@CopperJacketTV I know you are in Nevada and your mags in a fixed magazine are legal, in CA that isn’t the case and lots of Californians own standard capacity mags and putting them on a fix mag rifle is a felony, maybe some clarity?

@@texture6 I am just saying there are some people who are less than smart, I can’t tell you how many times I have seen people committing felonies with freedom week mags in their “fixed magazine rifles”…
People want to forget the AR-15 was developed by Jim Sullivan in 1957 in HOLLYWOOD, CA!!!! CA had ARs first!!
I love that you still have love for us Californians left behind even my lines in the golden state. Thank you for your content. Your are one of my favorites on YT.
He better, I bet most of his subs are in California.
Thanks so much. If it wasn’t so expensive I’d still be there 👍🏻
Don’t worry mate we’ll make it out of here soon✊
HEAR HEAR! 👌🏼
Glad to see you doing a review
Great video, I hope there is a follow-up showing the internals, bolt carrier, 4M feed ramps, how to handle a double feed. An overall manual of arms for a rifle with a mag locking system such as that would be cool.
The blackout defense is my first gun I’ve ever purchased! Just called yesterday and talked to Brooke . She was so amazing and walked me through the whole process. We added everything I wanted including the color scheme and out the door it was just under 2,200 and that was with their 400 off for black Friday !!! I’m so excited to get this gun and I’ll probably buy another once a new version comes out !
Receive yours yet?
@@Killakali323 I'm a different guy. I ordered Dec 4th, 2023. Just got my shipping notice this week. Should be at my FFL dealer today.
Thanks for the great content brother
Great video and very informative.
Definitely going to buy one
Ordered one a month ago. I got Burnt Bronze on the receivers and rail, bronze on buffer tube and FDE on everything else with same barrel and muzzle device.
What's the price on one
I’m a blackout fanatic, own several and it’s my first option of go to rifle👍
Thinking about getting it as my first high end ar15, what are your thoughts ?
@@qwertyy94Yes!
That is awesome looking A-15 set up
I ordered the same exact specs this week! It’s an 8 month lead time right now, so that’s going to be a painful wait, but I’m excited! 😁
Another great video!!!
Will have to be my Xmas present!
since they come staked.....i wished Blackout Defense would have a factory added Folding Stock ...so that the user wouldn't have to brake the castle nut off.
Single stage brother here, great looking rifle! Keep up tne good work.
Thinking about this one.
Needs a JP buffer. I can see a good amount of recoil when you're firing that beauty.
I can see there is a kingpen rear take down but no details about their mag lock device.
It's a Gen 4 AR Maglock. They install it at the factory. It ships completely CA compliant. No extra work needed.
@@standardcapacity the gen 4 ar maglock doesn't look like anything that was on that rifle.
Im saving up going to pick one up in may
Nice looking rifle. for $2,300 it better be.
Because we all can afford a $2,500 pew pew to comply... California... $$$$$$$$$
That’s nice solid 💯
I'm waiting for Black out to come out with a 20" model
I guess you aren't allowed to show us how the maglock system works....
I've never heard of a mag lock until now
ian, that is absolutely beautiful! Can these be picked up elsewhere for lower than MSRP, or do they have to be ordered directly through Blackout Defense?
Beautiful ar.
Personally, I like the Compmag option, which they do offer on their website. Sick rifle though, for sure. 👍
0:58 my mind is blown 😮
Awsome!!! Guess what i'm getting for Christmas. Thank you for this review
WHAT HAVE WE BECOME??! "California COMPLIANT???!!!" HOW ABOUT ----> SHALL NOT INFRINGE!!!
Do you hear that..? Sounds like a signal.
Well for us in CA we need work arounds
Damn CA does not follow constitution
As a Californian I agree with this message
Dude, this is nothing new. California has been infringing for decades. Nobody ever stops them.
I think this is why we are seeing so many Californians are leaving the state.
The outrageous taxes, crime, and perversion of the kids' education probably also has something to do with it too. 😊
Pains me to admit it, but I think leaving California is the correct answer.
@standardcapacity I've been trying to make the most stubborn of posters here understand that for many months now! 😊
@standardcapacity Yep! There are lots of different choices but there is only one CORRECT choice! 😊
Leaving, then going and ruining other states.
