Yes....This is good to know about the group as a whole... But for the individual members, the one by Taylor Nakamoto is the best and newest right now. And please, for the love of God, record yourselves watching it😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I am 69 years old. I have been through the Beatles, the Stones, Herman's Hermits, Jethro Tull, The Monkees, ZZ Top, The Cars, Carly Simon, Chicago, Michael, Joni Mitchell, Annie Lenox, James Taylor, Quentin Marsalis, Cher...you get my point. I have been a fan of several other Korean groups. Nothing compares to BTS. They are unique and you will feel privileged to know them.
JK is a sweetheart, you were discussing liking authentic people and JK is genuinely one of the sweetest people I have come across. Seriously, all staff, fan, random person on the street interactions with all the guys leave them with glowing reviews but often, after shows when the cameras are off, fans will catch videos of JK helping staff clean the stage as they leave the venue!
Yeh right the entire group are just world class people who are totally genuine in how they come across…. But JK is my number one … he’s someone who doesn’t understand his own hype bc he’s just so humble and down to earth… they’re all down to earth for sure… but JK just hits different imo I think bc of his passion for singing and his music is so inspiring .. he’s such a precious guy
It was so endearing to see you fanboying over JK's vocals. We understand why people get confused and think they are lipsyncing because that's what most artists do in live shows. But they have teased viewers so many times and stopped singing and changing lyrics on stage suddenly to show they're not. Of course, there are tons of videos that show their vocal abilities but you'll be really impressed when you see JK singing just casually on live streams without a mic or anything. Just sitting and chatting with fans and then we get a free concert for over 2 hours. In case you have time watch the making of his song 'Euphoria'. His voice has matured so much over the years and it has only become better. And to think he's not even 25 yet blows away my mind.
Great reaction and interesting chat. Loved it. I think that if you dislike arrogance, you’re going to like BTS. If you like lots of behind the scenes content, you’re going to like BTS. If you like super talented, hard working and creative musicians, you’re going to like BTS. If you want to see their growth chronologically in more detail, I recommend the Rise of Bangtan series. 👋🇬🇧
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS , I agree, the Rise of Bgantan is the best docu-séries about BTS growth, since before their début days. You also should enjoy Burn the stage, Bring the soul and Break the silence : 3 full movies, + épisodes séries about their world tours. Stage and performances, but also behind the scenes, thougts, dramatic or funny moments : they wanted to show who they really are to their Army fans, with their joy, crazyness, fears, failures.
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS The Rise of Bangtan is a 21 Episode docu-series. Each episode is about 30 minutes long, and it's a very well done, and professional, and thoughtful, docu-series, put together by a very talented BTS ARMY, and her team. She has said it will be finished at 23 episodes. There are also deleted scenes and bonus content. I will link the trailer for you: The Rise of Bangtan (Official Trailer) - ua-cam.com/video/SSaz25aJHyA/v-deo.html
Please don’t hesitate watching long BTS documentaries or BTS shows. We have seen it all, multiple times and we will watch it again with you guys! We love genuine BTS reactors.💜
I'm 50 and I've come late to the party. My daughter has loved kpop and BTS since the beginning. I finally gave it a chance and realized....these are the hardest working group of people I've ever seen in my life. That work ethic in people so young is extraordinary. Then their message...I actually apologized to my daughter. She was right and never have I been so glad to be so wrong. This is coming from a blues rock and metal lover.
If you’re a JK fan you will like the video called Jungkook: the Main Vocalist of BTS by IdaS. It really shows you how hard he works and how talented he is.
I agree many new people to BTS who are not aware of of actually how many parts JK has being the main vocalist of the group and he took that one at 15 years of age which is really unheard of in a group. The trust they had in him is just amazing.
BTS are just genuinely good hearted people who want to leave the world in a better place than they found it. That singular goal & their genuine regard & respect for every member of their team gives their considerable talents that extra push for me.
The struggle trying to remember their names brought back so many memories, a good amount of us start like this so don't worry. Kyle fanboying over Jungkook's vocals was so relatable. I love this format it was so fun.
Bts has many behind the scenes documentaries from their concert tours, Burn the stage, Bring the soul and Break the silence. They also have behind the scenes of their music videos and a fanmade documentary Rise of bangtan goes through their life from day one. I can see you loving any of these. Burn the stage ep 1 is open to all in youtube and the rest is on youtube premium for watch. Loving your Bts journey so much!
