterday, and now with Chad's story, I have a lot to think about and consider!!
I so love your perspective on modesty. I’ve spoken with friends and family on this topic and I agree as Tori said that it about checking your heart every time you get dressed. The world tells us wear whatever you want or however little you want and if someone can’t handle it that’s their problem. But that doesn’t show love or the heart of God. If we truly love and have relationship with God we will think about how we portray ourselves. I love my brothers and sisters in Christ and I want to respect them as well as being respected in all of my conversation.
Tori and Chad, for a long time I'm listening to and watching your videos. Now I feel just really prompted to write something. You are such a beautiful couple! Inside and outside. This is so nice to see you, two beautiful people, declaring so much truth and loving Jesus. Just soo precious!! Thanks a lot ☺️ Be blessed on your ways. Love and Blessings, J.
Thank you!! And I appreciate that you did not state any specific clothing pieces; you let people figure that out for themselves. I do happen to draw a number of lines there, but I appreciate the principles you gave instead!
Such a crucial, far reaching & significant topic..kudos to making a video on this! When we steer the wheel of our inner locus of control is when we truly assimilate with our conscience... It takes a lot of belief in that conviction to align with realism and be authentic in the truest sense. Our beliefs are the repositories of our past and existing reality! The comment on cursing is really cool and helpful. Dressing is sometimes easy but speaking gets tricky sometimes. I can now identify the selfishness in choosing words. Thanks guys!

Sorry for so many comments but I'm just letting you both know what I like about this!
You guys always make such honest and amazing videos! Thank you for always having real interpretations of the Bible filled with no judgement or hate! God is really using you both 🧡 I hope it's okay that I wanted to add something for those who really struggle with this and legalism if that's okay. When I was a teenager, I went to a very legalistic church. My small group would wear high neck long sleeve dresses and still have the teenage boys youth leader come tell us to dress more modestly because we were causing the boys to lust too much. I think its important that women remember that we are not responsible for boys hearts or struggles. If our hearts are rooted in God and we dress in a way that feels rooted in scripture, it is not our fault when boys or men lust. I think we need to teach boys and men that they are also accountable for their struggles with lust, and it can't be only the women who work on modesty and not sinful thinking. Thank you guys for being brave to share on this topic in a world that is against it. I hope you have a wonderful day 🧡
Dang you are so encouraging to us, Kayla! Thank you for sharing a bit of your story! And love that you said what you did about how you are not responsible for them! That's why I made a point that we cannot live our lives wondering non stop if we are going to offend or upset someone because we will fail to live life! We believe that men are definitely accountable for their struggles with lust etc
*The idea of "modesty" is a joke. God created us to be completely nude with NO SHAME and it was only when we started playing our own game that we started viewing our bodies as disgraceful. Most clothing has nothing to do with trying to be sexy, it's just the individual wearing what makes them comfortable. Clothing doesn't influence bad actions, character does.*
You guys are like my mentors! I really love you and your channel, you do so much for so many people and more importantly you’re bringing people closer to God!
This is SO good!! 👏🏼💕 thank y’all for being such beautiful vessels for Christ! Y’all all so real and loving! I and so many others appreciate y’all very much! 😁
This is SO GOOD! As per usual I took notes because I am always learning more from you both. Honestly I have been thinking about this topic a lot recently and I love the intention you put behind it and I hadn't thought of me dressing as representing God. Now that I am typing it and thinking about it I feel silly but I am so grateful for your perspective! Definitely going to go write out personality traits I want to exude. Love you guys!
Yes sin can be so selfish! Thank you so much for talking about the context of different body types and really hitting hard the fact that it is about Who you represent! Thank you for spreading truth, I love your chancel :) Prayers for you two!

