Hi Marty, I've only been playing 18 months and just tuned 2nd guitar to G last month. Your enthusiastic style of playing /teaching has been a true inspiration and I'm attacking Stones' numbers with rare gusto. Many thanks.

Marty, you are so awesome. I know this will sound stupid to someone as learned as you, but I am self taught and learn by watching and hearing others play and wondered why I could never play a Stones tune. Duh!! Different tuning!! I learn so much from you. Thank you so much for making these vids. Your karma is going to be tremendous!

I do this a bit differently. I tune my Guitar to Open E & put a capo on the 3rd Fret to get Open G Tuning w/ an additional High String. It adds a bit more sparkle.

Hi, Mr, Marty my name is Jalynn, I'm 14 and have been playing for 2 months on my acoustic guitar and love it. I really want to play "lady" by Kenny Rogers on my guitar for my parents for their 25 anniversary, the song was their song that they danced to at their wedding. So if you could do a beginner tutorial on the song I would love to use it to play the song. Thanks,
    one of you biggest fans

There's a character in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure who has a reference to the Sticky Fingers album. His theme in the All Star Battle game sounds like Brown Sugar and Jumpin' Jack Flash got fused into a holy song.
It's a shame he got totally destroyed.