Infringed doesn't mean revoked. It means limited... the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be limited.
Text, History, and Tradition.
Fvuck yeah
They also give you the option of the comp mag or featureless
I have gen1 and absolutely love it. Incredible rifle and my go to.
Love the Riffle, but $$$$ dang!
Awsome
That barrel in a 18 inch with rifle length adjustable gas block would be a soft shooting accurate bang stick. Me personally im up in the air about the forward assist have them but never had to use them luckily.
That is an SL Mag 347 Stock, not an SLK Mag 626, my friend. SLK has the vertical sling groove along the but pad. Love your videos, love the Quantum DTL.
Very cool :3
how hard is it to take apart to remove the
bcg and clean the barrel?
The 24 month lead time is crazy
Vey nice
literally cant wait for mine to get here got prolly another 6 weeks before they make it....................
Ordering w / 16” barrel, all black.
Newsom just signed another tax on weapons
This week….
🇺🇸✌🏼😎🏴☠️
Hey man. Could you tell me if these are using mil spec or commercial diameter buffer tubes? I just ordered one and want to get a different stock for it.
Can you explain the bolt lock out? Not sure what that is and why does that AR not need the ridiculous fin on the pistol grip?
Not sure on the bolt question, but if you have a mag lock rifle, you don't have to use featureless items, such as a fin grip. You can have a featureless AR in CA or a mag lock release AR(break action type) in CA.
No need for a Fin with a Mag-Lock
on the ca model does the bolt hold back on last shot?
Bolt catch work?
13.9" barrel souls this be an SBR or is there language that says the muzzle device is included in the overall length?
In NJ we have to be 16" prior to muzzle device.
13.9 plus keymo makes it 16.. its nj legal. I live here too. When building it on the site it will make sure you don’t break any laws, dont worry!
And it doesn’t need to be 16 before muzzle device. You’re incorrect
The key is that it (the muzzle device) has to be permanently attached to be considered legal
What's the California compliant mag-lock called?
Yeah I tried to get it but they wouldn’t deliver in my state in Pa.
Copper Jack where can I purchase one of this weapons ? Any Gun store !
Wondering if broke in your barrel with cleaning process??
Does it come with a 10 round mag?
It does.
better then LWRC or Daniel Defense? not sure..better them Sig also? gotta look into them..
Only thing DD has going for it is the barrel longevity and handguard to upper strength.
Probably still illegal in the Commonhellhole of Massachusetts
Cool rifle i’m happy for ya brother and thank you for keeping us in the loop on gun control 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
Where is that at? The location where you went shooting?
Never use a ar15 that doesnt have a forward assist. Now your betting with your life it will never malfunction
forward assist makes it worse
@@swatbwana ??? Generally curious
They now have the option to add a forward assist for $45.
Does it come without iron sights
No, it does not.
What color is your barrel? It looks almost cream or white in the video.
Is it MASSACHUTTES compliant
No, the firing mechanism and action is AR platform dimension/design. Now some MA FFL's are selling SIGs because the action is not AR but it's basically an arrest and criminal lawsuit in the making, depending on the prosecutor in your county. Of course everything will be banned if the Senate passes the current anti gun bill.
Wait ✋️ what new senate bill? There is ANOTHER ATTEMPT AT BANNING OUR 2ND AMENDMENT TRYING TO GET THRU?
What kind of scope is that?
Nice review but you never mentioned why it is the best CA compliant rifle? What makes it so much better and faster than other mag lock AR’s?
Because you have to break the upper from the lower to release the magazine
I understand how it works, but the title of the video said this was a CA compliant game changer. Never mentions why/how this is so much better than other CA compliant AR’s. Is the push pin more convenient? Faster? Revolutionary? Just talks specs but not why this is the BEAT CA complaint AR
@@sandiegogeek he's just talking about the function fit and finish and how it's reliable in all weather situations
@@sandiegogeekit’s a battle arms development Mrb with a king pin. you can send it to battle arms development and have it done on any lower you have. Makes the gun look indistinguishable from a non compliant gun.
