How about the slide out piece you have your mixer on Ive been looking for something just like that
amzn.to/3xpuxyh
Random thought but I would pay for a more detailed video on how you built and guessing others would too.
You did a great job on it
Awesome job
Love these booth builds. There’s only two things that different as I’m building mine right now, 1: I’m leaving 4u of rack space to run cables about 4 inches deeper into the booth so the cables won’t be tripping my or risking getting ripped out, and 2: I’m doing a full cover for a flush top. Like a hoerboard
This is amazing ... I envy the fact you have a way to transport it. I would definitely go this route if I had a Promaster or a trailer. Great job.
Love the booth! We’ve been kicking around the idea of building one as well!
Would love to see more of the building process- if you filmed any.
I know there are many ways to build a frame and aluminum is great! Did you weld or connect frame another way? Would love to see more of it!
Looks great!!
That’s awesome!
Great job on the booth. I love it.
Great booth. It’ll look great at weddings
Excellent custom build DJ LoStax
Awesome work brother. It looks better than some video booths I seen
Love this
Well done!🎉
Great booth. Your last one gave a lot of inspiration for what I currently run (not the same, but definitely some great parts that I took away). You gave me some great ideas on what to change up should I decide to make a new one.
Thanks Dan! I definitely got my moneys worth out of my first booth probably 10 times over. I’m super excited to get this one out to some gigs.
Excellent craftsmanship! I noticed you moved your rack to the right side. Funny, I did the same with my new booth. I only use a 4U space though. I wanted to leave as much space as possible for storage during load in/out. I'm looking forward to see your booth in action. Take care.
I LOVE YOUR DJ BOOTH
Very nice 👍
Very , very nice.. but how do you transport it safely and easily?
Loving this booth. I'm trying to figure out if I'm capable of building something similar myself. How much for you to drop your blueprint for this build and 80/20 order? I realize its custom but at least I would have something to start from to make dimension adjustments.
Great booth! How did you get the tv to mount into the aluminum frame? Also, is the tv removable if there is an issue with it?
Looks great. Would you say it’s a lot cheaper to build my own or go with the toadmatic? How much did you spend for the build alone not including the dj gear ect.
How did you make the power con that plugs booth power and then into the wall?
Nice! Where did you get the 80/20 aluminum?
How did you keep the tv attached to the booth?
Keep your amazing dj booths in Michigan😂
Unless you want to build me one too at which point let me know! Let’s talk $. :-)
How did you make it and brilliant idea
Yep yep it looks Great my brother, now let me use that ☺️ lol just joking 🤣 nah , you are ready so get your Jam on my brother nice work
Looks sweet! It appears you used the square tube for the main frame and the rectangle tube for the horizontal bars? Been sketching mine out and wondering if just using square all the way was the move or not?
The verticals are 2x2. The shelves are 1x1 and the top/ bottoms of the sides and front are 1x2
@@DJLoStax Ok thanks for the info! Did you buy them pre-cut or did you cut them yourself? I'm looking at both options.
I got them pre cut but you could cut them yourself pretty easily. Aluminum is a pretty soft metal. The cost to have them cut off want that much more and worth the time savings in my opinion. It just takes more planning on the front end so you get the right measurements
Nice job, what is your plan B if you can't get booth into certain venues?
This is my second tv booth. I’ve use the last one for the past 3 wedding season. All of the venues in my area are ADA compliant and I also bring a ramp thats come in handy if there’s a step or two in my way. Worst case I keep a table and skirt in my trailer.
Question for today :) I notice there aren't any handles on the side ...if you have to lift over a door way or something do you just lift from the bottom?
Just lift from the bottom. Most doorways the wheels just roll right over
@dj lostax how are you connecting the pvc trim to the 8020 aluminum?
Construction adhesive
super impressed that you did this yourself! Are these the 10 series 8020 frames or a different one?
I don’t remember the exactly styles but as long as they are all the same it would be fine. This is made up for 2x2, 1x2, and 1x1
@@DJLoStax thanks for the response. Aside from the tv being placed between the glass and shelving, What is the tv actually resting on top of at the bottom?
It’s sitting on a piece of 1x1 tubing that I ordered in black so it blends in.
Amazing build. Can you describe the type of 8020 extruded aluminum? The upright ones look different than the horizontal ones?
4 corners are 2x2. The bottom and tops are 1x2 and the shelves are 1x1
Do you have a rough list of the pieces used and lengths?
Hi Man Love the craftsmanship on this! What type of fasteners did you go with for the 80/20 and how are they holding up so far? I was thinking of doing some type of gusset bracing and wanted to take your opinion?
Just self tapping screws in the ends of the pieces. It’s all held up really well. One season down and everything is still nice and tight
Any recommendations on specific tapping screws/washers? Did you get the ends of the 80/20 machine drilled?
I used the self tapping screws from 80/20 to hold everything together. The casters I used 1inch 1/4-20 bolts with lock washers. Those I did have to drill the holes out for.
I have a similar setup I use a TouchMix 16
This is awesome I’m curious where you order the aluminum pieces from?

I just saw this on the gram! This is beautiful, did you build it?
Yea. I’ve been working on it slowly all winter.
Looks amazing! Well Done, Sir. How much roughly in parts to build this bad boy?
To be honest I kinda lost track but somewhere in the $2000-$2500 range
Hey DJ LoStax. I'm DJ Travis/TM Productions. I think the booth is super epic! I do have a question, how did you put the frame together? Did you weld it, screw it. I am wondering cuz I'm getting a design together myself to custom build my own. Thanks

Hi, I'm completely sold on the DJ booth, it's really beautiful, .. but the question is what does that booth cost without TV? can you specify that on material?
thanks in advance
I have about $1500 into materials plus the cost of the TV
Question Brother, what series 80/20 Aluminum extrusion , 10 or 15.
can you also provide the Aluminum distributor. searching in order to build one. but not sure what size and connecting hardware to use. I also want to mount a TV and cover the frame in white. Thanks for what ever info
I used the 25 series. Vertical’s are 50/50 top and bottom are 25/50 and the shelves are 25/25
8020.net/
Thanks for reply, another ? how did u mount the paneling? glued or screw it through.
The panels just slide into the channels of the 80/20. The trim i used construction adhesive. Lots of it
Thanks brother
you must have built this knowing most of your regular venues are level/easy access?
What 80/20 pieces did you use?
There is a link in the description to the cutlist
Ah I see@@DJLoStax
Nice job man! Just the one question please…. How do you protect your tv screen? Do you have a glass/plastic screen to guard against drunks and drink splashes? Thank you for your reply
Dj boom
Yes there’s a piece of plexi in front of the tv
What was the name of the custom DJ booth you talked about? I looked it up and can't find it. Maybe my spelling. LOL
Toadmatic
Hello,
I see that you have a sound switch, I have a question, do you know how to create a fixture in this program? I have the heads of a Chinese manufacturer and I would like to run them. I will be grateful for the hint.
You cannot. But what you can do is search the Chinese manufacturers name or try generic and go through until you find one that works for that fixture. That’s what I had to do for my uplights. Took some trial and error but I finally found the right one.
What do you do when there's No Elevator LOL
💀
@@DJLoStax Looks Dope but In NY not everyplace is Flat and some places have coble stones and uneven surfaces and all kinds of 3 steps to get in here 2 steps there LOL
Oh i feel you! Watch my gig log from a few months ago. I was at a venue with cobble stone. Shit was about the death of me for real.
