hi bro, i have some problems installing waves plugins at m1 pro, can you make a video for that?
They released v14 did you update through waves central?
Hi I did all the steps on the video and still didn’t work for me when I’m scanning the plug-in it’s still not founding the vst that I download
I have the same issue
What macOS are you on?
@@VeracityTT MacBook Pro 14
@@Doodlebob626 No your MacOS, like mac " big sur" or " monterey ". Which mac operating system are you on?
@@VeracityTT sorry I have Monterey
This work for the MPC daw ?
yep, go to preferences/plugins, then check off the " USE AudioUnits" box and scan. This is why I used the AU version because its more compatible with daws on mac
i dont have the mac os folder
Use the menu at the top while you are in finder, go to “finder” at the top, go to preferences, then select sidebar, put in the icons you want showing in your sidebar like mine
Hey fam everytime I try to scan for my plugins, the scan gets stuck at “scanning au” any fix for this ?
I’m on a MacBook Air
select the option that says " try to prevent popup windows" and try turning off the " verify plugins" option and see if they load. Also im on big sir still, if you updated to Monterey some of your plugin might not be ready for the new macOS. You might have to remove plugins out the components folder then drop them in one by one and rescan until you find the plugin freezing it. I have a video that show you how to put FL studio in rosetta mode, that might also be your issue so try putting it in rosetta mode ua-cam.com/video/RFyQsCe4nbM/v-deo.html
Yeah I tried to do that but Rosetta doesn’t even show up. I just updated to montesary yesterday but it was doing the same thing before. It gives me an error saying “unable to create file “/users/zay/documents/presets/plugin database/installed/verifiedIds.nfo” Operation Not Permitted”
If you’re free tomorrow at all could we start a zoom call or something, I feel like it’d be easier if you could look at my files and everything
@@3rd3y3zay7 Right click on finder and select the option that says "Go To Folder..." then copy and paste this location /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/. thats where your plugins are
I cant get it to show up in my MPC Daw
Make sure you use the AU version like in the tutorial for mac M1and not the vst. In the mpc daw, go to preferences/plugins and make sure you have that "AudioUnits" box checked off and rescan
@@VeracityTT when I download the zip it gives me a plug in I put it in Components file mpc Daw doesn't see it
@@14Nitzo810 the full version I downloaded, Had 3 folders, one for mac au, one for windows vst, and a drum kit. if you didnt get the full version im not sure if its comes with AU. does the file inside the folder have a " .au " extension at the end? If not you have to put the vst file in the VST folder instead of the components folder
