I’m sorry you’re having trouble with things getting blocked. I’ve never heard of any reactions to Bangtantv content getting blocked. That’s frustrating. Thank you for not giving up.
It's really weird! I wonder if it has something to do with 1. the restructuring with HYBE and rights holding, 2. They're planning on using that footage in something official, 3. The change in US record labels, and/or (and this happens alot) 4. malicious false copyright claims. There are actually scammers on YT that claim rights that aren't theirs (antis also love to report BTS related content)...and of course you guys know it's a pain in the arse to appeal blocks and strikes. Thank you for persevering! 💜
Bts is also under UMG for international promotions, the copyright EVERYTHING.. they've even copyrighted their own artists' MV's on official YT accounts
To answer your question about the audition process, we don’t actually know many details. We know Bang Sihyuk (the CEO) found RM first and signed him on the spot, but then didn’t really know what to do with him. First he decided to make a rap group, but the other members quit. Then Suga and j-hope joined late 2010 along with 4 other people, who also eventually left (or stayed as in-house producers but not as members). In general, Big Hit was searching for appropriate members for BTS from 2010-2012, and there were many trainees during the time (around 9 or I believe up to 20 at some point?), coming and leaving as they decided to quit/were found to not be a good match. Jimin was the last member to join in 2012, and at the end of 2012, they all decided that the line-up was best (chemistry wise and talent/effort/personality wise) with the 7 members we have now. They released youtube vlogs and soundcloud songs to promote and to create an audience before officially debuting with their first album in 2013. This is all from my understanding though, there may be a couple of details I missed
Hobi was already a Trainee when RM came, he was the first Bighit trainee ever and signed at age 16 they talked about it on Festa, he was third one to come into the Band 3 weeks after Yoongi but Hobi worked as a Backup Dancer before that. The OG BTS had 3 other Rappers, one of them was Supreme Boi and 2 others, but they left because they changed the Project into an Idol Band like u said.
@@notbanksy2977 really? That’s super interesting, do you remember which festa it was? I always had the date of christmas eve 2010 in my head as the day j-hope came to seoul, which would have been after RM, but maybe instead it was the day he joined bts?
@@notbanksy2977 ah that makes sense as I haven’t watched any of the seasons greetings yet (bts honestly have SO much content!) Thanks for letting me know :)
@@notbanksy2977 the original BTS (as rap group) didnt have other 3 other rappers, but 5 other rappers. Overall, they have 8 original members. RM, Iron, i11ven, Suga, Supreme boi, A-tom, Kidoh and Jhope. Then 5 of them signed out after BTS change into idol group
Most of their writing is for BTS. They have more than 250 songs, and that doesn't include remixes or alternative versions. And the band members took part on writing most of it, and of course their solo work Outside of it, the three rappers have some writing credits for their collabs with other artists, and RM acted as lyricist for other artists from their company. Suga is the one with more credits as composer and producer outside of BTS. He worked with big names of the South Korean industry
Its 350+ almost 400(all mixtapes included, remixes, demo). Suga has almost 1000-2000 songs unreleased 🤣, he’s keeping all those hits(for sure) for future
@@rikhmjustsomeguywithmousta4971 I remember there's a video which he mentioned he wrote one song per day. I would still believe it if it wasn't true. 🤣
@alexandra Suga mentioned in his vlive that he has a hard disk that's full of unreleased songs that he has written. He has so many stocks of songs haha.
I wouldn't say who is bigger than who, but clearly rapline is the foundation of BTS. A lot of their songs are hit thanks to them, including their in-house producers. They have the most produced songs among the members as well. All members of the rapline are full members of the Korea music copyright association while the vocal line members are associate members. If you see the tracklist for the new come back, even for just CD1, RM is credited 18/19 songs. Each member of the rapline has over 100+ songs credited to them(maybe and Suga have 200+ now). So yeah.
Namjoon has the most credits, he is higher than G Dragon at this Point and on number 2 by now, Yonogi is in the Top 10 and Hobi was Number 13 on the Top most credited Idols early 2022.RM 188, 3rd most credited (2nd is Psy with 192 and 10 more years in the industry). SUGA 137 JHOPE 119
Wow. Way to discredit vocal line. Especially Jungkook who spends his life in studio creating all those harmonies, background vocals, vocal guides. It's not like He has almost 200 chorus credits. Right?
@@bee12117 here come people with low reading comprehension. I already expected this kind on response. We're talking about KOMCA credits here which JK has maybe around 14 if I'm not mistaken.
5:06 He didn’t change his name to Real Me. It is just RM. He was being pressured in an interview once for a meaning and he made an off the cuff comment that maybe it could be the real me, and some people have jumped on this and runaway with it. It is just RM.
Thank you for this comment. If you watched that interview, that’s exactly what he said just to give what RM could mean., not that it’s his official new name.
RM Suga and J Hope, are all in the Top 10 of most credited Idols of all time, Namjoon is on his way to be number one, and he is not even 30. Fun fact J Hope is the most successful and most followed male Solo Artist out of South Korea on Spotify, he is the only one that Charted in the US with his Solo work, and he broke western Artist Records with it, even tho J Hope released for Free on SoundCloud. His Mixtape is a mix out of 80s Hip Hop, Funk and Lofi since his love for Hip Hop started with dancing. His Dad is a literature Teacher, so his Songs and Music videos have a lot of Book references.