I am 49 years old - mathematician, artist and rock fan. I have been Army for 6 years now and honestly I have never admired anyone so much ... They are extremely talented, hardworking, persistent, intelligent. BTS is not just music, they are an example of humanity, warmth, love... Greetings from Bulgaria. 💜💜💜
Jungkook actually often does livestreams where he sits in a chair and sings, either alone or along with the songs that he plays. He's literally just vibing, but it sounds incredible. I would recommend it, but based on your reaction to what he did in the documentary, I'm afraid it could be lethal 🤣🤣🤣
i really love how they've built it around music uniting people in 2021 BTS performed a cover of Fix You by Coldplay on MTV unplugged. it was so gorgeous, and coldplay fans were very very welcoming!! but unfortunately it also brought to the surface some loud racist individuals, so loud to the point when other celebrities who are friends with bts started making statements that racism is unacceptable and "humor" shouldn't be a justification for racism. i won't dive deeper or drop names, xCeleste touched this topic a little in the BTS Hardships video if you'd like to watch and react. In the end all that situation eventually led us to a full collaboration between BTS and Coldplay from a Weverse article (Weverse is a media source & platform launched by BigHit): "BTS’s latest collab “My Universe,” was made through a kind of understanding between the group and Coldplay. The collab itself had been under consideration much earlier, but Coldplay’s name came up when a German DJ made racist remarks about BTS in early 2021 while preparations were being made. Both BTS and Coldplay clearly opposed the idea of racism. Consequently, this social awareness found its way into the final product when it was eventually released, making the collaboration about more than just the song itself." the lines from the song are "they said we can't be together because we come from different sides". i love this song so much
Racism is unacceptable in any form. I know that Halsey, Chris Martin, and Tom Holland have been a few big names in the fight to make sure BTS is recognized for their talents and contributions and taking a stand against any racist or prejudice comments, remarks, or actions involving the group and their art.
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS unfortunately they still face racism and hatered regularly. i respect bts immensely for the fact that they take this role of a shield to break through and bring new norms. being a person, a group, an act, being whoever who push boundaries to make world better is very hard, you are the first one who will get burned. they often say some social moments and improvements are not exactly their purpose, but if they help the cause in any way they are glad. for example, they've said it about them breaking the stereotypes about what masculinity is. they've been mocked for wearing make up, for being emotional or gentle, too feminine, but they never gave up on being themselves despite that, and i respect them so much. they always give us an example and courage to fight for ourselves. that's why we will always fight for them (metaphorically lol)
My Universe was nominated for top rock song for the billboard music awards, which makes BTS the first Korean artists to ever be nominated in that category.
I loved this reaction/podcast. You 2 are fantastic! I love that you not only looked into the videos people requested but you also took the time to do some research. You have no idea how refreshing it is to hear someone talk about what they are watching and actually reference the things they found out about it (as opposed to looking at the screen and asking the viewers to explain the context to them). Thank you for this. One video series that has been recommended in the comments (and I agree with) is 'THE RISE OF BANGTAN'. I want to give you some context as to why I believe this docuseries is meant for you. 'THE RISE OF BANGTAN' is a docuseries created by an ARMY named Aneesa (she is a professional editor and has been an ARMY from the beginning). She has other people that help with gathering material, promotion and translations but she is the sole creator and editor. She made this series to help people understand not only BTS but the Kpop and Korean music industry as a whole. Each episode is roughly 30 minutes long (although when you watch it it feels like only a few minutes have passed). There are also bonus content and deleted scenes. The deleted scenes are the parts that she wanted to put in but either didn't fit with the episodes narrative or just wouldn't fit in their entirety due to time. The bonus content is the funny outtakes that are there to make you laugh and enjoy the members 'crackhead' personalities. This is useful in the later episodes when you want to cry or yell at the screen - they help to put your mind back in a better place. I have watched this series on my own (every premier episode) and I have watched this with multiple reactors (some who have been BTS fans for years and even they see and learn things that they didn't know before). But I have never wanted someone to watch this series as badly as I want to watch you 2 check it out. Your discussions and take on what you are watching along with the intelligence you bring to the conversation is fantastic. So if you do decide to check out this series PLEASE do so on your channel. I seriously want to watch this with you guys.
omg yes please! everything she said!! I am so glad i watched this. I loved your insight, musical references, attention to the details. It was so refreshing and I subscribed to watch your journey. BTW I'm 56, have seen everyone from eurthymics, INXS, the Smiths, The dead, phish, U2, Peter Gabriel, Pearl Jam, the Stones and just saw their D1 show in Vegas on friday and it ranks up there in my top 5 concert experiences. Many of their songs have accompanying "explanation videos" , they also do dance practices so you can see the stuff that didnt go into the official MV. These young men have literally opened my mind and made me love music again. Welcome to the Rabbit Hole.
Hard agree. Aneesa has done such a good job with the series and i cant believe she did it for fun! Its so professionally done, has such a cohesive narrative throughout and in each episode it just sucks you right in. The way she incorporates their discography and lyrics is simply genius, bc while giving you their chronological history & rise in the industry you automatically learn or get reminded of their beautiful artistry while you watch.

@@amberpearce710 yes agree! And Still With You . I could go on and on. JK sings with his heart on his sleeve, and touch you even if you dont understand what he is singing.
When Chis went to S.Korean to record he had to wait 10 days in quarantine before meeting them... he knew he would have to do this and went anyway. Now, that is amazing, you're right it shows in the mv.
