I did the same thing. I fell in love with cooking because my grandmama and I cooked together, and it was so much fun. I never became a chef but I did cook a lot. Don’t you dare beat yourself up for that.

Yep, the rice at the bottom of the paella is called socarrat. It’s considered to be the delicacy in paella. Where it’s scraped from the bottom and added to the top.