@@AngelaSealana Agree, he pushes that role on his own but in the recent 2 years tries to let his Guard down more, but he deserves the credit for the things he actually does, people always are surprised when they find out that Hobi is actually an introvert that likes to stay at home to play with his Dog and also the one that is the most serious in his work ethic and is just as educated and well-read as RM. He is the one pushing for the whole crazy book Concepts and the Greek God stuff for Map of the Soul 7.
@@notbanksy2977 oh I didn’t know it was J Hope that pushed for those brilliant concepts in Map of the Soul 7. I learn something new about these beautiful and talented men every day.
Isn’t Baekhyun the most popular male soloist now in kpop? As far as I know, just asking. I actually see in most kpop related videos exols saying Baekhyun is most successful soloist
The rise of bangtan is by far the best docuseries about BTS. It gives you an insight on the k pop industries as well as South Korean culture and society and how BTS fits into that. It's in the style of Tupac: Resurrection where Aneesa takes clips from vlogs, interviews and their shows and weave them to tell a story. It is so well done. I highly recommend you watching that especially if your new to BTS.
Also, that was “Winter bear” by V. Try Singularity to get a feel for V’s amazing vocals. I love all their voices but V’s voice just hits you right as soon as he sings…it’s crazy how he was just there to support a friend for the audition. Talk about a diamond in the rough!
ohh hoped you would watch the taylor nakamoto introduction, you dont really get to see their personalities on this one. hopefully you can watch it once she posts the finalized version, even tho u can watch the draft if you have the link, i think it would add a lot :) edit: taylor's video is unlisted, you can only watch it if you have the link: m.ua-cam.com/video/a0m_No-_fGw/v-deo.html edit: i dont want to take anything away from this reaction tho, you guys continue to amaze me with your bts journey, after watching your grammy's reaaction i didnt think you would be interested in getting this far with the boys lol borahae :)))
Taehyung aka V is very talked about and known. But we tend to call him tae or taehyung and not his stage name much, so maybe that's why you felt he isn't talked about. He has several solo songs I'd like to recommend, sweet night, winter bear, scenery, Christmas tree as solos under his own name and singularity, stigma, and inner child which are solos under BTS's name 💜
I hate this introduction because they didn't give justice to V they did random video where other members have background story and they show alot of they're cool talents but V they didn't show that much that's why i hate this introduction they always underestimate V talents and tell people he is pretty face boy like other guy said the moment V come out so this is shit introduction
17:38 bear in mind that whenever you see them talking about their ages they are doing so in Korean age, which is 1 or 2 years older than their international age.
Jungkook the main vocalist of bts by ida S (it shows why his contribution too the group) If u want to see more of his art u can check out jungkook artistic side by ida s V s solo is called winter bear
Here the current credit numbers the whole rapline is the foundation of the Band's writing and composing, including J Hope (People often leave him out, even tho he writes and composes just as much)... and their in house producer Pdogg. RM 188, 3rd most credited Artist/Idol ...SUGA 137, JHOPE 119 both are in the Top 10. Most Songs are produced by Pdogg, Suga produced around 15 BTS Tracks in his 10 years with the Band. The Rapline mainly writes and composes.
@@bee12117 shut up ofc they write songs weirdo we know that but they they are not in KOMCA. The rap line has over 100+ songs and the vocal line have significantly less. There’s nothing wrong with praising the rap line for doing amazing work.
I will comment as I watch your video so sorry for the long comment. This introduction has some spoilers but it's a good one. And although it's fairly new, it is already a little outdated. From my knowledge, the only ones who wrote for others are: RM(he is credited on one song of their fellow label mates Tomorrow x Together - 0x1=LOVESONG, it's a good emo pop rock song imo) plus he has some collabs with others. Suga is the one who also produced and wrote songs for many other people, some with him also featuring. You have to remember their debut was in 2013 and they constantly released albums with relatively little time inbetween them, add the collabs, RM and Suga's 2 mixtapes, J-hope's mixtape plus other songs by the other members uploaded on Soundcloud. They have aprox 300 songs! So the credits are impressive but considering this, they are realistic. They are just very prolific lol, especially the rapline. I mean, their album Map of the Soul: 7 has 19 songs (plus a remix we don't really like to talk about hehe) I know many people recommend Chicken Noodle Soup because it's J-Hope's most famous solo song. It's a really good song to see how different his style is from the other two rappers, plus the original song hold a special place in his heart as a dancer. But I personally recommend also checking out his other two solo MVs from his mixtape: Airplane and Daydream. That fox from Jin's solo song Moon is a reference to the Little Prince, it's not just a freaky mask :) That song by V is called Winter Bear. I has a video on their BANGTANTV channel. It's a really calming song. JK is an impressive individual but he has said his nickname Golden Maknae is sometimes pressuring for him. And the fact that he is good as so many things often leads to people overlooking how much of a hardworking person he is. Ida S's channel is dedicated to JK and has some videos showcasing his talents: "Jungkook's amazing talents" I think shows some of his art. Also "Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS" shows what his roles in the band mean."Why Jungkook is your bias" is also good. All the members have amazing talents and the fact that they are very hardworking and humble plays a huge role in why they are so loved by many. I am telling you, you will absolutely love the Rise of Bangtan series which I am sure has been recommended already. It will open your eyes even more :) it is also so well made and if you pay attention it answers many questions you may have. A little tip: also pay attention to the lyrics of the songs that are played if you start the series, because they oftentimes are related to the story portrayed.