Woo Hoo! My bias is Jungkook (JK). He is the youngest and he is also the Main Vocalist of BTS and has been since they debuted in 2013 when he was 15. Please watch Jungkook as the Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S to show what that means in the Korean Music industry and BTS. The 3 that helped write the song are the 3 rappers: RM, Suga (aka Agust D for his solo work), and J-Hope. The other 4 are vocalists: Jungkook, Jin, Jimin and V. Remember in the documentary you watched on this that Chris came in and asked if they'd done any of the rap parts yet, and they told him Yes, they had written it already. It was cool to see RM sitting there working with Chris Martin in the other video too. They were all respectful to Chris Martin and he also was to them in reverse. Last comment, they performed this together at the American Music Awards last November. :)
Kyle, that smile when JK came on screen and you heard his voice, that's the same reaction we ARMYs have whenever he sings. He is just beautiful with the voice to match. I so appreciated this video and seeing you both learn about the boys and who they really are. Thank you! Borahae 💜
"Taylor Nakamoto - BTS Introduction" is a great jampacked video: it has member introductions, struggles, etc. It doesn't go into full detail with things that involve Kpop that may confuse you guys, so it's easy to follow. It is a draft, but don't be afraid she just wants to add more things about the members, but it's still very informative. The Rise of Bangtan is a series you should also look into because it explores all aspects of BTS and the Kpop industry which would give you a lot of information about why BTS is where they are now and what it took to get there. It's a lot longer and very informative and created by an Army with the intent of giving information to those who have no idea about the Kpop industry or BTS underdog story.
Thank you so much for this reaction and for giving them a chance. I'm an older ARMY and I have always been a huge fan of Coldplay, so this collab was like a dream come true. Looking forward to your BTS journey and looking forward to exploring other music.
GenX Army here- my husband has been a working drummer for 30 years, mainly metal but in his job he’s played a lot of genre’s. You guys talk like every musician I have ever known 🥰 it’s nice to hear musicians talk about making music without all of the purist superiority. I think so many miss out on artistry because they hold on to a narrow minded idea of what is good and anything outside that is automatically bad. Subscribing 💜 I recommend checking out ON kinetic manifesto and the behind the scenes documentary for that song. It shows the same consideration for musicianship in a different way, bringing live instruments and production together.
Ahah i love your reaction when you realised you were fanboying, pretty much the same one i had when i realised i was fangirling for the first time and was like "wait what? i don't fangirl, what's happening to me" lol, i've learned to embrace it, they're amazing people and they inspire this level of admiration and respect from anyone who actually gives them a chance 💜
About your arrogance in the music industry talk, I think you're really gonna love BTS man. One thing I love about them personally is that not once have I seen a single person who works as part of their staff or someone who has interacted with them in a service industry capacity say a single bad thing about them. Idk where it is from but I saw a clip of the group from a show or something they did all at a table together ready to eat and when they learned the camera operators had yet to have dinner they went over and hand-fed them stuff from their own plates. Another time a guy who worked as a delivery driver who isn't a fan of the band talked about how kind they are and how he had a note with one delivery for Suga that basically said "the weather is bad out, it doesn't matter if you get here late, please just be safe"
Thank you for your reaction! I like your honesty 😊 BTS will sneak up and snatch your heart before you know it 😁 I’m obsessed with their behind the scene footage as well and that only makes you respect them more as an artist. Can’t wait for more reactions! Btw, love the fanboying too 💜
I wish you had recorded yourselves watching the documentaries…we army’s really love to watch people discover BTS…if you watch another documentary, please record 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you for the sweet and honest review! you guys are genuine people. As a fellow JK bias, I can tell you he's worked his ass off to get to where he is now and there's a reason why most Korean music critics say he has the best pop vocal of the generation. Best of luck to your channel and may you come out of this BTS rabbit hole as a full fledged ARMY! Cheers from 🇨🇦 💜
if you love raw documentaries about artists to know where their art comes from, watch Rise Of Bangtan. it is also made by an amazing member of army. it's series, but it's worth it, you will get to know them like they are your blood brothers. it will also familiarize you with the kpop industry. all in all, very informative piece of work and i hope you will let us see your reactions to it. we will watch i promise you that :)
Exactly but i suggest you guys to watch bunch of more music and understand a little more about what they're doing and then go to this series it's without any exaggeration the best document I've seen that is made by a fan! First of all the story telling is amazing and it makes you feel like you're with them feel the same thing they did. This series also has something called bonus content(mostly funny moments)and deleted scenes (the details) i hope to see more reactions from you of bts So i suggest you listen to more songs and documents like bts hardships and this is Army by Xceleste
The Rise of Bangtan documentary series are definitely the best. They were so well made that are on Netflix level. It's something I always recommend to people to watch
I loved this. The respect you showed by taking the time to research BTS was amazing. Thank you. Also, Jk often sings on his livestreams casually. There are compilations on youtube if you want to check those out.
