- Surprisingly, this did not get blocked?! Or am I speaking too fast? I'm scared now nsnsns Anyway, this comeback of theirs is what I would call a 'madeleine de proust', as in, the songs trigger memories, especially Bubble gum! Which to me did not sound Y2K coded at all but much older? They nailed the video cassette effect, VHS for real! Super light and cute, really sweet! And 'How sweet' was actually more of the Y2K sound or aesthetic that I associate them with! It's super on brand, super catchy and I have to admit that I much prefer this song to 'ETA'! With that said though, I do still hope for them to go into a more rnb coded comeback next because I still cannot get over 'get up' and how good it sounded! Please!

Bubblegum is City Pop heavy from the music to the theme and style of the MV. And I think How Sweet is Retro Pop, considering it's a lot more modernized production.

I love the song, and the video, and the vibe, and the looks, the singing, and everything, but I'm a little put off by the blatant coca cola commercial. I get it, it's a sponsorship, but perhaps that wasn't the route to go for their comeback music video? I'm fine with separate, sponsorship videos to promote things, like they've done before, but not for their main EP or comeback, just my opinion.