I loved what you said! I 100% agree with you. I would've love to hear more about the men's side. Men need to be modest too and usually this topic is directed to women. I'm not saying you guys were attacking women, I just would like to hear more about the men's side.
Amen!! Thank you for sharing your insights on this topic. God has created us for so much more than focusing on outward appearances. God calls us to radiate His joy and light as we walk forward and are fully satisfied in Him! Praise God!
Ohhh i have been there .i remenber when i started going to church and being soooo uncomfortable with what i was wearing . But its what i used to wear b4 i came back to christ
I am looking forward to the finance series and the voice over challenge! Patience is a virtue but I hope both will be coming rather soon. Can't wait to start watching this video as I do my morning exercises:)
Thanks Guys for this video..This is such a great topic that doesn't ever get spoken about enough I believe.. At the end of the day like you said it is our heart condition towards our 'creator'. As it says in scripture we are to worship God with our bodies.
Thanks! That was really helpful as at both work and Uni I have a uniform and dress code and because of that it’s often tempting to go the the other side of the scale when I can have a choice over what I wear. Yet that’s not always honoring to God.
Sorry for the delay! YT... hahah Anyways, left a little note in the description if you have time! Also don't forget to like this video! It helps us a lot!
good to have you back ❤️
:)
I want to exude confident humility :)
Love these:
-“Don’t dress in a way that seeks love from others because you are already loved by God.”
-“You should focus on changing your heart before your outfit.”
-“I wanna represent heaven when I’m dressing myself.”
Thank you❤️

@Sofia Sofi The body is the temple of the Lord.
In the old testament, whenever god wanted to visit earthlings he descended onto this thing called the tabernacle which is a heavily holy place no Normal human is allowed to enter. The tabernacle was considered holy because God himself descended and resided there. Similarly if the human body doesn't have a living soul in it, it's not worth anything.
One of the most understanding and loving modesty talks I have ever heard, thank you for handling this with such grace 💗
Aww thank you a ton, Bella! This means so much as we want to share real experience and thoughts on this topic but we also don't want people to walk away from this video and feel less than
Yes!!🤍
:)
100% agree!
Nudity is not a sin
It is also important to not think badly of your friends who don't really dress modest (in your opinion). I struggle with this one sometimes. I never say anything judgmental, but I always feel guilty when I realise, that for a second I thought higher of myself because I was "more modest" than sy other around me. This is not a competition! :)
The moost important thing is to love people around you even if you don't agree with them..
If my heart is pure, I am not angry when other girls dress/look sexier than me, I am not missing out on anything good being modest. (The right guy will notice me anyway)
yesss girl❤️❤️
So true! It's not a competition and we are all on our own journey!!! Great addition!!!

Aww thanks a lot for saying that! We work really hard at that..
I agree a thousand percent Cosmetique!!!!
Omg that’s so true! That’s what makes them so special!

@@starhunter9085 wow you totally missed the point…. she said our body is beautiful not disgraceful when we dress modest doesn’t mean your hiding your body because is disgraceful, but sin did enter and now its viewed in a lustful way, and yes clothing can cause bad behaviour because men think totally different to women and are turned on Visually.

girls want attention. women want respect. love this because it is so true! modesty is so beautiful.
So beautiful!
What does that have to do with modesty?
@@samanthadeloid4088 I see your point sister, but modesty isn’t a suggestion. It’s mandated by God in his Word. We can’t ignore that 🤍
“it’s about your heart posture not your behavior modification,” wow 🗣👏🏽
I'm not going to lie but I kind of rolled my eyes when I saw the topic of this video. Dressing modestly is something that I have been struggling with and I was afraid you guys would be a bit judgmental. I am so glad that I dared to watch it because I learned a lot. Thank you for always being transparent with us ❤️
We rolled our eyes too! hahahThanks for the love!!
@@moodsofkiwi9285 Thank you ☺️
Agree! I’m going to be showing this to my teenage daughter. This is the kind of stuff she needs to see from these types of people. So happy I found your Channel today and binge watched a ton of episodes.❤️
They were in fact being very judgmental.
We love you! Thanks so much for the love, Jessica! And for sharing what you have learned and experienced over the years!
I love yalls videos- so much wisdom, authenticity, and gentleness! Thank y’all for conquering the hard topics😊
Thank you for being willing to listen to these harder videos!!!
i ADMIRE the way you two can cover such controversial topics with such love and truth, rather than being judgmental. it's so refreshing and really shows your intentions are good. 💗💗
Thanks for saying that! Means a lot that you felt that way!!
I like watching all of your videos for the spiritual wisdom, but also for the adorable silliness that the two of you share with everyone. Terry
We definitely need it!
aha yes i saw that there now! you guys did a brilliant job! love you guys!