I'm excited to see your journey with BTS. And be prepared to go down the rabbit hole. I think you will like them for their personalities. They don't take their fandom for granted. And they show their appreciation and love to the ARMYs whenever they have a chance. That's why I'm a dedicated ARMY and I believe that many other ARMYs feel the same way. I think ARMYs are dedicated to BTS because we receive love and respect from BTS as much as we show them love and respect to them. I've never seen a global superstar like BTS who are sincere, humble and stays grounded.
65 year old ARMY here. I have been a huge fan for 5 years! It is amazing how many over 50 fans they have ! A lot of older fans are wary of disclosing their age, because years ago, the bratty, toxic fans (yes, there are toxic fans, but most of them are just very immature, and when you have a global fan base than numbers in the tens of millions, you will have a toxic element, all fandoms do), told us we were too old for BTS. But true ARMY are very accepting of all ages, races, etc….
The Rise of Bangtan takes you from the beginning before debut to now. And still more episodes coming. It's an amazing series to watch with all behind the scenes stuff. You should check it out! And all their music videos mostly have behind the scenes and the making of. They put so much content out for their fans. That even after being Army for only 2 years I'm still watching stuff I have not seen before lol.
The collab with Coldplay was SO wholesome! I think that promo period was the most consistently positive time I've seen on stan Twitter since I become ARMY a year and a half ago. Everyone on both sides was so happy to support and get to know each other's worlds. Perfect collab.
I really enjoyed your reaction. It's amazing how quickly one can become a fan of BTS. I'm a 70 year old guy from Chicago and over the past couple of years I become a passionate BTS supporter. Keep up the good work! BTW I also fanboyed over the making of My Universe. I also stayed up until 2:00 in the morning watching this video.
My Universe is nominated as Best Rock Song for the upcoming awards May 15. The rap line - RM, Suga, and J-Hope are the most prolific songwriters of the group. BTS has 7 Billboard Award nominations, their personal best.
BTS and ColdPlay is a combination of amazing artists, they work so well and together it was something beautiful to hear, and it sure expires many people, it's a beautiful song, and with a beautiful meaning...
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for giving BTS a chance and being so respectful. I’m a 51 year old Army, their music is amazing I never ever thought I would a be a member of artist fan base but BTS is so amazing. It’s not only the music which is so diverse, it’s also these young men who are amazing entertainers , comedians and all around good people… We have a couple saying’s in the fandom, the music brings you in but the guy’s personality’s keeps you in, and you find BTS when you need them the most… I can tell you this is all true, with a Cinderella story that is truly made for the movies, this group was destined for greatness but with love and humbleness that is unheard of in today’s world.
Loved this reaction and your commentary…and the fanboying 😁 JK is also my favorite, they are all very talented and great. I listen to rock and metal, had danced to hip hop and r’n’b and love other big legends like Queen and Michael Jackson. I discovered BTS due to their choreography, but stayed because of their talents, lyrics, work ethic, values, humbleness and personalities. I hope you react to more of their songs like ON (kinetic manifesto film), Black Swan and Fake Love or to their live performances, for example their Fix You cover or Tiny desk performance.
Im 37. Two of my favorite bands are Silverchair and BTS, so that’s an awesome reference! Everything about them really just makes you smile. I’ll be watching some behind the scenes thing of theirs and realize that my cheeks are hurting. I’ve never seen anyone go down the BTS rabbit hole and be disappointed. Have fun. 💜
Aww 😭🥺 Everytime JK comes up on the screen or when you can hear his voice, your smile 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 JK is our maknae, the baby in the group, also the main vocalist! Youre right, his pitch is insane!! You should watch these boys' live performance! Try "YOUR EYES TELL live peformance" its insane.
i remember the first time i saw BTS was 2015 and it was Jungkook who made me an ARMY that's why he always had a special part in my heart though i love all the 7 members cause they're all amazing in their own special way. anyway, thank you for reacting to BTS, makes me remember how i got into them.
I am a gen X latina and my fave band was PJ. I also love Metallica, Pink Floyd, Queen. But now my life took a turn to BTS. BTS is not kpop. They are pop hip hop and some EDM. I used to dislike pop and hiphop but now BTS opened my horizons and I am glad I am this way now. Hope u guys give them a chance because their music is amazing. Now my #1 favorite artist is BTS
They have only preformed this live together twice. As a complete 2 full bands on one stage at the 2021 BBMAs & Chris Martin surprised ARMY at Day 4 of PTD On Stage in LA & joined BTS on stage to close the last concert w/this song. I was there in the room where it happened. Still gives me chills.
The friendship between coldplay and BTS is so touching heartwarming and sweet! The love and respect for each other is so beautiful to witness 💜 Have a butter-ful day everyone
Love your reactions. Just one thing: You don’t have to sugarcoat your opinions. Always be genuine, tell us what’s on your mind, this way you can get better recommendations that might suit your taste more. Or we can give you information that can even make you appreciate some song more. And if you get some hate comments for disliking something, well, it’s the internet, haters are always lurking, just ignore them.
