Microsoft's Windows 11 is coming soon. Some say it’s just a “glorified theme pack”. Is this really true? And what's the big deal about TPM and Secure Boot? Are there any features worth upgrading for? Is it just a theme redesign or some changes are dramatic? What about clipboard history, adding a new desktop, private messages to family members - are there any major improvements here to the feature side? Find out now!
I'll also show you how you can install Windows 11 even though you have a red mark for TPM or Secure Boot. Many computers have these deactivated but you can activate these yourself in the bios. I'll show you how.

Thank you Leila for taking the time to put together this video. I found it very informative and will be very helpful when upgrade day comes. I look forward to more of your videos!
My pleasure, Ken!
Thanks for the sneak peak! As always, you rock!
learned something knew about windows 11 . hope you get more and much videos related on windows 11 leila . thank you so much for this one 👍👍
Your delivery is always so great! Thank you!
Thanks for the review. Condensed on important topics as always. To your question I would love to use Teams as unique conversation tool for business and privat as well instead to continue to use additional apps like What’s up. As more apps you have as more duplicate data you have and that is not efficient. Schöne Grüße nach Wien aus Bozen.
Wonderful tutorials and reviews! Thanks, Leila.
Great review and introduction to Windows 11. Thanks and keep up the good work! 👍
Love that high-fidelity Telefunken radio in the background, with the "squeeze-blue line" station tuner eye thing. Great sounding radio from the 1950s - ' 60s.. very collectible.
Thanks for the clarity. I might consider the upgrade.
I was hesitant to take the plunge into Windows 11. But your well done review has pushed me over the line. I will give it a go. You have a very pleasant style presentation style. Thank you. 😊
“If Mac and Windows have a kid that will be windows 11”. The was hilarious 😂😂😂. Once again great work Leila. 👍🏻
(Sigh) and couldn't be further from the truth.
Nothing about Windows 11 would suggest it is similar to Mac OS.
There is no dock at the bottom
There is no panel at the top.
There is no vertical lining up AND behaving Stacks folder
And, the windows file explorer is nothing like what is found in Mac OS.
Why do so many idiots keep thinking Microshit copied crapple? (Facepalm)
@@motoryzen WHOA no need to swear

I thought its ChromeOS? ?@-@?
Great vid. Was waiting for your thoughts. Loved seeing the Book there! I agree .. would love native ability to add and move tabs in Explorer.
Super review as usual Leila. I hope Microsoft takes your recommendations into consideration before they officially release Windows 11. Looking forward to running it on my Surface too.
Great rundown. Best I've seen so far.
I hope there's a performance boost, especially for 32-bit apps (I'm looking at you, Office).
I am not happy that grouping pinned items has been removed. I use it extensively, especially since so many programs now install into the grand list portion of the start bar and not into a folder (I'm looking at you, Adobe and Microsoft). That side bar becomes a complete mess, and I don't think the Apple / Win 11 pinning on the Task bar is efficient once you have a few programs.
I agree with the suggestion that virtual desktops should allow rearranging desktop shortcuts and potentially start bar pinning (especially considering my previous statement).
Hopefully between the items you note that could be better and the users "suggestions", they will actually listen and make the changes.
Your presentation and information were excellent as always. I still have doubts about Windows 11, but you gave me some things to think about. I will definitely need to upgrade my computer which is a bummer. On another note, I know others have commented already on this, your voice is really soothing. You should think about getting into the ASMR arena. I could listen to you for hours.
Once again, thank you for the quality of your expression, it’s a pleasure to hear someone speaking that well. And of course thanks for the content.
10:03 fun fact: she agreed to grab lunch at 12:30PM when it was 1:18PM... Win11 comes with time travelling feature :D . great video, thanks Leila :)
That's hilarious. Now I think I can attend the dinner party I missed yesterday.
I must say this is the most useful Win 11 review I've watched so far. Good to see it 👍
Glad it was helpful!

Great video. I like your clear and concise method of delivery.
Very helpful. Thank you! 🤗
Good and helpful review, thanks Leila! 😊 I'm still waiting for the improvements to be implemented by the Microsoft developers as you've pointed out in your review, before I will upgrade to (the final release of) Windows 11.
There is no (good) reason to wait. Heaps of good reasons to go with Win11

How much did they pay you to say that ? Seriosuly, with all the bugs and trouble, none should install that beta tester version called Windows 11. Bill Gates should invest more in his software development and less in fake NGOs.

