Does your total include the frame?
Yes. This was a few years ago though so aluminum prices could have gone up
@@DJLoStax Thanks for the feedback. I am a DJ in Oakland County of Michigan, love your video's. May one day we will rin pass each other. Keep up the great work.
When you first started and it was aluminum tubing, I thought... where's he going with this? By the end of the video I was ready to start building one for myself. Great job. You should be proud of that one.
Thank you! Took some inspiration from others I’ve seen and a little imagination but I got it done. I also ordered all the things to finish the wiring And mic rack area so an update on that will be coming soon as well.
Nice job. I'm so impressed by folks like you that can build something from the ground up! Very classy presentation.
Thank you Dennis it was a fun project but a lot of work for sure. It’s going to pay off huge for me in both set up time and presentation. I can’t wait to get it out for some events
Amazing! Great elegant look that will separate yourself from others. Brides are going to love it!!!!
Damn dude!! That is sick!! Cant wait to see it in action!
dude that booth came out dope!!!
Very Impressive! Great job!
Booth Looks awesome Logan!! Great Job!!
Congrats on your custom booth. Your wedding expo setup looked great. 👍🏽
Thanks! We definitely stood out!
Awesome
Video man!! Thanks for sharing!! Always looking for new ideas to help stand out!!
DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!!!!!!! FANTASTIC JOB BROTHER!!
Looks so good bro! Great job!
Very Innovative! You really thought it out before you started your build. It looks fantastic!
Well done Logan!!
This is SUPER DOPE! I'm no wedding Dj but this would be cool project to build. Great job!
Before I go in on this video let me first say that I think your craftsmanship and execution looks amazing. Now the story I experienced...as i was performing for a party in a banquet hall I finally saw the best dj I had ever seen. He was playing for a party in another room similar in size just up the hall. I stopped by to introduce myself and as I was closing in on this dj I noticed his gear sat on top of a basic rectangular banquet table with black table cloth and skirting. Also his lighting was older adj pieces still doing the job. His speakers were older cabs but definitely thumping based upon what I was feeling and hearing. But this dude was a true DJ/MC and had the crowd straight moving. His party mixes were extremely tight and all live. No party mix tapes type of shit. But the party was all the way live and I'm pretty sure nobody noticed or cared about his set-up. They were too busy jamming on the dance floor and having a good time. Shout out to DJ Nice-T if your out there. No gimmicks, gadgets, or other just excellent DJ and MC skills all night long. He's the one getting paid without unnecessary spending and surplus. I learned a lot about what customers really care about that night. Clients always need to be cautious as looks can be deceiving! This guys card leads to a link of very satisfied customers. I realized some of what I thought was cool or important was only stroking my own ego. Just my thoughts. Not ment to suggest anything negative. Again your craftsmanship is amazing. I hope you and your clients enjoy it. One love.
All very true. Fancy equipment does not make for a great dj. I went the better part of 10 years with the same technic 1200’s and rane 57sl. Still running a 2012 MacBook Pro. However what I’ve found is as I raise my prices clients DO start to pay attention to your set up. (Example would be my all white set up. Brides love the look and want it at their wedding) also this booty has a lot more to offer than just looks. It’s going to cut my set up time down tremendously all while allowing me to use the tv for monogram or video/ slide shows. It’s still cold as balls here in Michigan so I haven’t had a chance to finish the booth but once I do I will shoot a set up video showing how fast it will make things for me.
@@DJLoStax Awesome brotha. What part of Michigan may I ask?
Im impressed 😮
Man this is nice!! I need one
Dope build bro!!!!!
Nice job 👍
Looked impressive in that picture at the end 😎🎧👍🏻
If you decide to build these I would love one. This is freaking awesome dude!! Just came across your channel. Keep up the good work!
Definitely looks wicked! My thing with this concept is it’ll get covered once the dancing starts. At least the way most events are setup for me. No stage, centered on the dance floor. But it’d be really nice to have.
I can understand what you mean. My thought on it is the presentation is just awesome. It’s going to speed my set up time up a ton and I will be using it mostly as a way to show engagement or family photos early in the evening before open dancing starts. After that I’m think i will likely switch to a monogram or some sort of image.
Beauty !
Very Impressive set up! Your passion for what you do is obvious. The videos are relatable. Real stuff like: “see you in the morning” and then, “ ok I lied”. Cause your’e still up working on it past midnight. I can relate. Lol. Or acknowledging a bad cut or error along the way. No doubt that the end result is Very Professional but it’s fun to see and hear thoughts along the way.
Great work I love it , just wish you would have showed how you put the tv in there. I'm about to do one myself.
Hi there, thank you for sharing, how heavy would you say in this project? Tia
NICE!