Yes we love that! Thank you for the feedback and supporting us! Also appreciate you being willing to listen despite it being a tough topic!
You guys are such a blessing and encouragement to social media! Thank you so much for this!

Ayyy, better late than never! Can't wait to see your "fun" videos as you mention in the description. I'm hoping that also includes Chad doing Tori's makeup voiceover as others have mentioned... I'm already giggling thinking about his comments and his deep voice matched with Tori's lip syncing
I want to see this so much
YES THAT ONE IS COMING!!!
@@ToriAndChad Yayy!!
I think it's going to be hilarious!
@@ToriAndChad This must be your most asked for non-serious video! It's a popular idea in the beauty community, and I am also a bit intrigued what it would be like to see Tori speaking with Chad's voice. It would be funny for sure. Check out a video that Robby and Sara Ayala made on their channel a few years back- I think yours would be similar.

I love how you focused on God having bought us at such a high price. It really refocused my perspective on how much God values me and that I'm His ambassador for the Kingdom of Heaven. I can't speak for everyone, but I definitely felt lots of love in this video, not judgment. ❤
Thankyou so so much for this kind of videos! ❤️ A year ago I just packed all of the clothes that were too revealing and never wore them again. And it does not feel like I lost a part of myself, on the contrary it feels like I gained sooo much and now I feel so comfortable around my boyfriend because I don't have to worry about him having wrong thoughts and he feels thankful about it too. I'm soo happy I made that decision ❤️❤️ it was not only for myself but for my boyfriend too because I love him too much
Aww thanks for saying that... we love that you are making decisions for more than just yourself!
Love u guys! Watching you since you started the channel from Chile 🇨🇱💕💕💕
I've been binge watching your relationship-type videos for the past couple of days and they have been so insightful and encouraging! Thanks for discussing topics like these from a Christian perspective! God bless :)
That means a ton, Amy! Thank you for encouraging us!
Thank you guys for being so real and transparent. I have been chatting to someone online and one of the things I appreciate is the lady I have been chatting to has photos on her profile which shows very little skin, which I appreciate. Tells me a few things about her.
Love that, Mark!
LOVEEEE THIS VIDEO!! I have friends ( veryyy less tho ) who have asked me why I don't wear certain types of clothes ( revealing ones ) and even tried to make fun of the fact that I'm too covered up. It can be a lil awkward during moments like this but I'm so glad that I didnt let them get in my way for dressing up modestly ❤ love you guys, take care!
Dang... sorry you have to deal with that... i mean friends should just be happy that you are in their life and not making fun of you because you choose to not show every inch of yourself... We love you!
You should dress however you want to dress. The key word is choice. Some are comfortable wearing less, some more.
Love this video! As a living testament of how Christ has made me more modest, my perspective and outlook on true beauty has changed!
Love reading a little about your story!
Same here girl! The Lord has saved my mindset and heart, and that is true freedom!
Insightful and full of wisdom, as usual, love you guys.
We love you too! thanks for that!
Encouraging and vulnerable as always! 💛 Thank you for your openness and wisdom! I really enjoy listening to your opinions on this kind of sensitive topics! The way you always refer to the Scripture is so inspiring and encouraging! Love you guys! 🤗
Thank you for being willing to watch and engage with us! That means a lot!!!
Watching and listening to you is always such a joy! 💗
May god bless you both for actually making such a good use of this platform and actually helping out people just by these uplifting & insightful videos!! The "MASTERMIND" FAM is one of the most positive communities that i have seen on here!! Love you both !! Have a great day❤️