Your content is always worth watching. Superb analysis.
Thank you for a fine introductory review.👍

This must be an older video since Windows 11 now has Tabs in File Explorer. I am very happy about the addition of this feature! I know that you are also! Great video! I just got Windows 11 on my work computer.
I am a regular follower of your videos, which enabled me to gain good knowledge mainly on windows 11 lectures. Thanks
I like the new look. Are you able to add the quick launch bar? Thanks for sharing 👍
It's like the complete list of features I don't want gathered into a single convenient package! Amazing!
I really appreciate the video, I would love to see you explained on it by touching on what laptop you can recommended in a Top 5-10 (each 5) of older compatible laptops in addition to newer laptops you build in?
Great review. Concise and to the point.
I had bought an Asus AIO maybe 6 months before Windows 11 and I too had a TPM / secure boot issue. I had to yes go into my bios and enable TPM and when I called the place I bought the system from they said they should give me an IT job....LOL....I do what I do for fun when I want to do it. Thanks for your vids Leila they rock. And you are extremely easy on the eyes.
Best explanation for TPM requirements for flighting Windows 11. And covers all the needed info to navigate the updated interface.
Rubbish....half the information about the difference between a TPM module that is connected to your motherboard and a firmware TPM that is in the BIOS....
Well done, Leila... The best Windows 11 review I've seen!
Thanks for some tips I hadn't got around to discovering. Enjoy watching your expressive fingers.
For a non-IT person - very well done! Thank you for the effort you put into this. I will definitely subscribe to your channel 👍

All the Wdws +... shortcuts very helpful and timesaving.
May I ask: Is there a quick way to windows in Windows 11 (as there was in 10)?
Thank you for a helpful and informative video. I’ll upgrade when MS make it available to me 😊

Great video!!! Just one small thing, Direct Storage helps load games faster from SSD but you said 'graphics card'.
Great video
Amazing, thanks a lot I found what i want
Thanks Leila, super helpful. I have an older PC as well, hopefully it will let me upgrade.
I upgraded a few days ago to Windows 11 and I'm very happy so far with it as a power user. I understood that the taskbar functionality will be restored in coming updates along with many other improvements, but not an issue for me.
I 100% agree with your comment on Virtual Desktops. That would be nice. I remember a 3rd party application for Windows 95/98 supported this.
Hello greetings from Venezuela, excellent review, very good and important information about this new operating system. Hugs from a distance

Great review! Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for the Win 11 review. It was very helpful. Unfortunately for me to upgrade is going to be an issue. My current system board doesn't have a TPM installed and I've been unable to procure one.
amazing video!! I will ask you about the performance, what about RAM usage for Windows 11? and I am sure you will need an SSD too. It looks cool, fancy, but after using Windows 10 for almost 2 years I've got annoyed a lot with the automatic updates (the last one really annoyed me a lot and so I stopped them at all). It seems that they always wanna force you to update to the last hardware by destroying the old one you have (not that old really) with heavier updates, more resource consumption. I will give it a try if it's different to this, we need stability, control over almost all the OS features like controlling the updates with no need to enter several lines in the CMD, is not good at all when you are turning on your pc for work and it's updating and when it's on the explorer.exe doesn't work! great job :D
This is the first time I like tutorial videos...thank you Leila....a good combination of intelligence, knowledge and great public speaking will keep you moving forward
Thank you! 😃
Your content is awesome!
Great information and very helpful. I would be interested in getting your thoughts about deploying Windows 11 in a large office with about 250 users and what would be the best way of preparing staff before the upgrade from Windows 10 pro to Windows 11?
I would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks

Very informative video. Thank you. I have one question, will my old office 2013 work with Windows 11?
I still haven’t decided whether I will switch to 11. Thank you for the video!
05:00 The action center is also where you access your SIM card if your computer has one.
11:40 you access your virtual desktops with windows button + tab
I tried to upgrade my old desktop computer with a new CPU, MOBO and RAM, only to figure out the secure boot requires an NVMe SSD. Properly more commonly installed in laptops and luckily for me it is also very common on new MOBOs. Now I just have to buy on :)
Hi Leila, your presentation is as always fantastic, I wonder how you could get the tablet mode (bigger icons etc.) activated. When I undock my sureface keyboard, nothing happend. What do I wrong? Can you help? Howeever, great job!!!