I remember during an award show, just before BTS performed, one of the hosts/award presenters fell into an open hatch, which had a lift from below the stage that JK was in and JK caught him. No one knew it happened, though some eagle-eyed ARMYs noticed JK was holding his hand oddly during the performance. We only found out about it because the host/presenter spoke about it and mentioned that JK may have actually saved his life because the hatch was where BTS were supposed to rise up from below the stage for their performance so it was kind of high. JK never spoke about it and if the presenter didn't come forward, we may never have found out it happened at all. That is the kind of human I can stan. For life.
XCeleste's "FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS" is a good start and for the BTS army, she has a different video in that name. Again, Thank you for keeping an open mind! :)
Army’s would have loved to watch you guys react to the My Universe mini docu…please let us watch you react to mini docus of BTS in the future. A heads up though BTS songs have really deep meanings that sometimes you will need outside explanations to understand them completely…Thank you for giving BTS a chance. Cheers.👏👍
Soju is usually drunk in shots glasses so no ice unless your make soju bombs which is beer with a shot of soju but even then I don't see ice in it. Next time try soju with Korean bbq its so good!! Can I suggest you watch Magic Shop Live performance with eng subs it's one of my favourite live performances and the song was produced by Jungkook for ARMY. Jungkook is an amazing singer I'm so glad you like his voice because he is the main singer for BTS. You can watch Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S for an intro into how much he contributes to BTS's music.
I buyed soju once but it had like a picture of a strawberry, other had grapes etc. I didn't knew how to drink it so it drink it pure like a beer but it wasn't strong at all. Is there like...versions? The fruity ones are delicate and the regular one, strong?
@@TattoedKiss here is the funny part about flavored soju. Sweeter it is you get drunk faster because it gets rid of the certain after taste in soju due to using cassava alcohol. It’s a trap. Normal soju and flavor has almost same alcohol%. My suggestion is lemon juice + normal soju on ice Or shots. Citron tea, cucumber, milkiss, watermelon and many more
I just came here from watching your reaction to the Grammy performance of butter. I must say I am impressed on the trajectory of your learning about BTS since the last video. Wow I didn't expect that. 😄😄😄..but it was so heart warming. There is a lot to these guys that words simply don't do justice. You just gotta dive in. I have found them in 2015 and they just keep getting better and better. Their songs have never left my playlist.
When BTS collabs with another person/group they form a bond with that person. The collabs will usually go to more than just 1 song, and they really form a friendship. Examples are BTS with Halsey, theyve become really close with her and Suga has worked on a song in her own album. Ed Sheeran has helped BTS with multiple songs, Steve Aoki also with multiple songs. The boys have a huge respect for other artists and actually arent afraid to be just huge fans of other people. They always talk very highly of the people they work with. They do get taken advantage of and if it does happen they kinda just silently no longer work with that person, but will never speak ill against them or say that they were unhappy with the experience. They really are great examples of always taking the higher road.
Thanks for sharing this with us! I love Chris Martin and Coldplay but my appreciation and love for BTS are so much more. LOL. Suga, RM, and/or Jhope will be listed on most of their songs in some form or fashion, but the other members also participate and have done more in the last couple of years than in the beginning. They also work with other artists to help produce and write music for others too, and have even done some OSTs for Korean and Japanese dramas/movies. I feel like such an underachiever when I try to think back to what I was doing in my 20's LOLOLOL. 50+ yo ARMY here, love a ton of genres and artists, but I have never seen such hard working, humble, talented, crackhead kings like these young men. Thanks again!
I'm so happy you knew BTS. It's never too late. I happened to know them early part of 2021, unexpectedly! It so timely, I'm encountering hardest times of life, feeling so down and lost. I am 65 soon. Since then I don't regret living in this world. As they say, "life goes on and love yourself", I'm so grateful I have them aside from my children and grandchildren of course. Life was never boring since then.
I love how you can see from these guys as an example of how normal men turn into BTS fans. Their first video of reacting to BTS you can see they're not sure about them, kind of apprehensive at first, but after watching that, they are so impressed and now researching more about BTS, watching different behind the scenes footage and performances, choosing a bias, appreciating their work, and to see that is just _beautiful_ 😍 It shows what LEGENDS BTS are! 💜
There are a few different remixes of this song as well. Suga's Remix is my favorite. :) If you really like JK's voice, check out his cover of Harry Styles' "Falling". Also, "I'm Still With You" his one of his solo songs that is very jazzy.