@@indri2137 you are welcome! Other ARMYs also helped me so I am glad! I am sure i also have a lot more to learn as well as I am just a 1 year ARMY myself 😀
At 27:17 the song you asked about was winter bear by V. He wrote it for his beloved grandma who raised him, she passed away. I've listened to that song almost every night as I fall asleep since my husband died Jan 1st 2022. 🙁 Tae's voice is like a cup of hot cocoa, a cozy fire and a warm embrace. Very soothing & comforting. 🙂💜
So, for whatever reason my lengthy updated comment is not saved and after many Ctrl+c Ctrl+v.. now it's not even in the clipboard. UPDATED CREDITS: RM 188, 3rd most credited (2nd is Psy with 192 and 10 more years in the industry). SUGA 137 JHOPE 119 Yes, they write for BTS and themselves (their solo projects). RM has collaborated with many artists and he's featured, and he always writes his parts. So far he has written for juniors TXT (part of 0x1 LOVESONG). SUGA is the one with most credits as "external" producer, but those aren't that much. Still 90% of his credits are BTS or him. BTS has around 323 songs as of today :) (Korean, Japanese and English)
At 27:20, that was V’s solo song called Winter Bear! It’s gorgeous, there’s an official music video too. He was inspired by the movie “About Time” and wrote this song, basically just for fun, it’s not on any album. Also it’s completely in English - V tends to like writing/singing his songs in English since he likes the vibe of it :) Glad you got a chance to watch this and get a better overview of who’s who!
The songs shown as intros for rapline are actually from the ‘map of the soul’ album and they’re connected. Intro: Persona Interlude: shadow Outro: Ego They talk about Swiss psychiatrist ‘Carl Jung’s’ theories. And Outro: Tear is a song Suga wrote when in 2018, they were considering disbanding. So it’s a song close to the members and our hearts.💜
Jungkook, V and SUGA are the members that paint regularly as one of their hobbies. In the album BE there was a postcard that showed SUGA's painting he did during a vlive. That and some of their other art also could be found hanging in the new compound where In The Soop 2 had been filmed. Jungkook likes realistic/naturalistic art, V is more the surrealist painter and SUGA likes painting abstract. In 2010 Big Hit started looking for members for their hip hop group. Namjoon, Yoongi and Hobi were all taken in as trainees from summer to late 2010, then Jin and Jungkook were added in the course of early to mid 2011. Tae came in 3 months after Jungkook and the one who came last (and had the shortest training time of only 3 months) was Jimin though V was revealed as the last member to the public only a short time before their debut. Usually during their trainee days, companies try to lure trainees away from their companies as they are not under a contract per se. Up to this time only one group had a baritone SINGER, usually baritones were used as rappers as the public seemed not to like pop songs with deeper singing voices but tastes were changing so a true baritone singing voice of Tae's calibre was a gem (and yet they only did use him in the early songs for his growling capacity *sigh*).
have they reacted to "the rise of bangtan"?? if not i highly recommend it, it's the best non-biased recount of bts before they were bts. it's packed with information and is very moving!!!
@@Zee_K_7 yes but most videos would need editing to correct little things, it's just that not everyone cares enough to do that. so that's not really a reason not to watch it. taylor's intro is my favourite bc it gets their vibe the best imo. but everyone's gonna have their own favourites which is completely fine 😄
@@Zee_K_7 yeah i think the rise of bangtan does the best job of introducing the members - their personalities, talents, etc to us because it lets them and their performances do the talking. besides the initial introduction to how kpop normally is and trainee systems and whatnot, it's largely just.. bangtan talking and bangtan performing etc. love that so much. i really hope they consider watching it, they can take it slow. i understand its a time commitment and can seem overwhelming but it's also a labor of love by an army so i think they deserve as much recognition as they can get for it! (edit: + the editing is soo good!!!)
as far as I know most of their credits are for bts or solo songs. they have 9 albums just as bts, 5 mixtapes, Japanese releases, soundcloud songs, etc. their discography is very very very big
At 27:08. You asked what was the song V was singing. It's Winter Bear. It's the first English solo V wrote. And the prevailing theory seems to be that the “winter bear” is actually the vocalist's grandmother, with this song being intended to commemorate the third anniversary of her passing. FYI, V was actually raised by his paternal grandma, who left the mortal plane on 4 September 2016.Aug 13, 2019.
J Hope and Jimin are the main dancers. The highest position Jungkook and V are lead dancers. The 4 of them make up the dance line. But at this point all of them have grown and blended and they are all dancers....IMHO.