Great introduction to WIndows 11, I've been using it on my work computer now for 6+ and was able to adapt from Windows 10 very easily.
Great to hear!
thanks for review....
Thank you Leila for this comprehensive review of Windows 11! Got to know enough to consider upgrade or not? BTW, liked the old radio you had in the background, is it working? Had a similar one during my childhood, and listening to it was always a pleasure! 😊👍
No, unfortunately it's not working anymore 😔
@@LeilaGharani That’s a shame, it is a nice radio. These older radios (usually valve), can often be repaired.
Love it really great 😍
Thanks a lot for the great review, Leila!
Is it somehow possible to split the personal and business contacts in teams? Is it possible to manage status and notifications? For example be offline and do not receive notifications from business accounts after 5pm but still be visible and online for the personal accounts.
For Chat, only personal is supported. You can always install a full version of teams if you want
Excellent content.
Ok, I have a LOT of your vids in tabs. You do a fantastic job of creating meaningful content! You are also a polished and charming presenter. Do you have a Patreon channel yet?
Great video, just a small thing: Auto HDR is already present in Windows 11, this is available through the display settings. Direct Storage is indeed missing though.
Hi I m from India u gave very nice information about windows 11... The best 👍
Love you have been following you .great help it was on many occasions.though this is not related to excel but can you please suggest how to count character and number from a. Cell eg.S14;S14. If data is separated by coma
I have seen lots of videos of windows 11 on UA-cam but this is by far the best videos on windows 11 well explained 👍
Wow, thanks!
@@LeilaGharani instead of criticising windows 11 like everybody on UA-cam 😁 u did something different and i really like it because not everybody can use Linux and macOS and most of the people around the world use windows everyday this kind of videos put some positive impact instead of thinking about " windows new version is really bad as always now what should i do should i purchase expensive mac or what to do" great job by the way 👍
My first impression was Windows 11 was trying to emulate Chrome OS. Thank you for the full review. I will probably end up upgrading.
This is the best review of windows11!! Thanks
what a good presentation!!
Your videos as always perfect. Yes I will upgrade, but if serious for me Windows upgrades just like change closes, nothin else. New look. I am using computer every day all my free time, watching movies, watching youtube, editing videos, uploading pictures from my camera or phone, reading docs, working little bit with Excel, learning to code. And for these tasks I Can NOT see any differences. It is windows 7, 10 or 11. Just new skin 😁😁😁
Nice review
You have done an excellent job of presenting the new Win11. However you could have added 2 more very important points for potential upgrades:
1. How efficiently is the battery managed? Is there more power savings?
2. How is the response time to commands - an improvement or the same?
How do you evaluate the battery management & performance and What do think of the response time compared to the old version. thx
After notice and query on nose and voicing of princess Leila and she admitted she has voice coach, now I noticed so much or great improvement. Keep it up your amazing and you have amazing content......a gold standard content
Great presentation
Already in the Beta for Windows 11 and I'm loving the improvements
Love the old radio behind you !
Oh! Someone has already noticed. Reminds me of days of early 60s.
Absolutely yes 😁. This seems to be the beginning of many excellent updates to the most universal OS.
yeah i don't know seem like trash to me lol. the only thing it had going for it was the side loading of android apps which i can already do with third party apps. it seems windows 11 is a bust.
"Never combine taskbar icons" is the FIRST setting I do on a fresh Windows install. I cannot understand why someone wants to hover an icon with a mouse, wait, move the mouse, then click instead of just click.
I do the same & that's the only thing I dislike so far in W11
Same here! Only people who do not know how great the task bar has been before use this annoying grouped icons and waste time with waiting to see fancy animations... There are actually many settings I have to set for a convenient workflow with Windows 10. E.g. "expand to open folder" in the File Explorer tree, showing file extensions, and many more... They will never convert Mac addicts with it, so why don't they focus on people who value working with Windows?!
That and install 7+ Taskbar Tweaker to be able to drag and order the tabs on the taskbar and other options.
@@drei-kubik Oh yes, hidden filename extensions by default. Another thing I will never understand.
@@valentinkovshik What ? File extensions cannot be shown any more ?
Anyway, who needs Windows file explorer. I use Total Commander.
Microsoft has a sadistic pleasure to get things even more annoying.
Thank you I am learning a lot from you, Can I go ahead and ask the software that you use to edit the video? 😉
I use mainly Camtasia
Great info as always. I use the snipping tool a lot and I can't find how to save as a picture.
After you took the snip you just click on Save as in the upper right corner of the window.
@@LeilaGharani Thanks Leila. Maybe I couldn't see it with my old eyes.
Very important review 👍
Everyone is really interested in Windows 11, it is like a new tech trend. I really wish my device was compatible but it's fine. Great video Mam your explained very precisely in short time! 🔥👍👍🙏
Whoever cannot upgrade👇
Excellent overview, Leila! As a cyber security professional one thing that has always made me mad was how little use Windows made of features like TPM (you practically needed third party software to use it). There was also considerable political pressure on Microsoft not to use TPM (but that's a whole other story). I am very glad to see those improvements with Win 11 and will push for early adoption.
Same here. It’s past due.
@@robbren8679 Complaining about 11's hardware requirements is SO silly... they are nothing but good (overdue) things.
Same here. and It is not just TPM there more security options coming to Windows 11 as well!
The BIGGEST security feature of Windows in any version, or any operating system, is the user. They are the ones that allow or not items that can be "dangerous" like viruses, malware, etc. into their system. If they are not conscious of what they do, do not blame the operating system when it was the user that allowed it to happen. If you do not keep your system up to date, virus definitions, etc. then you have no one but yourself to blame it something happens.
@@ackman3981 I agree. It's like blaming your car when you get fined for speeding. It's not the car's responsibility to make sure you drive within the speed limit. it's the driver's responsibility.