Good job! Looks awsome. Maybe next year when I get a van to transport it. Let me know if you build and sale some.
Can you show how you mounted the tv
Really wanted to see how you installed the tv
Nice
Hi my name is Nigel I saw your video what is the measurement for a DJ video booth I'm thinking about building one 32"TV costum made
Mint! 😉👌
Thanks for sharing that just says alot of you you’re not in it for the money you’re in for the humbleness and the drive and the help for others, i was waiting for a video like this for the longes i build something similar but it didn’t work with your video i got a better idea.
Mad fresh. Only a G in cost? Time to scale up your production and launch a booth building biz.
I'm a DJ out of KY and have been scouring the internet for DIY Video booth ideas. I think you nailed it with this one. Is there any way you could provide the measurements of your aluminum frame? TIA!
Very nice. I only have one suggestion..... Make me one..... haha
This looks cool but how do you transport this must be super heavy what about Stairs and do you have a cover for it? It would have been Awesome if the whole thing was Aluminium then powder coated but probably super expensive when I saw the aluminum tubing that's what I thought it does Look Impressive and the DJ Expo set up looked Amazing congratulations
Booth looks amazing! where did you get your backdrop for the expo?
It’s actually just the giant rose back drop from PBbackdrops.com and I projected my logo on it.
Do you have the measurements for the booth?
Wow! Awesome build! Where are you gonna get your monograms from? Or do you create them? Thanks!
So far I’ve been making them myself
awesome booth. let me ask, what do you use to transport it to your shows? a trailer?
Yes I have a 6x12 enclosed trailer
I love the design.. What are the specs
what would you do different next time?
Thats a clean booth, bog up, tho i would have taken a different route
Tight Video Dj LoStax.. Subscribed.... Did you plan from the the beginning to trailer this to your mobile gigs? Looks like a two person move.
Yes the plan is to trailer it. I have a 6x12 enclosed trailer.
Amazing build bro you could sell these 💯
PVC looks great until it’s gets scratched or dinged. How do repair it
Magic erasers and a heat gun. It’s actually way more durable than wood.
Hello .. is it possible to send me the manufacturing plan please ??
Nice job on this. Question - what are your side panels made out of? Like a white fiberboard?
Pvc panels.
@@DJLoStax Appreciate the reply. Where did you get the panels from? Home Depot? I can't find it anywhere locally where I live. How is this holding up for you?
Yes Home Depot. It’s held up really well. I love the pvc because it’s not painted so no worries about paint chipping or anything like that
@@DJLoStax Love it. Good to know. Last question, I promise lol.. you just simply pre-drilled and screwed the pvc into the metal frame? And glued on the trim pieces?
Yep exactly. Them I used white caulk on all of the seams to tie everything together. I’ve had to touch up some spots but it’s held up well over all. It’s gone out to 13 weddings this year so far and all I’ve done is wipe off some spilled drinks
What are the measurements?
Looks sick brother! Great job! Are you going to mobile beat las Vegas this year?
No I won’t be at mobile beat. The next conference I’ll be attending is Midwest Dj’s live.
@@DJLoStax IF you go to MWDJL next year let me know. Id like to meet you
I’ll be there
Nice build! Excellent craftsmanship. Are you a carpenter by day?
Thank you. Not a carpenter by day but I would say building things is one of my many hobbies.
I'm curious how you mounted the tv without using the mounting holes.
It’s just pinched between the rear shelf support and the aluminum angle I mounted to the frame. It’s not going anywhere without removing that support.
@@DJLoStaxIf something happens to the TV, would you have to take the booth apart to change it?
Yes but it wouldn’t be hard. Just 4 screw on the top shelf and 2 holding the bracket in place behind the tv. I wouldn’t have to remove any trim or any of the decorative pieces.
This looks good man! How’s it holding up? I really need a booth because of an injury. But don’t wanna wait for Toad and others to produce one if I can do it myself.
It’s holding up very well I did have to go through a little trial and error before I found an adhesive that would stick well to the aluminum I also had to rough up the aluminum to get the trim to stick
@@DJLoStax What adhesive did you use? As I have been putting plans together I have been thinking about the use of screws, or adhesives, or both.
Would love the plans for the aluminium structure
Shot me a message on Instagram I can send it over to you
I'd love the have the plans as well.
@@DJLoStax I'd love the plans as well. Thank you in advance.
@@DJLoStax how can I get the plans for the structure?
I just built one myself. 1.5” extruded aluminum with a 50” tv on the front. Very similar in design. I like yours better because it’s all white with trim. Mine is aluminum with black ABS plastic. Looks like a road case.
Very nice work, bud.
You can check mine out On a couple of videos on my channel.
put the glass and etch your dj name
Shut up and take all my money!