@@susan-bv7ym Nope. Jhope is dance leader and main dancer. Jimin is also main dancer. JK is lead dancer. V is part of the dance line. Pls acknowledge V's hard work too.
@@susan-bv7ym You seem to confuse a dance leader with a lead dancer. Dance Leader = The role of leading the team's dance practice. And in K-pop, the order of positions is divided into Main Dancer > Lead Dancer > Dancer (this is the same order for rappers and vocals). And because J-Hope is the leader in dance practice, he is called a dance leader. Dance leader is different from lead dancer.
Thanks for your reaction. I really like this introduction guide (one of about 6-7 excellent fan-made documentaries and guides). People have their favourites but I personally think they all bring something different to the table and are all worth checking out. I laughed when you said they must be writing for other groups. People will correct me if I’m wrong, but I think most of those credits are just for BTS songs and their own solo work. BTS has well over 200 songs, and more than one member will often write/create on the same song (along with their in-house team and others), so those credits aren’t necessarily for different songs. Good luck with funding for your various film projects.
@@jessicapierce3027 thanks for the information! I’ve edited my comment slightly to say most (rather than all) of the credits referred to in the video are for BTS and their own solo work. But if that’s still wrong let me know.
That song by V that you liked so much is called “winter bear” and is one of my favorite solo songs. it has an MV in their channel. I hope you react to it too 🤗
the thing that a lot of people don't get is that bts can be named a kpop group sure but it's wrong when they are only named as a kpop group 😄 there's a good video essay on that topic by bbygang
I would always say that kpop is apart of BTS but isn’t their full identity. So saying they are just kpop dismisses their whole identity… This is a really good video to watch.
@@M05-v2y only in their early years. DJ jino who grew up in the industry has said that the early years is the time they were most like the generic kpop "idol music" even with their socially conscious lyrics at the time. During their HYYH era that's when they were separating themselves from that generic kpop at the time. By the Map of Soul their music seperated from "idol music" to the point it wasn't classified as idol music only that they were a kpop group because they were a Korean group.
A lot of my favorite reactors on UA-cam have had to go the Patreon route and I was always sad to not be able to follow their journey further, but you guys are so awesome…I’m going to head over there and follow you guys. Ida S has so a very Good Video for the golden maknae jungkook or the mainvocalist jungkook- it’s very impressive to me. Also the numbers were from beginning 2021 so there are a lot more credits now for everyone of the members 💜 love your Channel
I have enjoyed all the introductions as they all give slightly different information but Taylor’s is the most up to date and complete. Would love to see you react to it. 💜
I can’t WAIT to see you watch Outro:Tear live at wembley. I still get chills to this day and the snippets showed in this, it seemed like you responded to it. It’s a heartbreaker and the damn aggression in it.. 💜
j-hope is dance leader (he helps them out dancing and gives them pointers, he's in charge of it) not lead dancer (position), for the position its main dancer same as jimin
If you wanna know about the tranee process you gotta see the rise of bagtan it'll show everything you asked. And there are videos of jungkook basically drawing and painting it's just so incredible.
Thank you for the reaction. This was a great way to start my day. I appreciate that you guys knowing their names & recognizing their faces. It may not be much but some people just dont care to learn. I've noticed in the past couple videos, but I think that speaks to your dedication to get to know them.
You had me at Baby Metal and BTS. I’m GRITS, world aware, music immersed and love having someone else share this interest, passion? Thanks for the intelligent dissection of the music, sound and visual. Everything transcends if you’re open to the truth of music.
Ah, so cool. You already reacted to their hardships and now to the members introductions, so I think you should react next to "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: A Story of BTS (2022 Update)" by The Rice Squad, as a dive into their career path and an overview of their discography (as a group). I think it will be helpful as an introduction if you later decide to react to the more detailed documentary "The Rise of Bangtan", and honestly is a really well-made video i think you will enjoy! Thanks for the reaction.
agreed! the one very interesting part of this video is the explanation/history of music in SK compared to how it evolved in the west. It really explains a whole lot as to the differences & influences & how SK music was shaped. It's a great perspective.
@@Vlc506 ack they cut my fav part! *grumbles* basically they explained that while western culture grew up with music on the radio, the youth in SK didn't really have any musical representation until the 80's. So music in Sk became a "package deal" including the visual part, unlike western culture and iswhy the dancing is a vital part of what they do. (which i found very interesting fwiw). The history of k-pop in 20 min (ua-cam.com/video/kPS4tCHT6SA/v-deo.html) is also really informative.