Thank you for your reaction and interesting talk about BTS & Coldplay behind the scene! JK aka Jungkook has an incredible vocal. Here are some of his solo songs for your listening pleasure :- 1) Begin 2017 Live - ua-cam.com/video/ihOUyiqvfhQ/v-deo.html { Background - JK wrote Begin as a dedication to his other BTS 6 members who are like brothers and family to him when he first joined BigHit Entertainment Company at a very young age 13 years old. When switching from Korean to English singling flawlessly was mentioned, it made me think of ONE OK ROCK (a Japanese band) where the vocalist switches from Japanese to English in a lot of their songs. Would you consider reacting to ONE OK ROCK? I'm a BTS ARMY and huge ONE OK ROCK fan! Loving your reaction videos! :D
It makes the music so much better when the people have as much fun making music as BTS and Chris Martin did. Very strong mutual respect for each other’s views in using music for healing and fun. Enjoy your journey into BTS.
Nice reaction. RM is the lead lyricist of BTS. The rap-line usually write their own raps. So for most BTS songs, you'll see the names R.M, Suga and J-Hope as songwriters. They have also released their own mixtapes, not sure if it's the genre of music you like but it's nice to see their individual music styles. The other members also write but have less credits. Love the fanboying over JK. JK is definitely special. He's known to be good at everything, his nickname is the 'golden maknae.' He joined BTS at 14 and was already showing great talent at singing. All the members are very talented and are always working hard to be better performers/artist.
Guys, thank you! You were delightful! I came from a background of a dancer, a listener of nu metal and techno, so I always avoided pop music. BTS are very different, and my admiration for their talent, hard work and professionalism is only growing with each day, so I completely understand you fanboying over them. Also, loved your foodie conversation. Great format of discussing things. Quoting Jimin, "You nice, keep going!" 💜💜💜
Thank you for giving them a chance.. they are amazing as performers and their work ethic is out of this world.. I’m 56 and love them since 2016.. my admiration and respect of them keep growing… I truly can say I sincerely love them.. they make me happy… very proud to be ARMY..I suggest react to the Rise of Bangtan.. this series is fan made but using BTS’s videos.. very informative.. this deserve awards.. it’s very professionally done..
Hahahah! The smile on your face the moment JK showed up on screen was too cute! It's impossible not to like them once you see how genuine they are! I'm glad you got caught in the BTS/JK trap! I would strongly recommend you watch a video called "Festa 2021 BTS Live Room", it's a live medley of 9 of their song and it really shows off their skills! I think you would love it.
Heck yeah! 36 y/o here who found BTS in 2017 and quickly became ARMY and I have not looked back since. BTS is far different from the music that I grew up listening to ie, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Eminem, Nirvana, Tool, and many others linked to rock and modern rock mostly. Many recommendations will continue to flood your channel by ARMY which can be overwhelming. Could help narrow it down by asking for specific types of content, if you are interested of course, since there are SO many different aspects to the group over the last 10 years. The more pop aspects come out heavy in the recent English releases so I am excited that you see that they are much more than that. Thank you for checking them out and for appreciating their hard work and talents as objectively as able and giving your thoughtful opinions about their music and performances. Also LOVE the have a drink and chat format! I am intrigued and am looking forward to checking out more content of yours.
Theyre very talented people, but most importantly, they have good hearts. Thats rare these days. BTS saved many of our lives and inspired us to be better. Hope you enjoy this rabbit hole - THE BIGGEST ONE OF ALL!
So true about watching artists do their thing. When I watched the My Universe documentary, the first thing I said was "I want more of THIS from BTS!" #moreBTSinthestudioplease
I know you mentioned you like RM/J-Hope/Suga. They're called the rap-line, and have some songs where it's just the three of them. I would love to see your reaction to their raps some include: Ugh!, Ddaeng, Baepsae, Bts Cyphers 1-4 :)
I’ve been listening to Coldplay since middle school back in like 2006 and even before that. BTS are my boys, V is my bias he has the deep soulful voice in the group you can tell. There’s more to him than just his voice, he’s very talented and his other talents for art and photography too. This came out like during Covid and it’s telling us we can still have music and still listen to it together even though we are distance.
Whaaaaat?! You watched the My Universe documentary and an intro to BTS without recording it? My dudes! One thing ARMYs love to do is watch and experience ppl.going down the BTS rabbit hole. Hope u consider recording any future videos.
How about this Docu? The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2022 Update!) ua-cam.com/video/0KonKFssKnM/v-deo.html Yay? or Nay?
this a really good one!
yes it's so well done!!
Yes....This is good to know about the group as a whole... But for the individual members, the one by Taylor Nakamoto is the best and newest right now. And please, for the love of God, record yourselves watching it😂😂😂🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great thing to watch!!!!
😎 yes
Agree. Jungkook is the best kpop singer and one of the sweetest and hardworking people I have seen.
Koo is an angel 🥺🥺😭😭

I think the best example would be when Suga actually changes his rap flow live that changes the style of the song.
Thanks for that! I will be watch that next.
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS Yes please make a reaction to it so we can watch it with you as well 😊 It's an amazing series!
A good suggestions!! 💜
I will link the trailer for you:
The Rise of Bangtan (Official Trailer) - ua-cam.com/video/SSaz25aJHyA/v-deo.html
You should totally react to this video it is amazing. Jk is really an amazing vocalist. 💜
I agree many new people to BTS who are not aware of of actually how many parts JK has being the main vocalist of the group and he took that one at 15 years of age which is really unheard of in a group. The trust they had in him is just amazing.