“And a coffee ahahahahah” I lost it 😂😂😂 thank you guys for always dealing with the hard topics with such grace. Stellie from South Africa
100% agree with your description - I feel like I've lost part of myself due to certain situations and I'd live to gain the confidence to get it back
Do what we are doing and taking a step back in order to slow down and figure out who we want to be as we go to where we go to go!
@@ToriAndChad definitely will try and thank you I needed to hear that since it's never been out like that before - it's normally you'll get moulded by people but I definitely need to be myself and have faith in myself and tbe people who do tell me to be myself
Thank you for encouraging that and being open about that :)
Of course!
@@ToriAndChad thank you for using your channel for good and spreading positivity and for sending out inspiring messages - they mean a lot especially in the hard times
Love that we have the chance to do this!!
I love how Tori talked about representing our citizenship in Heaven.:)
Same. I feel so encouraged and blessed
@@starhunter9085 it was actually after we sinned and the curse of sin was shown. Yes we were created to be nude but we also were originally created without sin. Just as we need Jesus blood to cover our sin, we now have to cover our bodies because of our sin. You are right about clothing not influencing bad actions, character does, and in that respect we are all born with the character to sin now as part of the curse.. so being modest in order for someone else not to stumble or look with lust is the goal. Just a thought. God bless!
@@siah6296 *When I said "we started playing our own game", I meant when we sinned things went downhill. How did you not pick up on that? David, Esther and Isaiah were all elevated by the Bible for displaying their physical beauty so if we need clothing to be closer to God, how do you explain that? You contradicted yourself when you said "clothing doesn't influence actions" but then said we need to be modest to avoid causing someone to stumble.*
@@starhunter9085it isn’t the clothing itself it’s our sin nature, if we didn’t have a sin nature it wouldn’t be a problem. So, because we do we should be modest. As far as David, Esther, and Isaiah being “elevated” because of physical beauty I would like your Bible verses on how they were elevated on physical beauty alone… sure they may have been good looking but it was ultimately the God in them that elevated them.
Okay but can we talk about how CLOSE you are to 50K!!!!!!! I'm so excited 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
And this video, dang! Love it! This world needs more women like Tori tbh. We live a society where people just advertise themselves and if people don't, they are looked down upon for stupid reasons. Specially, young adults. I'm in my final year of college and I have seen this so so much. It's almost everywhere. No one cares about personality. It's sad but it's true.
You guys are coming out with bangers ever since 2020 started man! Love you guys ❤️
Chad's funny remarks were everything in this😂😂😂😂😂
SO CLOSE!!! WE CANT BELIEVE IT!!! thanks for the love as always, Twisha! we love seeing your name pop up!
@@ToriAndChad aww thank you. that made my day ❤️
oh my goodness this is one of the best videos I’ve ever watched! I love literally everything you said tori it just spoke to me like so well and you worded everything so amazingly and I’ve been struggling with like looking at other girls and being like wow they’re so confident and I just wear leggings and sweatshirts everyday and even tho I of course believe in dressing modestly and having standards, it was so helpful to hear from you that I don’t need guys or girls to think I look pretty because God loves me already. Thank you so much for your amazing advice and inspiration I really look up to you two.
From a male Christian Perspective:
Modesty is not a dress code, Modesty comes from within, from the Holy Spirit.
This was one of the best talks on modesty, thank you for sharing your perspective on this subject!
You guys are my favorite UA-camrs!! You're always so encouraging and uplifting and I love watching your videos! I'm always cheered up after I watch you guys. Thank you for being so awesome!!
We are very thankful for you, Courtaine!!!
some many things I tried to explain to my ex when he wanted me to show more of my body when I didn’t want to….”I feel more confident when I’m covered…” Preach Tori!
Another awesome video! The part about cursing really hit home, I have been trying to break this habit for so long. I stumbled upon EPH 4:29 yesterday, and now with Chad's story, I have a lot to think about and consider!!
YES! YOU DO!!!!
Wow this channel is such a breath of fresh air compared to everything else out there in the world. Truly love the content :)
Agreed.
Ok...I'm being honest...I've been waiting for a video on this topic from you guys for sooo long!!!!! And I think you nailed it!
Love you guys!
We hope that this is encouraging! Thank you for lifting us up!!!We love you!!
You two exuberate peace & genuine light in times when the tunnel seems dark or dimly lit..🙂
Looking forward,as always, to all that's in store ...the series parts are going super!
Lots of love ♥♥♥
Thank you kindly, Shweta!!! Your vocab makes us have to go look up words to see what they mean! hahah Sending love to you!!
Oh ho! Sorry for that.
Just simply put, I try and say 'thanks for all your hard work' in different ways! 🙃
hahahah Don't apologize! It's just you're incredibly articulate and sometimes we are like... what does that word mean?!?! haha
Thanks a lot! I'm rarely told so...!
I've had a habit to instantly jot down any new words & phrase that I like when I read through articles/books... I guess that's where I get my vocab from! :)
P. S - My mom thinks my English is 'ok'!! Hahaha
You both are such wonderful lights in this world! I’ve also been loving your daily podcast episodes!! ❤️
Love that you have been enjoying the Podcast! That means a ton!!!
The comment on cursing is really cool and helpful. Dressing is sometimes easy but speaking gets tricky sometimes. I can now identify the selfishness in choosing words. Thanks guys!
THANK YOU for addressing these hard topics and bringing such Godly wisdom and insight!
Thanks for being willing to watch these harder videos!!
Just beginning to watch but so excited for this, I know you guys speak such truth and wisdom! Thank youu!! 💕