Expected Taylor's intro but glad for the reaction either way. Edit: Just realized the video is unlisted. Really hope she has the completed version out soon.
i would love to sub to your patreon , also for the next documentary i will recommend reacting to the most beautiful moment in life story of bts 2022 update by rice squad
They are holding all the talent… 🙂 There is a lot to learn about them. I highly recommend RM’s UN speech 2018. His speech explains briefly the core values they hold. This was a great reaction! The song you wanted to know about when you heard Tae (V) is Winter Bear. He wrote it about his beloved grandmother who had passed away. It’s my favorite Tae song. 💜💜
Thanks for another great video. It’s undeniable that all the members are very talented in different aspects but the overwhelming take away for me is the dedication and professionalism they have brought to their work. To be that prolific musically while constantly working on improving themselves (dancing, vocal, language skills etc) AND creating new content for their fan base every week/months without breaks for over 10 years is just inspiring (and crazy!). And most importantly, staying largely true to their personality from before debut despite being in the most cut throat, highly scrutinised and pressured industry is just down right admirable! And yes, “The Rise of Bangtan” is like BTS101 education course for me! Amazing Army work.
aww you cat is cute.. yeah we call Suga "Lil Meow Meow" (even their staffs joined us and they even prepared a cat shaped cake and balloons on his birthday last March 😂 SUGA himself also accepted the nickname) actually, we call Suga a LOT of nicknames aside from his real name and Agust D, we also call him Min PD, Minstradamus, Yoongi Boongi, Yoongles, Dumpling, Chef Min etc.
RM did not just learn English from Friends but it’s a good story. He is very intelligent, studied it in school and at after-school English academy, listened to a lot of English rap & music from a young age and spent a few months in New Zealand. He and the rest of BTS also speak Japanese.
This is a video of JK artistic side (painting, drawing. etc.) ua-cam.com/video/2WX62N-spfk/v-deo.html This is a video going more indept to why JK is called the Golden Maknae ua-cam.com/video/3L8QIWXq7E8/v-deo.html The audition process for the members were short, (but different for every member as some auditioned, entered competition, scouted, offered a spot) but the training period were: (To my understanding) RM: 4 years Suga: 3 years J-hope: 3 years Jin: 2 years Jungkook: 2 years V: 1 year Jimin: 6 months to a year
You have to keep in mind that those positions as "main" and "lead" were the ones they debuted with in 2013, but to fit them there now would be to minimize all the work they have done to improve. As for the vocal line I think they all deserve to be called Main vocalist now, each one with their own style.
I am really glad you gave THIS particular video a chance, because its stripped of all fan made meme BS stereotypes about them which I grew sick and tired of in this point in time. I also dislike how these vastly popular so called "informative " videos present their personalities and unintentionally ( or maybe intentionally, who knows) feed into narrative that is far away from truth. What about if every new fan made their own judgement of their personality and character based on what they see and how they perceive it instead of being spoon fed how to look at them individually ( Suga - cold and disinterested, Jin - jokester, JK - bratty, Jimin - angelic and kind, Hobi - always happy and smiling, Tae - UFO of the group, RM - composed leader....) What Ida did with this video was to concentrate on their artistry and true skills, which can be a sensitive subject to some, as some members are definitely more productive than others, but its their real skills, not fan made wished upon fantasies that start to live their own lives and confuse new Armies like hell. So much recommended Tyler´s video once again concentrated more on stereotypes instead of presenting their artistry.
Hello, the part you found amazing during V presentation was his song Winter Bear. He wrote it in memories of his passed grandma. U can find this song on Bangtan TV.
If I recall correctly, Big Hit was scouting for trainees from 2010-2012. BTS debuted on 2013, so that’s like about 2-3 years of training before debutting depending on the member
Can you guys check out JHope’s killing verse? Jhope just like RM and Suga and the rest of BTS as a whole contribute so much to their songs. I also feel like you guys would really like JHope’s style or rap because it’s very different and unpredictable. Jhope adds a very different and distinct flavor and flow to their songs. I don’t know if you understand what I mean but please check out JHope’s killing verse and you’ll understand. Thank you.
ahhhhh I'm so glad I found this channel! Appreciate your inputs and thoughts on the reactions. Also I really enjoy your segments at the beginning with the questions! 😊💜
This video is a little misleading as far as their proficiency with instruments. Suga is the only one that I would consider proficient in Piano. Jin was really good at guitar and V was pretty good at sax at one point. But for the most part when she says they are practicing the instruments, they are actually learning them. And they do pretty great on them.
If you don't know..you should know...suga is called musical genius for his passions for music and masterpieces he gifted us...whatever he touches, turns into gold...there's a common word in our fandom..."whatever yoongi/suga wants...he gets" for Suga's prediction..
Thank you for sharing your reaction, I'm so glad it was able to make it to UA-cam! It's always interesting to hear your impressions of the band, from your perspective in your respective industries & experiences.
Im watching this on my tv & living alone, i thought a HUGE bug/creature was on the corner of my TV but it turned out to be a kitty 😅 haven't finished watching but enjoying the video so far !
You would really enjoy checking the Rise of Bangtan, is an ARMY documentary where you can learn not only about BTS history but also about Kpop and Korean Culture. Highly recommended, it has 21 episodes so far and 2 more to come. You will really enjoy to see how BTS thrived while making music. Anessa the creator doesn't block any of her videos because she wants to her videos to be used in this specific way. Good luck and great job!
don't forget the bonus content (usually humorous) and deleted scenes. Both are rich in content and add a lot to each episode - which besides being informative are also an emotional rollercoaster of laughs, sniffles and "the feels".
