I am currently retrofitting Bi-Xenon headlights to an E70 which has factory fitted Halogen units. Those amber halos look really nice.
Would be better if you actually showed the process of removing permaseal and rest of lens

Would you recommend strengthening that frame from the AFS with something like a copper wire and JB weld? Or do you think it’s fine just the way it is after trimming

Great job! How did you made the bigger ring with a cut top. Its not possible to buy it like this..
The Diode Dynamics halos can be cut anywhere. So modification is very easy to create the U-Shape.
great job! why didn't you install bi led projectors?
We believe in HID > LED. End of the day, it's the customers choice though. Nothing beats the serviceability of HID though.

Hello great video, what did you use to heat up the old lens before pulling out with pliers?
You would put it in the oven for 20-30 mins at a time at 240F

Where do you get the aftermarket lenses? I’ve never been able to find lenses for my Pontiac G6
The suppliers have lenses for many euro and Japanese models. I dont see anything for the G6.
Are the turn signals on the left still going to be used or only the halos?
Yes the original turn signals will still be used.
Where do you get the new lens covers?
We purchase them in bulk from one of our suppliers as we do many lens swaps for european cars. You can find them on ebay though. Quality is a mixed bag though. Inspect lenses fully before opening your lights.
Do you happen to know if the F15 and E70 use the same projector?
Appears to be!

What is the tool or tip you used to melt old lense
Ultrasonic cutting tool.
@@LightwerkzGlobal thanks for reply. It looked like a soldering iron attachment so I used mine and it worked well.
Also, you appear to be doing a pre LCI headlight from the looks of it. I will be working on my LCI soon.
How did you secure the Halos inside the housing? Epoxy resin, Beading wire, double sided tape?
Fishing line and epoxy.
Is it possible to change the projector to Bi Led and if possible how are the dash errors delt with?
Not 100% sure the bi-led would work. The HID swap just barely clears the AFS swiveling. Would have to test on the next go around. NO errors with HID but LED you would need coding I believe.
