That is an extreme mis-match with that trailer/Boat. He needs most of the Boat's weight on the wheels and the vertical piece on the trailer needs to be moved rearward.

My first time ever, towing a boat and trailer. I had an extended-length bed, Ford F250, which didn't handle worth a darn. I had just bought the boat, had no experience towing a trailer. Picked up the boat from the guy's house...in an alley behind the house. Went to make the turn onto a narrow side-street and felt a little 'bump'...then the next thing I heard was a kid screaming "DAAAAAAAAD...HEEEY DAAAAAAAAAD...SOME GUY JUST RAN INTO YOUR CAR!!!!" It was a big old Cadillac with huge bumpers, and fortunately it wasn't hurt, but my trailer's fender was...well...let's just say a huge dent. This guy was into about his third after-work beer, and he couldn't have cared less about the car. Whew!!
Well if his tires touch the water with that trailer. He needs to go Bloop bloop bloop. That poor truck.

The huge trailers axles are at the very back end of the trailer. Why???? DYI???

Totally agree these lads have not shown any understanding the tow ball weight when extending the draw bar.
The photo does however show the boats position on the trailer cannot cause a early unmanageable entry into the water from the trailer
The front trailer tires look overloaded as well. Hopefully they are not taking it far. I hope the trailer brakes are working.

Pulled the eyelet right off the boat.
Rams don't have that much in towing... if that's in range he definitely needs some air bags on that. Leaf springs aren't enough.
Some Ram's don't have leaf springs. They have coil springs. I bet that Ram has coil's. A miss match of truck, trailer and boat, Chit Show. I hope they made it home.
@chrischille3930 I forget about those coils. Ours just had leaf springs. Geez. I hope he made I hope also, but I can guarantee his check engine light is either forever on or is on, on the drive home.
That truck was grossly over loaded.
Will not go straight up because look at the trailer, the weight of the boat is correct, only the draw bar length is extended helps the driver reverse into the area available
Alfred did you check out how low the front tires were on that trailer almost flat No way will they let him on the road. To much tongue weight on the hitch.
Oversize trailer for the boat is weird. Typically, the trailers are undersized in Florida

I think he tore the steel loop in the bow of the boat off, is probably a big hole there.
Now you know why people rent u-Hauls (a big rental U haul may have been better) - That truck is too small for the boat /trailer. Also - If the driver does not drive very very slow that trailer/boat will start wobbling as in the tail wagging the dog. Even a Ram 2500 or an F250 is too small. It needs at least an F350 or an Ram 3500 to pull it!
They either had the boat and bought a trailer! Or the had a trailer and found a boat!!

Hmmm boat weight approx 13,000 lbs, trailer add approx 3,000 Lbs. Ram V-8 gas towing capacity 8,100....I's a 2 for 1 deal, Now lets see him try to stop that rig the way the boat is secured on the trailer.....PS love how the front trailer axle tires are crushed and the trucks too.

Need bigger truck they move it too far back that’s going to sway when they get on the road …waiting for it to roll back into the water and be done lol can tell they barely know how to back a trailer.

2 man outside undressing the boat ties before dumping into the water, assumed 1 man driver placing boat into a semi floating position, obviously one or 2 man will stay on the boat, reverse the boat from the trailer and eventually the launch is done in sequence as every other past launching sequence
Way too much tongue weight. Look at the 3 wheels clearance to the trailer's fender.

Why say the boat is pushed back on the trailer when the reality is the trailer has a long draw bar, the longer draw bar should in theory allow the vehicle operator to have greater control over the trailers direction…..