15:16- When it comes to the credits, keep in mind that one, BTS have approximately 250-300(???) songs, and two, a fair amount of RM, Suga, and J-Hope's credits overlap (ie., all of them being credited on the same song), so they don't necessarily have to be writing for other artists to achieve those high numbers of credits. They do however collab with people outside of the group (and Suga even produces for other artists as well.) 23:28- Jungkook is the lead dancer, but J-hope is the dance leader, referring to the fact that he often teaches the other members the choreography and is in charge when they're practicing in the dance studio. J-hope (and Jimin) are the main dancers, Jungkook is the lead dancer. In kpop, the term "main" is actually higher/more prominent than "lead". Personally tho, I would also take these role assignments with a grain of salt because with BTS, it doesn't matter much lol (and when I say that, I mean that they pretty much showcase the members equally). Especially cuz Jungkook is also the "center", aka the center of a lot of the dancing formations, so he's often very prominent in choreography anyway. 33:18- this video is a little misleading when it's talking about the instruments the boys play. While all of them have dabbled in playing different instruments at one time or another, they don't often have the time or opportunity to practice or use their skills. I'd say the only exception is probably Suga, who started learning piano at a young age and has continued to play (he actually wrote a song about his love for the piano called First Love). 35:35- as far as I know, the actual audition process for getting into an entertainment company in the idol business isn't particularly long (I'm sure the methods and length of time vary, probably longer/more intense for larger companies ). However, once you've passed the audition it doesn't mean you're guaranteed to become part of a group. Once you join a company you become a trainee, and are given the chance to train under the company where you will POSSIBLY be chosen to be a member of a group. People's trainee periods can often last for literal years (I think the average is maybe around three years, but I've heard of some people being trainees for like 12 years!!) and is usually very intense, involving vocal/rap/dance training as well as other training such as language and media/PR classes. 36:05- As someone who is also Suga and RM biased it makes me happy to see more people appreciating them 🥰 since you've enjoyed both of them, might I suggest you check out a J-hope solo song next as the final member of the rapline? If you wanna check out one of his mixtape songs Daydream is one of my favorites, or since you guys like the harder hitting stuff Hangsang and Baseline are amazing too (no music videos for those two tho) (I'm also gonna suggest a three part reaction to the rapline's songs from Map of the Soul: 7; since these songs are very connected thematically I always recommend that people check them out in order and together: 1. Intro: Persona, RM 2. Interlude: Shadow, Suga 3. Outro: Ego, J-hope All three have music videos!) 36:58- Taylor's video is great, if you wanna react to that one I'm sure people would love it! I'm not sure if it's still unlisted atm tho, hopefully someone can drop the link for you guys (I don't have it unfortunately 😭)
The problem with Permission To Dance is that there's a television show that has claimed copyright on the phrase and BTS, ARMY and UA-cam reactors are the ones paying the price. 😤
@@MsKaz1000 That's why you rarely see a reaction to PTD. It's not that people don't react to it, it’s blocked when they try to upload it. I heard it from a reactor who'd had the same problem. So annoying! 🤷♀️
it's their training days that really put them in the rigor... as it's really still very much an evaluation phase. If I remember correctly, their trainee batch started out with 20
24:50 Very interesting, it’s usually the other way round. Thanks for the great reaction 🙏 I like both introduction videos: from Taylor and Ida S. Both are lacking in some things, but both are good enough. I think you can‘t make every fan happy considering the length of the video. Everyone has their own opinion what is important to know about the members. On top of that, the BTS members aren‘t one-dimensional and it is hard to compile their complicated personalities, their craft and the many achievements they made in one video. So some introduction videos focus on the first one, some on the latter. Can‘t wait to see your reaction to more of their music, especially some of their b-sides. I hope to see a reaction to their song “Blood Sweat and Tears“ and some of their older jams like their debut song “No More Dream“ and the fanmade but professional series “Rise of Bangtan“. Edit: To give my two cents who is bigger than who, I would say no member in BTS is bigger than another member. Everyone contributes to the group in different ways, some do more songwriting, some producing, some contribute more to the vocalization process, some to dancing and so on. That is also mentioned by the members, that without one member missing there is no BTS. Everyone is doing their part very well and they show constant growth and development regarding their personalities and skills.
Yes, the seven members of BTS are more than complete artists... They are full of Art and above all the most important, they keep their humility and that they transmit 100%.
We understand about the uploading issues. I have seen others say similar things. Thanks for trying. I an glad you have been doing the research and taking in the info videos. The more you learn about these young men the more you understand why the fans are so committed and protective. They share a lot of there lives and at times I worry about how this exposure from very young ages affect their lives. The lyrics to Jungkook's My Time is a pretty good reflection on this. So is Suga's Shadow. I appreciate you guys.
