I saw another E70 video replacing the Halo bulb. It too had the extension. I'm guessing between 3"-4" in length. The guy successfully tucked in the extra wire length and installed the plastic cover. Nice video otherwise,
Wait so for the halo you only have to replace the bulb and the halo is fully working again? Holy crap I thought you would have to change the whole halo

Hello thanks for watching! And to aswer your quesrion i wasnt able to get the cap on the headlights, they been working good. I bought two sets. The led with the long fan on the back wont let you put the cap. I havent have a chance to research on amazon to try to find some shorts ones. Will definitely going to do that before the summer i live in a really dusty area and i dont want them to be all dirty inside.
Hi. Not sure why but my 2009 X5 E70 has H7 for the headlights and H1 for the High beam. Im guessing the Halo lights will be H8. I havent got there yet. Can someone tell me why my headlights are H7 and not the Big base style?