I love you two so much and your content. This is a great subject and want to thank you for addressing this! ❤️ I love your authenticity and appreciate your vulnerability. God bless you and your ministry.
Thanks a ton for saying that, Brenda!! It means a lot to have your support and encouragement... we need it!
Tori is a walking, breathing GODDESS. I look up to her so much. You open my eyes girl. And give the best explanations. Your videos are so helpful. Never stop posting. God bless 🤍
Girl! i can relate!! i had been wearing shorts that were way too short and even around my brothers I would feel so wired like I don't feel good wearing them so I changed into modest things and I think modest things are the best thing to wear and I'm not sorry to do what I'm doing. Sorry for so many comments but I'm just letting you both know what I like about this!
Don't apologize! Happy you are engaging with us!!!
@@ToriAndChad I'm always happy to talk with you guys!

Yes that was so powerful for me to ever hear! (this is chad)!
Honestly so impressed that you guys would tackle this topic! Its so hard to speak the truth in love but y'all do it in the most beautiful way😊
This is SO GOOD! Love you guys!
don't feel silly at all! Love that you want to think about which personality traits you want to shine as well! We love you!
Yes sin can be so selfish! Thank you so much for talking about the context of different body types and really hitting hard the fact that it is about Who you represent! Thank you for spreading truth, I love your chancel :) Prayers for you two!
Thanks so much for praying for us! We need that!!!
How did you guys get so knowledgeable? You are able to answer so many hard questions with such wisdom. Please explain how I can get this way!

I loved what you said! I 100% agree with you. I would've love to hear more about the men's side. Men need to be modest too and usually this topic is directed to women. I'm not saying you guys were attacking women, I just would like to hear more about the men's side.

Thanks Guys for this video..This is such a great topic that doesn't ever get spoken about enough I believe.. At the end of the day like you said it is our heart condition towards our 'creator'. As it says in scripture we are to worship God with our bodies.
These are such good practical questions to think about!
Happy you feel that way!!!
Thanks! That was really helpful as at both work and Uni I have a uniform and dress code and because of that it’s often tempting to go the the other side of the scale when I can have a choice over what I wear. Yet that’s not always honoring to God.
Thanks for sharing that!