Agree. I've seen that channel IdaS too.
Yes, please react to this! 💜
I love the on documentary too
I am 49 years old - mathematician, artist and rock fan. I have been Army for 6 years now and honestly I have never admired anyone so much ... They are extremely talented, hardworking, persistent, intelligent. BTS is not just music, they are an example of humanity, warmth, love... Greetings from Bulgaria. 💜💜💜
You will love BTS they treat their support staff even the cleaning staff at venues like family.
Btw it’s okay if you don’t like a song you can say it. Kpop fans only get angry when people are RACIST or say bad things about their looks.
You won't have to worry about that from this channel. Nothing but love and respect here, but we will be honest about how we feel about a song.
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS perfect! I can already tell that this channel will grow quickly
Yes , keep it real , no need to sugarcoat . I hope finding BTS will make your days brighter like it did mine :)
Yes, as long as people are still respectful that's all that matters.
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS ty
i really love how they've built it around music uniting people
in 2021 BTS performed a cover of Fix You by Coldplay on MTV unplugged. it was so gorgeous, and coldplay fans were very very welcoming!! but unfortunately it also brought to the surface some loud racist individuals, so loud to the point when other celebrities who are friends with bts started making statements that racism is unacceptable and "humor" shouldn't be a justification for racism. i won't dive deeper or drop names, xCeleste touched this topic a little in the BTS Hardships video if you'd like to watch and react. In the end all that situation eventually led us to a full collaboration between BTS and Coldplay
from a Weverse article (Weverse is a media source & platform launched by BigHit):
"BTS’s latest collab “My Universe,” was made through a kind of understanding between the group and Coldplay. The collab itself had been under consideration much earlier, but Coldplay’s name came up when a German DJ made racist remarks about BTS in early 2021 while preparations were being made. Both BTS and Coldplay clearly opposed the idea of racism. Consequently, this social awareness found its way into the final product when it was eventually released, making the collaboration about more than just the song itself."
the lines from the song are "they said we can't be together because we come from different sides". i love this song so much
Racism is unacceptable in any form.
JK he is the golden maknae in BTS it's means he is good in everything💜🐇💜

If you like JK's voice pls react to his latest song "Stay Alive" (produced by Suga). It is so good
I would also recommend his Falling cover too
@@amberpearce710 yes agree! And Still With You . I could go on and on. JK sings with his heart on his sleeve, and touch you even if you dont understand what he is singing.
Yess
Stay Alive is so beautiful. I've listened to it every day since its release 💜
Yes yes to all these recommendations please
Coldplay actually joined bts at there concert in LA at sofi stadium in November it was incredible.
It's a lot longer and very informative and created by an Army with the intent of giving information to those who have no idea about the Kpop industry or BTS underdog story.
if you love "how they make it" stuff, bts has so many behind the scenes for everything.
Thank you so much for this reaction and for giving them a chance. I'm an older ARMY and I have always been a huge fan of Coldplay, so this collab was like a dream come true. Looking forward to your BTS journey and looking forward to exploring other music.
such a great song with an awesome message.

Btw, love the fanboying too 💜
So true! I think JK has already snatched Kyle's heart!

Thank you for the suggestion.
Exactly but i suggest you guys to watch bunch of more music and understand a little more about what they're doing and then go to this series it's without any exaggeration the best document I've seen that is made by a fan! First of all the story telling is amazing and it makes you feel like you're with them feel the same thing they did. This series also has something called bonus content(mostly funny moments)and deleted scenes (the details) i hope to see more reactions from you of bts
So i suggest you listen to more songs and documents like bts hardships and this is Army by Xceleste
Rise of Bangtan is what I always recommend to baby Armys. They're very informative not only of BTS but also Kpop at large.
For me it's not just their respect for ARMYs, it's respect, kindness and leaving the world a better place
THE RISE OF BANGTAN SERIES is the most complete docu there
My Universe is nominated as Best Rock Song for the upcoming awards May 15.
Have fun. 💜
Aww 😭🥺 Everytime JK comes up on the screen or when you can hear his voice, your smile 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
JK is our maknae, the baby in the group, also the main vocalist!
Same here, I began a fan of bts because of Jungkook. Im In love with Jungkook voice.
LOL Kylie's lil' smile when Jungkook appears on the video is soooooo cute. This is how baby ARMYs are made!!!!!
The love and respect for each other is so beautiful to witness 💜
Have a butter-ful day everyone

For life.
To me Jk He has the best voice in Kpop He is my fav
XCeleste's "FROM NOBODIES TO LEGENDS" is a good start and for the BTS army, she has a different video in that name. Again, Thank you for keeping an open mind! :)
I love the style of your video. the drink, question, mv, etc. Will look into your stuff. I love BTS, but I am an all genre person.
Love it!