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. The video is actually out of date. Actually now Namjoon got 187 KOMCA credits as of 1/1/2022. I think Namjoon is the 2nd most credited idol. And Suga has 134 credits (9th), J-Hope 119 (12th). They updated the list in Jan it was all over TwT. For Jin and all of them they had amazing singing teachers. And they helped each other a lot too. Because they did not have steady training in the early years. Rise of Bangtan has a lot of that info. With V I feel look's were one thing but maybe the staff heard his speaking voice and was like 0.0 oh he needs to audition. The staff are trained to find potential and so they were 100% right. Jimin had 6-8 months of training only! He was almost let go 8 times. It was a really stressful time for him. V asked Bang PD to let Jimin stay and RM supported him. The others trained for 2-3 yrs together before debut. The more u know! =0] RM is just RM now. It's not real me. He was asked this in an interview and said no that is not his name. JHope is the main dancer. JK is lead dancer. Yeah JK is a triple threat. He is the Golden Maknae for a reason! =0p I hope u get to check out more solo and group songs. They have such great music. Hugs. #YouAreEnough --NY USA Army💜
If you really want to get more info, you should check out “Rise of Bangtan” docu series. It provide details of how they started and their journey to stardom, and even some info about K-pop history
I don't know if it was answered yet, but J-Hope and Jimin are the two main dancers, with J-Hope also being the dance leader. Jungkook is a lead dancer ( going by the explanation at the beginning of the video.)
I loved the reaction, it was so fun to watch y'all get more into the details. Just a thing, you don't have to pick a bias if you don't feel like it, you could also be OT7 (either way is fine). I don't have a preference for introduction videos, cause I just watch all of them jajaj.

I think it’s happening with lives a lot lately, I don’t know why
It's really weird! I wonder if it has something to do with 1. the restructuring with HYBE and rights holding, 2. They're planning on using that footage in something official, 3. The change in US record labels, and/or (and this happens alot) 4. malicious false copyright claims. There are actually scammers on YT that claim rights that aren't theirs (antis also love to report BTS related content)...and of course you guys know it's a pain in the arse to appeal blocks and strikes.

Most of their writing is for BTS. They have more than 250 songs, and that doesn't include remixes or alternative versions. And the band members took part on writing most of it, and of course their solo work

So yeah.

The rappers / rap line (RM, Suga, and J-Hope) are predominantly the powerhouses at producing, composing, and writing most of the BTS's songs.
Thanks for adding this. j-hope often gets only portrayed as a fun, hardworking dancer in these types of introductions. He has a lot of layers.
I mean, their album Map of the Soul: 7 has 19 songs (plus a remix we don't really like to talk about hehe)
I know many people recommend Chicken Noodle Soup because it's J-Hope's most famous solo song. It's a really good song to see how different his style is from the other two rappers, plus the original song hold a special place in his heart as a dancer. But I personally recommend also checking out his other two solo MVs from his mixtape: Airplane and Daydream.
That fox from Jin's solo song Moon is a reference to the Little Prince, it's not just a freaky mask :)
That song by V is called Winter Bear.
At 27:20, that was V’s solo song called Winter Bear! It’s gorgeous, there’s an official music video too. He was inspired by the movie “About Time” and wrote this song, basically just for fun, it’s not on any album. Also it’s completely in English - V tends to like writing/singing his songs in English since he likes the vibe of it :)
Glad you got a chance to watch this and get a better overview of who’s who!
The songs shown as intros for rapline are actually from the ‘map of the soul’ album and they’re connected.
Intro: Persona
Interlude: shadow
Outro: Ego
They talk about Swiss psychiatrist ‘Carl Jung’s’ theories.

At 27:08. You asked what was the song V was singing. It's Winter Bear. It's the first English solo V wrote. I laughed when you said they must be writing for other groups. People will correct me if I’m wrong, but I think most of those credits are just for BTS songs and their own solo work. Also the numbers were from beginning 2021 so there are a lot more credits now for everyone of the members 💜 love your Channel
I have enjoyed all the introductions as they all give slightly different information but Taylor’s is the most up to date and complete. Would love to see you react to it. 💜
She took it off for editing since one month ig

I can’t WAIT to see you watch Outro:Tear live at wembley. I still get chills to this day and the snippets showed in this, it seemed like you responded to it. It’s a heartbreaker and the damn aggression in it.. 💜
I can't thank you enough for trying to get to know BTS more. I feel very protective of these young men. Feels like I'm their mom or older sister 😄. 💜
j-hope is dance leader (he helps them out dancing and gives them pointers, he's in charge of it) not lead dancer (position), for the position its main dancer same as jimin
If you wanna know about the tranee process you gotta see the rise of bagtan it'll show everything you asked. And there are videos of jungkook basically drawing and painting it's just so incredible.
27:14 is the song Winter Bear
Yes this intro is one of my favourites. It’s a little different and more detailed. 💜
The history of k-pop in 20 min (ua-cam.com/video/kPS4tCHT6SA/v-deo.html) is also really informative.
they're the avengers. a super group with amazing talent, brains, heart and soul
Love them all 💜.. but King V is a different beast once you get to know him 🤷🏻♀️
This was amazing! I'm glad you guys are starting to learn the individuals behind the success. Really looking forward to more! 💜

Amazing Army work.
aww you cat is cute.. yeah we call Suga "Lil Meow Meow" (even their staffs joined us and they even prepared a cat shaped cake and balloons on his birthday last March 😂 SUGA himself also accepted the nickname)
actually, we call Suga a LOT of nicknames aside from his real name and Agust D, we also call him Min PD, Minstradamus, Yoongi Boongi, Yoongles, Dumpling, Chef Min etc.