@@sandiegogeek1:40 - 2:40 he explains that it is the most streamlined version of a maglock AR that comes like that from the factory. Not sure other brands come that way from the factory - e.g., I have the same set up for my DDM4 V7 CA, but had to buy and install separately as aftermarket. He then goes on to explain why all the factory features make it better than other CA legal options - agree or disagree, he makes a pretty solid case, without actually breaking the rifle apart and showing all the internals
Havent watched yet, but just putting it out there, based on appearance alone, how is it CA legal?
Arent pistol grips on ARs still illegal in CA?
Still has the maglock
Featured v. Featureless. There are options in California.
Maybe you should watch! Lmao😂
Best mag lock is Hogur Freedom Fightet…
You went muzzle to buttstock, but not a single detail about what’s different about the maglock . It looks like there’s a kingpin, but what else is there? Is the bolt holdback still functional? Some maglocks disable that, making misfeed clearing a dangerous process.
Since the premise of the video was that this was about a Kommiefornia compliant rifle, it would have been nice if at least part of the video focused on what makes it compliant.
It's a Gen 4 AR Maglock
@@standardcapacity Actually, no. I went to their site and it says they use the Battle Arms conversion for the maglock and the Kingpin to separate the upper and lower. It’s a PERMANENT ( unlike the AR Maglock) modification to the lower. So if you get the Kommiefornia version, you’re pretty well stuck with it when the law is permanently gone.
CA compliant.....LMFAO!
I wouldnt ever buy something that was fully dedicated to being compliant especially after Benitez last statement.
So i will say My Battle Arms Development workhorse and elite with removable maglocks when the tine comes is better option for me. 👌🏻
It can easily be converted back if by some miracle the CA AWB is actually overturned. It's basically the same thing as your setup. It just comes that way directly from Blackout Defense so that you don't have to do extra work.
Still not CA legal because of the barrel length. California still requires rifles to be 16in in barrel length. For shotguns it is 18.5in if it is shorter than that california deems it an assault weapon. For rifles if it is under 16in it will be consider a SBR which will need to be a bolt or single shot.
With the pin and welded muzzle device it meets 16".
Notice, there is no Forward Assist .
Yep, a forward assist is absolutely necessary. I would never trust my life to a rifle without one.
Mostly outdated milspec, if you need to use your forward assist, you probably need a better buffer tube spring.
@@constitutionallyconscious165 Forward assist saved Kyle Rittenhouse's life. Watch the Tucker Carlson interview where he describes looking down and seeing his bolt slightly out of battery as Gaige Grosskreutz was raising his pistol to shoot him. He tapped the forward assist and squeezed off a round at the last possible moment.
The forward assist is absolutely necessary. He would be DEAD without it. There is no argument.
@@constitutionallyconscious165 Very true.
Forward assist is coming.. stop complaining
Great review BUT you didn't say the price ! isn't that sort'a the POINT ? also you didn't say the caliber it is or what it can be.... I don't have a AR15 and am not likely to in the future because of their extremely high price. some can go for as little as $600.00 but most are around $1200.00 and I expect this one you reviewed is even higher than that ...around the $2500.00 range..... am I close ?
Seems way too complementary 😏
Where can I get one? I’m in love 😍
No front sights
CAN YOU LOCK THE BOLT BACK
Dare I ask the cost 😅
Same rifle is available with the Juggernaut grip for California , if you choose to have a normal AR-15 set up with the standard weapon manipulation lol, the mag lock crap is a joke , no need for that extra step ...
Telescoping stock is a felony so is that pistolgrip. You got 2 felonies already.
😂
Why would you ever buy something that is pinned and welded?
You should start going to the gym one of these days.

In reality, the law in California is whatever the hell the Democrat Party says it is.
@@skyydn9476Of course, they can still throw you in prison for not complying.
That rifle is not California ready. What are you talking
How to look cool while being oppressed

from what I know. it is still illegal to by an AR15 in the state of CA.. correct me if IM wrong and please show where it says its ok to buy an AR-15 in California in the CA gun laws. CA made it illegal to by an AR-15 in 2015 . when did this change?
Nope
nevermind ur talking about CA compliant..hopefully laws change dramatically very soon..
Only 10 rnds? 😂 Freedom week says thats bs 😆
Looks like a Q sugar weasel 🤷🏽
Nice rifle
Get to it💰💵😮🤔👀?
Actually it doesn't need to be California legal. Even if in California