Army’s would have loved to watch you guys react to the My Universe mini docu…please let us watch you react to mini docus of BTS in the future. You can watch Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS by Ida S for an intro into how much he contributes to BTS's music.
oooooooh Korean BBQ. That sounds awesome!!!!
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS I was about to suggest Korean BBQ too especially with Soju!!! Now I'm hungry. 😂
that's not 100% true. it depends on whos drinking it. my dad has been drinking soju with beer, lemon juice, and many others on ice for last 50 years.
You going to be crazy in Indonesia because we have a lot of types of rice. And flavorous food.. You gonna love it.
I recommend Jungkook singing on vlive. Since you like his voice😊
going to the LA BTS show last year was such a fullfilling experience, i've never seen so much diversity in one place
thank u for your honest reaction !! i love seeing ppl discovering bts and going into the bts journey
Here are some of his solo songs for your listening pleasure :-
1) Begin 2017 Live - ua-cam.com/video/ihOUyiqvfhQ/v-deo.html
{ Background - JK wrote Begin as a dedication to his other BTS 6 members who are like brothers and family to him when he first joined BigHit Entertainment Company at a very young age 13 years old. They guided and raised him coz they had to live together as trainees since 2010-2012 }
2) Stay Alive (prod. by Suga) Lyric Video - ua-cam.com/video/Nd9ODvWQYWM/v-deo.html
3) Eurphoria Live - ua-cam.com/video/zC_KsEiurvE/v-deo.html
4) My Time (Fan-made Video w Eng sub) - ua-cam.com/video/dw5SKs1tCWU/v-deo.html
5) Still With Me Lyric Video - ua-cam.com/video/Or2_jCIQrI8/v-deo.html
6) Falling (Original Song: Harry Styles) by JK of BTS - ua-cam.com/video/22VOzqS_9ms/v-deo.html
You should react to MIC DROP. Their rap in this is so good and you should open the subtitles
Whenever BTS receives an award, they always say they will do their best to live up to the honour.
18:25 had me rolling how they got quiet the second Jungkook got on screen 😭 keep doing your thing I like yall
my favorite is Jungkook the boy is very talented and has a wonderful voice, thank you for seeing how amazing Jungkook is 🤟
Thank you for giving them a chance.. they are amazing as performers and their work ethic is out of this world.. I’m 56 and love them since 2016.. my admiration and respect of them keep growing… I truly can say I sincerely love them.. they make me happy… very proud to be ARMY..I suggest react to the Rise of Bangtan.. this series is fan made but using BTS’s videos.. very informative.. this deserve awards.. it’s very professionally done..
i love the message in this. it's like: no matter where you are or are from, or what you look like, music WILL come through and connect you!
Thank you for keeping an open mind when it comes to BTS. These seven men are amazing and I wish people can see them the way you two see them.
That smile when you saw JK....yeah it never gets easier you just end up smiling for them all them bc you develop a love for each differently
Man JK is my bias too OMG I’m so proud of him 😄
I can put in words how entertaining I found the food talk. It was like when you're in a café and listen to other tables conversations
My universe was just one of the most wholesome musical experience for all of us armys and coldplayers
Theyre very talented people, but most importantly, they have good hearts. Thats rare these days. BTS saved many of our lives and inspired us to be better. Hope you enjoy this rabbit hole - THE BIGGEST ONE OF ALL!
If you haven't tried kimchi fried rice, you definitely should. It's such a simple meal, but SO GOOD.
Thanks for the tip! I need to find a place nearby that has good kimchi
Jin is the one who asked to do a collab with Coldplay. Chris gave Jin one of his guitar.
JK bias here too! Awesome review and reaction for My Universe! Excited to hear more from you.
Thank you!! 😁I knew I was right - Kyle
if you want you can found all their behind the scene of all their music video on youtube !!!!!
That's awesome! I'm gonna find those.
Did not know that. That's awesome!
@@BeardsBoozeBandsBS And Ddaeng have a behind-the-scenes video of them working on it that you will love it.
If you do UGH, Ddaeng and Bapsae, you really need to do the DKDKTV explained by a Korean to understand how savage those raps really are.
Jungkooks songs :
Euphoria live performance
My time (lyrics or live performance)
still with you (lyrics)
more of jungkooks documentary..🙏
I’ve been listening to Coldplay since middle school back in like 2006 and even before that. BTS are my boys, V is my bias he has the deep soulful voice in the group you can tell. There’s more to him than just his voice, he’s very talented and his other talents for art and photography too. This came out like during Covid and it’s telling us we can still have music and still listen to it together even though we are distance.
Whaaaaat?! You watched the My Universe documentary and an intro to BTS without recording it? My dudes! One thing ARMYs love to do is watch and experience ppl.going down the BTS rabbit hole. Hope u consider recording any future videos.
well that was our golden maknae Jungkook really had a stable voice..
You guys are so adorable. React to Black Swan MV next? 😄
Thank you! You made my day! -Cory