RM did not just learn English from Friends but it’s a good story. He is very intelligent, studied it in school and at after-school English academy, listened to a lot of English rap & music from a young age and spent a few months in New Zealand. He and the rest of BTS also speak Japanese.
This is a video of JK artistic side (painting, drawing. etc.)

This is a video going more indept to why JK is called the Golden Maknae
ua-cam.com/video/3L8QIWXq7E8/v-deo.html
The audition process for the members were short, (but different for every member as some auditioned, entered competition, scouted, offered a spot) but the training period were: (To my understanding)
RM: 4 years
Suga: 3 years
J-hope: 3 years
Jin: 2 years
Jungkook: 2 years
V: 1 year
Jimin: 6 months to a year
You have to keep in mind that those positions as "main" and "lead" were the ones they debuted with in 2013, but to fit them there now would be to minimize all the work they have done to improve.
What about if every new fan made their own judgement of their personality and character based on what they see and how they perceive it instead of being spoon fed how to look at them individually ( Suga - cold and disinterested, Jin - jokester, JK - bratty, Jimin - angelic and kind, Hobi - always happy and smiling, Tae - UFO of the group, RM - composed leader....)
What Ida did with this video was to concentrate on their artistry and true skills, which can be a sensitive subject to some, as some members are definitely more productive than others, but its their real skills, not fan made wished upon fantasies that start to live their own lives and confuse new Armies like hell.
So much recommended Tyler´s video once again concentrated more on stereotypes instead of presenting their artistry.
Hello, the part you found amazing during V presentation was his song Winter Bear. He wrote it in memories of his passed grandma. U can find this song on Bangtan TV.
Your look at 18:18 is ARMY adoringly watching Jin.
If I recall correctly, Big Hit was scouting for trainees from 2010-2012. BTS debuted on 2013, so that’s like about 2-3 years of training before debutting depending on the member
Except for jimin though. He got a little less than a year of official training which is really mind boggling for me when i learned that.
the cat popping up when yoongis part came up tho hahaha
This video is a little misleading as far as their proficiency with instruments. Suga is the only one that I would consider proficient in Piano. Jin was really good at guitar and V was pretty good at sax at one point. But for the most part when she says they are practicing the instruments, they are actually learning them. And they do pretty great on them.
If you don't know..you should know...suga is called musical genius for his passions for music and masterpieces he gifted us...whatever he touches, turns into gold...there's a common word in our fandom..."whatever yoongi/suga wants...he gets" for
Suga's prediction..
My babies deserve all the love in this world 🌎
Thank you for sharing your reaction, I'm so glad it was able to make it to UA-cam!
Thank you so much for your reaction 💜💜💜 really enjoyed it !!!
I loved hearing about your film projects! I’m excited to see where they go :)
They do however collab with people outside of the group (and Suga even produces for other artists as well.)
23:28- Jungkook is the lead dancer, but J-hope is the dance leader, referring to the fact that he often teaches the other members the choreography and is in charge when they're practicing in the dance studio.
If you wanna check out one of his mixtape songs Daydream is one of my favorites, or since you guys like the harder hitting stuff Hangsang and Baseline are amazing too (no music videos for those two tho)
(I'm also gonna suggest a three part reaction to the rapline's songs from Map of the Soul: 7; since these songs are very connected thematically I always recommend that people check them out in order and together:
1. Intro: Persona, RM
2. Interlude: Shadow, Suga
3. Outro: Ego, J-hope
All three have music videos!)
36:58- Taylor's video is great, if you wanna react to that one I'm sure people would love it!
never heard that before
@@MsKaz1000
That's why you rarely see a reaction to PTD.
Suga summoned your cats lol
26:47 'He became the sixth member and his friend got NOTHING" I'M CRYING AHAHSSHSHA
Yes JK really does painting. The first clip of him painting is from BTS Wings Short Film #1 BEGIN, and the 2nd is from Ep.6 of In The Soop.
I thoroughly enjoyed this reaction. Thank you so much! 😃
I'm loving this. Thanks for reacting to Bangtan again, looking forward for more of their content.
Your video didn't get blocked!! Totally enjoyed watching with you guys, thank you 😊 💜
The song by V that you wanted to know about is called Winter Bear.
after they pass audition they train anywhere from a few months to a few years like a survival thing
just found yalls channel and i fell in love quick i love what you guys do!
V's song was Winter Bear 😊
‼️RM is now the SECOND most credited idol with 200+ songs
I don't know if it was answered yet, but J-Hope and Jimin are the two main dancers, with J-Hope also being the dance leader. Jungkook is a lead dancer ( going by the explanation at the beginning of the video.)
33:52 Pfff I was so concentrated on the screen, your cat scared the sh*t out of me hahahhahhh😂😂
I loved the reaction, it was so fun to watch y'all get more into the details. Just a thing, you don't have to pick a bias if you don't feel like it, you could also be OT7 (either way is fine). I don't have a preference for introduction videos, cause I just watch all of them jajaj.
